The following describes in more detail embodiments of the present invention with reference to the schematic drawings. Advantages and features of the present invention will become apparent from the following description and claims. It is to be noted that the drawings are in a very simplified form and are not to precise scale, which is merely for the purpose of facilitating and distinctly claiming the embodiments of the present invention.

As shown in the drawings, the computer devices 10,20 of the present invention are installed on a desk, and the system functions thereof provide operational use, and the body thereof can also be used as a partition structure of an office area. The front panel 125 is located on a side of the housing 120 facing a user, which is typically a side on which a screen (not shown) is mounted.
Two sides of the front panel 125 are respectively adjacent to the first side plate 123 and the second side plate 124. The back panel 126 is located on the opposite side of the front panel 125. The first side plate 123, the second side plate 124, the front panel 125 and the rear panel 126 surround an inner space a 0. The housing 120 may have a flat shape to facilitate use as a compartment structure.
The chassis 120 has a motherboard carrier 127 and a partition structure 128 (e.g., a partition). The partition structure 128 is located in the internal space a0, extends from the first side plate 123 to the second side plate 124, and substantially divides the internal space a0 of the chassis 120 into a first portion a1 and a second portion a2 along a vertical direction.

In one embodiment, the partition structure 128 between the first portion A1 and the second portion A2 has an opening 1282 therein. The power unit 160 is electrically connected to the motherboard 140 through the opening 1282 to provide power for the operation of the motherboard 140. In addition, the power unit 160 is connected to the commercial power through a power line 162 to obtain power. The power line 162 may extend outward through a lower edge of the housing 120.
In the present embodiment, the second portion a2 presents a cylindrical space, but is not limited thereto. The second portion a2 may also exhibit a semicircular cylindrical space, a triangular cylindrical space, a quadrangular cylindrical space, etc., depending on the separation design.
In one embodiment, the second portion a2 can accommodate the power unit 160, and can also accommodate power lines or other wires according to actual requirements, so as to avoid the wires from being exposed, and make the office space more compact.
In one embodiment, the first side plate 123 of the chassis 120 has a port 1232. The port 1232 is electrically connected to the motherboard 140, and can be used to connect the expansion module 14 shown in fig. 1 and 2 to expand the functions of the host module 100.
In the above embodiment, the port 1232 may be a Universal Serial Bus (USB) port, a video output port, an audio output/input port, etc. A usb port is illustrated.
In one embodiment, the port 1232 may be a port with power supply capability. In other embodiments, the port 1232 may be a port with only signal transmission function. In one embodiment, the second side panel 124 may also have ports to provide more expansion options.
The host module 100 of the present embodiment is provided with a motherboard 140 on one side of the motherboard carrier 127. But is not so limited. In other embodiments, the host module 100 may have two motherboards 140 respectively disposed on two sides of the motherboard carrier 127. The two main boards 140 can be powered by the same power supply unit 160. Thus, the host module 100 can be used by two users at the same time.
In one embodiment, the host module 100 has a stand 129. The stand 129 is disposed under the casing 120 to stably stand the host module 100 on the desk. The stand 129 can be detachably mounted on the lower edge of the chassis 120 by mechanical fixing methods such as screw locking, fastening, and the like. The user can select different types of foot rests according to the requirements.
Fig. 5 is a diagram of a host module 200 according to a second embodiment of the present invention. The main difference between the host module 200 of the present embodiment and the host module 100 of fig. 3 is that the first side plate 123 of the chassis 120 of the present embodiment has a power supply socket 2234 besides the port 1232.
In one embodiment, the port 1232 is located on the first side plate 123 corresponding to a motherboard (not shown) inside the chassis 120, and the power socket 2234 is located on the first side plate 123 corresponding to a power unit (not shown) inside the chassis 120. The power supply socket 2234 is electrically connected to the power supply unit, and the power supply unit obtains electric energy to supply power to the outside.
If the expansion module 14 or other host module 12 has a power connector corresponding to the power supply socket 2234, it can be plugged into the power supply socket 2234 to obtain power supply. In one embodiment, the power outlet 2234 can be an ac outlet. But is not so limited. In one embodiment, the power supply socket may also be a dc power socket. In one embodiment, a second side plate (not shown) on the opposite side of the first side plate 123 may also be provided with a power supply socket to provide more connection options.
The host module 200 of the present embodiment has a port 1232 and a power supply socket 2234 to meet the installation requirements of different expansion modules 14. For example, some expansion modules 14 (e.g., lighting modules) only need to be connected to the power socket 2234 for power supply, and do not need to be connected to the port 1232. Some expansion modules 14 (e.g., storage modules) only need to be connected to port 1232 and powered from port 1232, and do not need to be connected to power outlet 2234.
Fig. 6 is a diagram of a host module 300 according to a third embodiment of the present invention. The main difference between the host module 300 of the present embodiment and the host module 100 of fig. 4A lies in the dividing manner of the internal space B0 of the chassis 320 and the power supply unit 360.
Compared to the embodiment of fig. 4A in which the partition structure 128 divides the internal space a0 of the chassis 120 into the first portion a1 and the second portion a2, the partition structure 328 divides the internal space B0 of the chassis 320 into the first portion B1, the second portion B2 and the third portion B3 along the vertical direction.
In one embodiment, the first portion B1 is located at the middle of the chassis 320 for receiving the motherboard 340. The second portion B2 is located below the first portion B1 to accommodate the power supply unit 360. The third portion B3 is located above the first portion B1 as a heat dissipation space. The second portion B2 and the third portion B3 are both connected to the first portion B1.
The third portion B3 extends from the first side plate 323 to a second side plate (not shown) on the opposite side of the first side plate 323 to form a heat dissipation air duct. The first side plate 323 has a port 3232 therein.
In one embodiment, the housing of the chassis 320 has a plurality of heat dissipation holes 3202 at the upper edge thereof, i.e., corresponding to the third portion B3. In one embodiment, as shown in the figure, the host module 300 further includes a heat dissipation fan module 370 disposed on the third portion B3 to improve heat dissipation efficiency.
Compared to the embodiment of fig. 4A, the power unit 160 has a function of supplying power to the motherboard 140, and the power unit 360 of this embodiment has a function of supplying power to the power socket 3602 in addition to supplying power to the motherboard 340.
As shown in fig. 6, the power supply unit 360 is elongated and has an outer shape substantially corresponding to the outer shape of the second part B2. The end face of the power unit 360 has a power supply socket 3602 for supplying power to the outside. When the power unit 360 is disposed in the second portion B2, an end surface of the power unit 360 extends to the first side plate 323, so that the power supply socket 3602 is exposed.
Fig. 7 is a diagram of a host module 400 according to a fourth embodiment of the present invention. As shown, compared to the host module 100 shown in fig. 3, the host module 400 of the present embodiment has a screen support bracket 470, and the screen support bracket 470 includes a lower portion 472 and an upper portion 474.
The lower portion 472 extends from the foot rest 129 along the back panel 126 of the housing 120 to the top edge of the housing 120, and the upper portion 474 extends from the top edge of the housing 120 toward the user.
The screen 18 is secured to the end 474a of the upper part 474. In this way, the screen 18 can be disposed in front of the front panel 125 of the housing 120. The screen 18 can be electrically connected to the motherboard 140 in the chassis 120 through the screen support 470 to obtain the display signal, and can be electrically connected to the power unit 160 in the chassis 120 through the screen support 470 to obtain the power supply.
The screen support 470 allows the screen 18 to be positioned as close as possible to the front panel 125 of the housing 120, which helps to increase the distance between the user and the screen 18, thereby solving the problem of insufficient desk depth.

