Detailed Description
Hereinafter, an absorbent article according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. The configurations of the following embodiments are examples, and the present invention is not limited to the configurations of these embodiments.
< first embodiment >
In the present embodiment, a tape (tape) -type disposable diaper (an example of the "absorbent article" referred to in the present application, hereinafter simply referred to as "diaper") is defined by a longitudinal direction which is a direction connecting a front part of a body disposed to face an abdomen of a wearer and a rear part of the body disposed to face a back of the wearer. The crotch portion disposed under the crotch of the wearer (disposed opposite to the crotch) is located between the front of the body (one side in the longitudinal direction) and the back of the body (the other side in the longitudinal direction) (the center in the longitudinal direction). In a state in which the diaper is worn on a wearer (hereinafter, simply referred to as a "worn state"), a side facing the skin of the wearer (an inner side in the worn state) is referred to as a skin surface side, and an opposite side to the skin surface side (an outer side in the worn state) is referred to as a non-skin surface side. Further, a direction connecting the skin surface side and the non-skin surface side is defined as a thickness direction, and a direction orthogonal to both the longitudinal direction and the thickness direction is defined as a width direction. Further, a view viewed from the thickness direction is defined as a top view.
Fig. 1 is a perspective view of a diaper of an embodiment. The diaper 1 has: a crotch region 1B corresponding to a crotch region that covers a wearer's private parts when worn; a body front region 1F located on the front side of the crotch region 1B and corresponding to the front of the wearer's body; and a body rear region 1R which is located on the rear side of the crotch region 1B and corresponds to the rear of the wearer's body. The belts 2L and 2R attachable to the front panel (front patch)2F are provided on the left and right edges of the body rear region 1R, and the front panel 2F is provided on the non-wearer side surface of the body front region 1F. Therefore, when the belts 2L and 2R are attached to the front panel 2F in a state where the body front region 1F is disposed on the abdominal side of the wearer and the body rear region 1R is disposed on the back side of the wearer, the diaper 1 is fixed to the body of the wearer in a state of being wrapped around the abdominal circumference and the thighs of the wearer. Since the diaper 1 is fixed to the wearer's body in this manner, the wearer can walk while standing in a state where the diaper 1 is worn.
In the diaper 1, an absorbent body capable of absorbing and retaining liquid is arranged mainly around the crotch region 1B as the center. In addition, in the diaper 1, in order to suppress formation of a gap as a liquid outflow path between the diaper 1 and the skin of the wearer, the leg gathers 3AL, 3AR are provided around the leg periphery (thigh) of the wearer, the three-dimensional gathers 3BL, 3BR are provided at positions further inward in the width direction of the diaper 1 than the leg gathers 3AL, 3AR, and the waist gather (waist gather)3R is provided at a position around the abdominal periphery of the wearer. The leg gathers 3AL, 3AR, the three-dimensional gathers 3BL, 3BR, and the waist gather 3R are in close contact with the skin of the wearer by the elastic force of the rubber thread. Therefore, the liquid discharged from the pudendal region of the wearer is absorbed by the absorbent body of the diaper 1 without leaking from the diaper 1.
Fig. 2 is an exploded perspective view of the diaper 1. Fig. 3 is a cross-sectional view taken along the width direction at the center in the longitudinal direction of the diaper 1 in a non-worn state. Fig. 4 is a plan view of the diaper 1 in an extended state as viewed from the skin surface side. In the drawings of fig. 4 and onward, a line C as a chain line is a center line indicating the center in the width direction of the diaper 1. The diaper 1 has a cover sheet 4 (one example of what is referred to herein as an "exterior sheet") that forms an outer surface in a worn state. The covering sheet 4 is a sheet-like member having a substantially rectangular appearance provided with the contracted portions 4KL and 4KR at positions corresponding to the long sides, and forms the outer covering surface of the diaper 1. The constrictions 4KL, 4KR are provided at the portions where the wearer's thighs are located ( leg surrounding areas 10L, 10R shown in fig. 4). The covering sheet 4 is provided for reinforcing the backsheet 5 described later and improving the texture, and for example, a nonwoven fabric made of a liquid impermeable thermoplastic resin can be used as the material of the backsheet 5 to suppress leakage of excrement. Examples of the liquid-impermeable thermoplastic resin include Polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), and the like. The covering sheet 4 is not limited to a single-layer structure, and may be a multi-layer structure having an inner covering sheet and an outer covering sheet.
