The plunger for a tampon applicator according to claim 4, wherein a pressing head is further provided at the distal end of the plunger, a snap groove is further provided on the outer surface of the pressing head, the snap groove being capable of communicating with the receiving groove, and a second stopper is further provided on the pressing head, the second stopper being capable of covering at least a partial region of the notch of the snap groove.

6. A tampon product set, characterized in comprising a plunger for a tampon applicator according to any of claims 1-5.

The tampon product set of claim 6, further comprising a barrel having a tampon entrance end and a tampon exit end, wherein an inner side wall of the tampon entrance end is provided with a stopper edge having elasticity, wherein a smallest outer diameter of the inner wall of the stopper edge is larger than a largest outer diameter of the tampon.

8. The tampon product set of claim 7, wherein the inner diameter of the retention rim decreases gradually from the pledget entry end to the pledget exit end.

9. The tampon product set of claim 8, wherein a tampon is further disposed within the conduit.

10. The tampon product set according to any of claims 6-9, wherein said plunger and said barrel are packaged separately from each other.
