9. The housing assembly of claim 8 wherein the end frame is provided with a securing channel for gripping the filter element assembly.

The housing assembly of any of claims 7-9, wherein the filter cartridge support further comprises a support frame disposed about the periphery of the air inlet, the support frame having an inlet, the support body being disposed on the support frame with a gap between a surface of the filter cartridge assembly proximate the inlet and the inlet.
11. The housing assembly of claim 10 wherein said inlet is provided with a baffle connected to said support frame, said baffle being provided with a plurality of air inlet holes in communication with said air inlet.
12. An indoor unit of an air conditioner, characterized by comprising the casing assembly as recited in any one of claims 1 to 11.
13. A kitchen air conditioner characterized by comprising the air conditioning indoor unit of claim 12.