The diaper 1 further includes a backsheet 5, an absorbent body 6C, and a topsheet 7, which are sequentially stacked on the wearer-side surface of the cover sheet 4. The bottom sheet 5, the absorbent body 6C, and the top sheet 7 are sheet-like members having a substantially rectangular appearance, and are sequentially laminated on the covering sheet 4 in a state where the longitudinal direction coincides with the longitudinal direction of the covering sheet 4. The bottom sheet 5 is a sheet formed of a liquid impermeable thermoplastic resin as a material, similarly to the cover sheet 4, for suppressing leakage of excrement. In order to suppress the stuffiness feeling in the worn state, the bottom sheet 5 is preferably made of a material having both moisture permeability. The top sheet 7 is a sheet-like member that is disposed on the skin surface side of the wearer and covers the water absorption surface of the absorbent body 6C. A part or the whole of the top sheet 7 has liquid permeability. Therefore, in the state where the diaper 1 is worn, the liquid excreted by the wearer enters the absorber 6C through the top sheet 7 which can be in contact with the skin of the wearer, where it is absorbed. For example, a woven fabric, a nonwoven fabric, a porous film can be used as the material of the top sheet 7. Further, the top sheet 7 may also have hydrophilicity.
The bottom sheet 5, the absorbent body 6C, and the top sheet 7 extend from the front body region 1F to the back body region 1R. Therefore, when the private parts of the wearer are covered with the cover sheet 4 in which the bottom sheet 5, the absorbent body 6C, and the top sheet 7 are laminated, both ends in the longitudinal direction of the bottom sheet 5, the absorbent body 6C, and the top sheet 7 are positioned on the abdomen side and the back side of the wearer. That is, the wearer's pudendal region is covered with the absorbent body 6C from the abdomen side to the back side of the wearer. Therefore, regardless of whether the wearer discharges the liquid to the outside of the body in a posture with the abdomen facing downward or a posture with the back facing downward, the discharged liquid contacts the absorbent body 6C through the top sheet 7.
In the diaper 1, the rubber threads 4SL and 4SR for forming the leg gathers 3AL and 3AR are provided between the cover sheet 4 and the backsheet 5 so as to stretch and contract in the longitudinal direction of the diaper 1. The rubber threads 4SL, 4SR are provided in an appropriate number (three in the present embodiment) determined in accordance with the elastic force (contractive force) required for the design of the diaper 1 and the like. Further, as shown in fig. 4, the leg gathers 3AL, 3AR are arranged to include leg surrounding areas 10L, 10R, which are portions of the diaper 1 where the thighs of the wearer are located. The leg surrounding regions 10L, 10R are disposed at both widthwise end portions of the crotch region 1B. The areas where the rubber threads 4SL, 4SR are arranged are the leg gathers 3AL, 3 AR.
Further, the diaper 1 has elongated belt- like side panels 8L, 8R. The side sheets 8L, 8R are liquid-impermeable sheets provided at portions of the long sides of the top sheet 7. In the side sheets 8L and 8R, the contracted portions 8KL and 8KR are provided at the portions where the thighs of the wearer are located ( leg surrounding regions 10L and 10R shown in fig. 4), as in the covering sheet 4. Rubber threads 8EL and 8ER for forming the three-dimensional gathers 3BL and 3BR are woven into the side sheets 8L and 8R in the longitudinal direction. When the diaper 1 is in a worn state, that is, when the diaper 1 is in a U-shape as viewed from the side, the side sheets 8L and 8R are pulled up in the longitudinal direction by the contraction force of the rubber threads 8EL and 8ER, and rise from the top sheet 7, and become the three-dimensional gathers 3BL and 3BR which prevent liquid from flowing out.