the partition structure is positioned in the inner space, extends from the first side plate to the second side plate, and divides the inner space into a first part and a second part;
the main board is arranged on the first part; and
and the power supply unit is arranged on the second part and is electrically connected with the mainboard.
2. The host module of claim 1, wherein the first side plate has a port, the port being electrically connected to the motherboard.
3. The host module of claim 1, further comprising a foot rest secured to the underside of the chassis.
4. The host module of claim 1, wherein the partition structure has an opening through which the power supply unit is electrically connected to the motherboard.
5. The host module of claim 1, wherein the first side plate has a power supply socket, the power supply socket being electrically connected to the power supply unit.
6. The host module of claim 1, wherein an end face of the power supply unit extends to the first side plate, and the end face has a power supply socket.
7. The host module of claim 1, wherein the second portion is located below the first portion.
8. The host module of claim 1, wherein the interior space is divided into the first portion, the second portion, and a third portion by the partition structure.
9. The host module of claim 8, wherein the third portion extends from the first side plate to the second side plate.
10. The host module of claim 8, further comprising a heat sink fan module disposed in the third portion.
11. The host module of claim 8, wherein the housing of the chassis has a plurality of louvers at locations corresponding to the third portion.
12. A computer device, comprising:
a host module, comprising:
a chassis, comprising:
a first side plate;
a second side plate facing the first side plate;
the front panel is provided with two side edges which are respectively adjacent to the first side plate and the second side plate;
a back panel located on an opposite side of the front panel, wherein the first side panel, the second side panel, the front panel, and the back panel enclose an interior space; and
the partition structure is positioned in the internal space, extends from the first side plate to the second side plate and divides the internal space of the case into a first part and a second part, wherein the second part is positioned below the first part;
the main board is arranged on the first part; and
the power supply unit is arranged on the second part and is electrically connected with the mainboard;
the first side plate is provided with a port which is electrically connected with the mainboard; and
the expansion module is arranged on the side edge of the host module and is electrically connected with the port.
13. The computer device of claim 12, further comprising a screen disposed on the front panel of the housing.