Further, the rubber thread 4C for preventing a gap from being formed between the diaper 1 and the abdominal circumference of the wearer is provided at a position on the inner side in the width direction of the diaper 1 than the rubber threads 4SL, 4SR of the cover sheet 4 in the longitudinal direction of the diaper 1. The rubber threads 4C are provided in an appropriate number (three in the present embodiment) determined according to the elastic force (contractive force) required for the design of the diaper 1 and the like.
Further, the rubber thread 9ER for forming the waist gather 3R is provided between the bottom sheet 5 and the top sheet 7 at a position on the back side of the end of the absorbent body 6C. The rubber thread 9ER is provided between the bottom sheet 5 and the top sheet 7 in such a direction that the longitudinal direction, which is the stretching direction, is the lateral direction of the diaper 1. Therefore, when the belts 2L and 2R provided on both the left and right sides of the rubber thread 9ER are attached to the front panel 2F on the abdominal side of the wearer, the rubber thread 9ER exerts a contractive force to bring the diaper 1 into close contact with the wearer, thereby preventing a gap from being formed between the diaper 1 and the abdominal circumference of the wearer.
The absorber 6C has a structure in which a particulate Absorbent resin such as SAP (Super Absorbent Polymer) which is a hydrophilic Polymer having a crosslinked structure capable of absorbing and retaining water is held in gaps between short fibers of cellulose (cellulose) fibers such as pulp (pulp) fibers, rayon (rayon) fibers, or cotton fibers, or short fibers obtained by hydrophilization treatment of synthetic fibers such as polyethylene, polypropylene, or polyethylene terephthalate (polyethylene terephthalate). Therefore, in the absorbent body 6C, the volume change of the absorbent resin before and after the absorption of the liquid is basically performed in the short fibers holding the absorbent resin in the gaps. Therefore, it can be said that the expansion rate of the thickness of the absorbent body 6C having absorbed the liquid is not as large as the expansion rate of the absorbent resin itself when looking over the entire absorbent body 6C.
The SAP particles of the present embodiment are particles formed by forming a resin composition containing SAP into particles. The "SAP-containing resin composition" as used herein is a concept including a composition composed of only an SAP, and a composition containing the SAP as a main component and other substances without adversely affecting absorbency. Examples of the "other substance" include an additive (a surface modifier added to hydrophobize the particle surface, and the like), an unreacted monomer remaining at the time of SAP synthesis, and the like.
Next, a visual information portion provided in the diaper 1 of the present embodiment will be described with reference to fig. 5. Fig. 5 is a plan view of the diaper 1 in an extended state as viewed from the non-skin surface side. In fig. 5, the rubber threads 4C, 8EL, 8ER and the side sheets 8L, 8R are not shown.
In the present embodiment, a plurality of visual information portions are provided on both outer sides in the width direction of the diaper 1. Visual information portions 11L and 12L are provided on the left side in the width direction, and visual information portions 11R and 12R are provided on the right side in the width direction. The visual information portions 11L and 11R are disposed at positions further outward in the width direction of the diaper 1 than the visual information portions 12L and 12R. The visual information portions 11L, 12L, 11R, and 12R are formed in a straight line shape extending to both longitudinal direction end portions of the diaper 1. The visual information portions 11L, 12L, 11R, and 12R are provided along the longitudinal direction of the diaper 1 and along the leg-surrounding regions 10L and 10R. The visual information portions 11L, 12L, 11R, and 12R overlap the rubber threads 4SL and 4SR for forming the leg gathers 3AL and 3AR in the thickness direction of the diaper 1.
The visual information portions 11L, 12L, 11R, and 12R are given colors (e.g., red and yellow) different from the other portions of the leg gathers 3AL and 3AR, and are provided in the leg gathers 3AL and 3 AR. More specifically, in the present embodiment, the visual information portions 11L, 12L, 11R, 12R are formed by giving colors (for example, red, yellow) different from the other portions of the leg gathers 3AL, 3AR to the outer surface side of the cover sheet 4 for forming the outer surface of the diaper 1. The visual information portions 11L, 12L, 11R, and 12R may be formed on any one of the cover sheet 4, the top sheet 5, and the side sheet 8, which are sheet members constituting the leg gathers 3AL and 3AR, so as to be visually recognizable from the outside. The visual information portions 11L and 11R disposed at positions relatively closer to the outer side in the width direction and the visual information portions 12L and 12R disposed at the inner side in the width direction may be given the same color or different colors from each other.
When the diaper is worn in a state where the leg gathers are not positioned correctly, for example, in a state where the leg gathers are inserted into the inside of the diaper, the leg gathers cannot be used to suppress leakage of liquid, and liquid leakage may occur. As described above, wearing a diaper in a state where the leg gathers are not in the correct positions causes liquid leakage. Further, generally, the entire diaper is formed of the same color, and the leg gathers are also formed of the same color. Therefore, the wearer or the user wearing the diaper on the wearer may take time and trouble to visually recognize whether or not the leg gathers are caught in the inner side of the diaper. When the diaper is worn with the leg gathers not in the correct positions, the leakage of liquid cannot be suppressed by the leg gathers, and liquid may leak from around the legs.
On the other hand, in the diaper 1 of the present embodiment, the visual information portions 11L, 12L, 11R, 12R visually indicate whether or not the diaper 1 is worn in a state in which the leg gathers 3AL, 3AR can suppress the side leakage of liquid. More specifically, when the diaper 1 is worn in a state where the leg gathers 3AL, 3AR are not tucked into the center side in the width direction, the visual information portions 11L, 12L, 11R, 12R can be visually recognized from the outside in the worn state. The leg gathers 3AL and 3AR are exposed to the outside when the diaper 1 is worn in a correctly positioned state, and are arranged to include the leg periphery of the wearer, thereby suppressing leakage of liquid from the leg periphery. In the present embodiment, in the case where the leg gathers 3AL, 3AR are not exposed to the outside, the wearer or user can easily determine that the diaper 1 is worn in a state where the leg gathers 3AL, 3AR are not tucked inside the diaper 1 and are in the correct position by observing the visual information portions 11L, 12L, 11R, 12R which are relatively easily visually recognizable. Thus, the diaper 1 of the present embodiment is worn in a state in which leakage of liquid can be suppressed by the leg gathers 3AL and 3AR, and therefore leakage of liquid from around the legs can be suppressed.
The visual information portions 12L and 12R are disposed at the widthwise central side end portions of the leg gathers 3AL and 3 AR. The widthwise central side end portions of the leg gathers 3AL, 3AR are the end portions on the arrangement side of the absorbent body 6C. Generally, the more the center side end portion in the width direction of the leg gather or a portion closer to the center side end portion is entangled inside, the poorer the function of suppressing liquid leakage by the leg gather is. Therefore, in the diaper 1 of the present embodiment, by providing the visual information portions 12L and 12R at the widthwise central side end portions of the leg gathers 3AL and 3AR, it is possible to easily determine whether or not the widthwise central side end portions of the leg gathers 3AL and 3AR and portions near the end portions are tucked inside. Thus, the diaper 1 of the present embodiment is worn in a state in which leakage of liquid can be suppressed by the leg gathers 3AL and 3AR, and therefore leakage of liquid from around the legs can be suppressed.
The covering sheet 4 forming the outer surface has the same color (e.g., white, background color of pattern, ground color) as the leg gathers 3AL, 3 AR. Therefore, when the diaper is worn with the leg gathers 3AL, 3AR being inclined inward in the width direction or folded inward in the width direction, the visual information portions 11L, 12L, 11R, 12R are not visually recognized from the outside, and the wearer can recognize that the leg gathers 3AL, 3AR are in a state of being rolled inside, that is, the diaper 1 is in an improperly worn state. Further, when the diaper 1 is worn in a state where the diaper is wrapped in the crotch region 1B at a position further outward in the width direction than the absorbent body 6C, the wrapped portion can be pulled out from the outer side in the width direction of the absorbent body 6C, and the diaper 1 can be correctly worn.
Further, the visual information parts 11L, 12L, 11R, 12R extend from the crotch region 1B to the body front region 1F and the body rear region 1R. Here, in the worn state, the belts 2L, 2R are attached to the front panel 2F, and thereby the body front region 1F and the body rear region 1R are joined to form a torso surrounding region surrounding the torso of the wearer. In the diaper 1 of the present embodiment, the rubber thread 9ER is disposed in the body rear region 1R, and the trunk surrounding region is stretched in the width direction of the diaper 1 in the worn state. Further, even in the case where the rubber thread 9ER is not arranged, the trunk surrounding area is stretched in the width direction of the diaper 1 in the worn state. In the worn state, the torso-surrounding region constituted by the body front region 1F and the body rear region 1R is stretched in the widthwise outward direction from the widthwise center of the diaper 1, and therefore the visual information portions 11L, 12L, 11R, 12R provided so as to include the body front region 1F and the body rear region 1R can be visually recognized from the outside. When the diaper 1 is worn in a state in which a part of the crotch region 1B including the leg gathers 3AL, 3AR is tucked inside, the visual information portions 11L, 12L, 11R, 12R can be visually recognized as being in a state of being broken in the crotch region 1B. The diaper 1 gives the wearer a sense of incongruity that the visual information portions 11L, 12L, 11R, 12R are interrupted halfway, so that the wearer can recognize that the diaper 1 is in a state where a part of the crotch region 1B is tucked inside. Further, the diaper 1 can be pulled out to the outside by the wearer or the like, and the diaper 1 can be put on a proper wearing state.
The same pattern as the visual information parts 11L, 12L, 11R, and 12R extending in the same direction (extending in the longitudinal direction of the diaper 1) is not provided at other positions of the diaper 1. This makes it possible to make the visual information portions 11L, 12L, 11R, and 12R conspicuous in the diaper 1.
< second embodiment >
Next, the diaper 1 of the second embodiment will be explained. The same members as those of the diaper 1 of the first embodiment are given the same reference numerals, and the description thereof is omitted. Fig. 6 is a plan view of the diaper 1 in an extended state as viewed from the non-skin surface side. In fig. 6, the rubber threads 4C, 8EL, 8ER and the side sheets 8L, 8R are not shown. The visual information portions 13L and 13R are adhesives applied to the sheet members constituting the leg gathers 3AL and 3AR in a predetermined pattern.
In the present embodiment, the predetermined application patterns 13L, 13R of the adhesive applied to the inner surface side of the cover sheet 4 constituting the leg gathers 3AL, 3AR are visual information portions. The predetermined application patterns 13L and 13R as the visual information portions are disposed on both outer sides in the width direction of the absorbent body 6C. The predetermined coating pattern (coating pattern) may be a wave (sine (sin) wave) as in the present embodiment, a cycloid, or a trochoid. The predetermined application pattern may be any pattern that allows the adhesive to be visually recognized from the outside and does not affect the adhesion of the sheet members constituting the leg gathers 3AL and 3 AR. Further, a predetermined application pattern of the adhesive applied to the sheet member constituting the leg gathers 3AL and 3AR may be used as the visual information section.
In the diaper 1 of the present embodiment, the application patterns 13L, 13R as the visual information portions visually indicate whether or not the diaper 1 is worn in a state in which the leg gathers 3AL, 3AR can suppress the side leakage of liquid. The diaper 1 of the present embodiment is worn in a state in which leakage of liquid can be suppressed by the leg gathers 3AL, 3AR, and therefore leakage of liquid from around the legs can be suppressed.
< third embodiment >
Next, the diaper 1 of the third embodiment will be explained. The same members as those of the diaper 1 of the first embodiment are given the same reference numerals, and the description thereof is omitted. Fig. 7 is a plan view of the diaper 1 in an extended state as viewed from the non-skin surface side. In fig. 7, the rubber threads 4C, 8EL, 8ER and the side sheets 8L, 8R are not shown.
In the present embodiment, the plurality of rubber threads 4SL and 4SR forming the leg gathers 3AL and 3AR are visual information portions to which colors are given different from the colors of the other portions of the leg gathers 3AL and 3 AR. The plurality of rubber threads 4SL and 4SR as the visual information portions are disposed on both outer sides in the width direction of the absorber 6C. One of the three rubber wires 4SL and 4SR may be the visual information portion, two of the three rubber wires 4SL and 4SR may be the visual information portion, or all of the three rubber wires 4SL and 4SR may be the visual information portion. In addition, when one to three of the three rubber threads 4SL and 4SR are the visual information portion, a part of the rubber thread may be the visual information portion, or the entire rubber thread may be the visual information portion.
In the diaper 1 of the present embodiment, the rubber threads 4SL and 4SR as the visual information portions visually indicate whether or not the diaper 1 is worn in a state in which the leg gathers 3AL and 3AR can suppress the side leakage of liquid. Further, the inward entanglement that may occur in the leg gathers 3AL, 3AR generally occurs from the widthwise outer sides thereof. In the present embodiment, at least a part of the plurality of rubber threads 4SL, 4SR forming the leg gathers 3AL, 3AR is the visual information portion, and therefore, it is possible to easily determine that the opposite outer sides of the leg gathers 3AL, 3AR are entangled. This makes it possible to easily confirm whether or not a small amount of entanglement of the leg gathers 3AL and 3AR has occurred in the diaper 1. Therefore, it is possible to determine whether or not the diaper 1 is worn with the leg gathers 3AL, 3AR in the correct positions, that is, the diaper 1 is worn with the leg gathers 3AL, 3AR capable of suppressing leakage of liquid, and thus leakage of liquid from around the legs can be suppressed.
< fourth embodiment >
Next, the diaper 1 of the fourth embodiment will be explained. The same members as those of the diaper 1 of the first embodiment are given the same reference numerals, and the description thereof is omitted. Fig. 8 is a plan view of the diaper 1 in an extended state as viewed from the non-skin surface side. In fig. 8, the rubber threads 4C, 8EL, 8ER and the side sheets 8L, 8R are not shown.

As shown in the present embodiment, the visual information portions 15L and 15R may be provided on the outer sides of the leg gathers 3AL and 3AR in the width direction. According to the diaper 1 of the present embodiment, whether or not the leg surrounding regions 10L, 10R are caught inside can be confirmed based on whether or not the visual information portions 15L, 15R are visually recognizable in the worn state. When the leg surrounding areas 10L, 10R are drawn inside, there is a high possibility that the leg gathers 3AL, 3AR are drawn inside. The diaper 1 can make the wearer or the like recognize that the leg gathers 3AL, 3AR are in the state of being rolled inside, based on whether or not the visual information portions 15L, 15R can be visually recognized. Further, the diaper 1 can be pulled out to the outside by the wearer or the like, and the diaper 1 can be put on a proper wearing state.
< fifth embodiment >
Next, the diaper 1 of the fifth embodiment will be explained. The same members as those of the diaper 1 of the first embodiment are given the same reference numerals, and the description thereof is omitted. Fig. 9 is a plan view of the diaper 1 in an extended state as viewed from the non-skin surface side. In fig. 9, the rubber threads 4C, 8EL, 8ER and the side sheets 8L, 8R are not shown.
In the present embodiment, the visual information portions 16L, 16R (indicated by hatching slanted rightward in fig. 9) are disposed between the absorbent body 6C and the rubber threads 4SL, 4SR for forming the leg gathers 3AL, 3AR in the width direction of the diaper 1. The visual information portion 16L is provided on the left side in the width direction, and the visual information portion 16R is provided on the right side in the width direction. The visual information portions 16L and 16R are formed in a straight line shape extending to both longitudinal direction end portions of the diaper 1. Further, the visual information parts 16L, 16R may be provided to extend from the crotch region 1B to the body front region 1F and/or the body rear region 1R. The visual information portions 16L and 16R may be formed in the same manner as the visual information portions 11L and 11R.
As shown in the present embodiment, the visual information portions 16L, 16R may be provided between the absorbent body 6C and the leg gathers 3AL, 3AR in the width direction of the diaper 1. According to the diaper 1 of the present embodiment, whether or not the leg gathers 3AL, 3AR are entangled inside can be confirmed based on whether or not the visual information portions 16L, 16R are visually recognizable in the worn state. The diaper 1 can make the wearer or the like recognize that the leg gathers 3AL, 3AR are in the state of being rolled inside, based on whether or not the visual information portions 16L, 16R can be visually recognized. Further, the diaper 1 can be pulled out to the outside by the wearer or the like, and the diaper 1 can be put on a proper wearing state.
< modification example I >
Next, a diaper 1 according to a modification will be described. The same members as those of the diaper 1 of the first embodiment are given the same reference numerals, and the description thereof is omitted. Fig. 10 is a plan view of the diaper 1 in an extended state as viewed from the non-skin surface side. In fig. 10, the rubber threads 4C, 8EL, 8ER and the side sheets 8L, 8R are not shown.
In the present modification, the visual information portions 17L, 17R are provided on both outer sides in the width direction of the diaper 1. The visual information portion 17L is provided on the left side in the width direction of the diaper 1, and the visual information portion 17R is provided on the right side in the width direction. The visual information portions 17L and 17R are formed in a straight line shape extending to both longitudinal direction end portions of the diaper 1. The visual information portions 17L and 17R are overlapped with the rubber threads 4SL and 4SR for forming the leg gathers 3AL and 3AR in the thickness direction of the diaper 1. The visual information portions 17L, 17R are given a color (e.g., red, yellow) different from the other portions of the leg gathers 3AL, 3AR, and are provided in the leg gathers 3AL, 3 AR. In the present modification, the visual information portions 17L, 17R are formed by providing a color (for example, red, yellow) different from the other portions of the leg gathers 3AL, 3AR on the outer surface side of the cover sheet 4 for forming the outer surface of the diaper 1.
In the present modification, the visual information portions 17L and 17R are formed to be wider on the body front region 1F side and the body rear region side 1R than in the crotch region 1B. That is, the visual information portions 17L and 17R are formed so that both end portions in the longitudinal direction of the diaper 1 are wider than the central portion in the longitudinal direction of the diaper 1. The front body region 1F and the rear body region 1R of the diaper 1 are normally worn in a state stretched in the circumferential direction of the torso of a wearer (wearer). The diaper 1 is configured such that the visual information portions 17L, 17R are formed to have a wide width, whereby the visual information portions 17L, 17R can be easily visually recognized from the outside, and when the diaper 1 is worn with the leg gathers 3AL, 3AR inside, it can be easily recognized that the visual information portions 17L, 17R cannot be visually recognized in the crotch region 1B.
< modification example two >
Next, a diaper 1 according to a second modification will be described. The visual information portions 11L, 11R, 12L, 12R, 15L, 15R, 16L, 16R in the above embodiment and the visual information portions 17L, 17R in the above modification example have different touch feeling from other portions of the diaper 1. For example, when the visual information portion is formed by printing on the cover sheet, the tactile sensation (flexural rigidity, friction coefficient, etc.) of the visual information portion and other portions differs depending on the presence or absence of printing on the cover sheet. When the visual information portion is formed by printing on the base sheet 5, the tactile sensation (bending rigidity, etc.) differs depending on the presence or absence of printing and the presence or absence of an adhesive (hot melt adhesive). Thus, when the diaper 1 is worn with the leg gathers 3AL and 3AR being inside, the diaper 1 can be touched from the outside to recognize that the visual information portion is curved in the crotch region 1B in a tactile sense. Further, when the diaper 1 is worn in a state in which the leg gathers 3AL, 3AR are put inside, the diaper 1 can give the wearer a feeling of incongruity in touch, allowing the wearer to recognize that the visual information portion is bent in the crotch region 1B.
< other embodiment >
Next, other embodiments will be described. The visual information part may extend from the end of the front body region 1F on the crotch region 1B side to at least the end of the rear body region 1R on the crotch region 1B side. In the case of a belt-type diaper, the visual information portion may be provided so as to extend from the end of the belt 2L, 2R on the crotch region 1B side to the end of the front panel 2F on the crotch region 1B side. When the outer surface of the cover sheet 4 has a pattern visually recognizable from the outside, the visual information portion may be formed in a direction, shape, or the like different from the extending direction of the pattern.
While the belt-type diaper is shown in the above-described embodiment, a pants-type diaper and other absorbent articles of various forms may be applied. For example, in the case of a pants-type diaper, the visual information portion may be formed to extend from the crotch lower end on the abdomen side of the waist gather to the crotch lower end on the back side of the waist gather. In addition, in a worn state of the pants-type diaper, the front body region and the rear body region are joined to form a torso surrounding region, and the torso surrounding region is stretched in the width direction of the diaper in the worn state.
