The terms of orientation of up, down, left, right, front, back, top, bottom, and the like referred to or may be referred to in this specification are defined relative to the configuration shown in the drawings, and are relative terms, and thus may be changed correspondingly according to the position and the use state of the device. Therefore, these and other directional terms should not be construed as limiting terms.
An indication device according to an embodiment of the invention is described with reference to fig. 1 and 2. According to the utility model discloses an indicating device includes: a back plate 1 comprising opposing first and second sides 11, 12; and at least one light source 21 emitting light from the first side 11 of the back plate 1 towards the second side 12 of the back plate 1. In the illustrated embodiment, the back sheet 1 is shown as a rectangle having opposing first and second sides 11, 12, the first and second sides 11, 12 being the long sides of the rectangle, while the rectangular back sheet 1 further comprises a pair of short sides, namely a first side 13 and a second side 14. The at least one light source 21 comprises a row of juxtaposed light sources 21 arranged at the first side 11 of the back plate, all or part of which emit parallel light substantially along the width direction of the rectangular back plate 1, so as to illuminate the entire or part of the indicating means, so that the indicating means is visible in a dark environment. In alternative embodiments, the back plate 1 may have any desired shape, such as square, circular, oval, triangular, etc. In an embodiment of the present invention, the back plate 1 comprises a planar portion 16 and a reflective slope portion 17 between the first side 11 and the second side 12. The planar portion 16 and the reflective ramp portion 17 are for example bounded by a straight boundary line 15, in alternative embodiments the boundary of the planar portion 16 and the reflective ramp portion 17 may not be a straight line, such as a curved line. The reflective ramp portion 17 is further from the at least one light source 21 at the first side 11 than the planar portion 16. Therefore, the reflecting slope surface portion 17 is disposed at an angle a with respect to the planar portion 16, and light emitted from the at least one light source 21 is diffusely reflected when irradiated on the reflecting slope surface portion 17. By the provision of a reflective ramp portion at the far side of the light source, the overall indicator device is made more uniform in brightness under illumination by the at least one light source 21. On the other hand, in the case where the luminance is uniform, the luminance of the light source can be appropriately reduced, thereby reducing the size of the light source and reducing the overall thickness and manufacturing cost of the indicator apparatus.
As shown in fig. 2, in general, the indicating apparatus shown in fig. 2 may be equally divided into a highlight region a, a middle highlight region b and a low highlight region c according to a distance from the light source 21, and the reflection slope part 17 may be disposed in the middle highlight region b and the low highlight region c or only in the low highlight region c in order to make the brightness of light more uniform. As shown by arrows in fig. 2, the light reflected by the reflective slope 17 diverges in a plurality of directions, and the reflected light is mostly used to enhance the brightness of the low-bright region c, but there may be a part of the light used to compensate for the brightness of the medium-bright region b. The surface roughness of the reflection slope portion 17 should be appropriately controlled so that diffuse reflection occurs when light is irradiated thereon. It is to be noted that the roughness of the reflecting slope parts 17 should not be too low, for example, the reflecting slope parts 17 forming a mirror surface are disadvantageous for increasing the uniformity of light.
In some embodiments, as can be clearly seen in fig. 1, the at least one light source comprises a row of parallel light sources 21 arranged side by side at the first side 11 of the back plate 1. In the case of a rectangular back plate, the row of parallel light sources is usually arranged at the long side and emits light in the direction of the short side, thereby making the optical path relatively small. As shown in fig. 2, the at least one light source 21 may be an LED lamp, which is arranged on the circuit board 2 at the first side 11 of the back plate 1. In other embodiments, other suitable types of light sources may be used. Additionally, there may be a controller 4 at the second side 12 of the back plate 1, the controller 4 being capable of receiving a signal to selectively control a portion of the light sources 21 to be illuminated. For example, in the illustrated embodiment, the back panel 1 has a logo pattern 18 across the planar portion 16 and the reflective sloping surface portion 17, including a middle small person and two side arrow patterns, and the controller 4 can select light sources corresponding to the single side arrow portion and the middle small person to be illuminated, thereby indicating direction, e.g., for directing people flow in a movie theater or the like scene.
In some embodiments, the angle a of the reflective ramp portion 17 to the planar portion 16 may be any angle from 1-90 degrees. In some embodiments, the angle a of the reflective slope part 17 to the planar part 16 may be smaller than 60 degrees, for example, the angle a may be smaller than 45 degrees, thereby achieving a reflective slope part 17 having a larger width. For example, in some embodiments, the angle a between the reflective slope portion 17 and the planar portion 16 may be less than 30 degrees, and more preferably, the angle a between the reflective slope portion 17 and the planar portion 16 may be less than 15 degrees, such as between 5 and 15 degrees. In some embodiments, as best shown in fig. 2, at least one light source 21 may be disposed on the back plate 1 and in close proximity to the back plate 1. The indicating device may further comprise a transparent cover 3 covering the back plate 1, the transparent cover 3 comprising a connection portion 31 corresponding to an edge of the back plate 1 for fixing to the back plate 1. The transparent cover 3 can be mounted to the back plate 1, for example, by a snap connection with connections 31 on both sides. The transparent cover 3 further comprises a middle portion 32, the middle portion 32 of the transparent cover 3 being parallel to the planar portion 16 of the back plate 1 and thereby defining a distance h therebetween2. The distance h2Approximately equal to the thickness of the indicating means. In some embodiments, the height h of the reflective ramp portion1Occupying a distance h between the transparent cover and a parallel section of the planar portion of the backplate 21/6 to 5/6. In some embodiments, the height h of the reflective ramp portion1Occupying the height h of the parallel section of the flat portions of the transparent cover and the back plate 21/3 to 2/3. In some embodiments, the width d of the reflective ramp portion 11/6-5/6 of total width from the first side to the second side of the back plate, e.g., in some embodiments, width d of the reflective ramp portion1In the range of 1/5 to 1/2 of the total width of the first side to the second side of the back-plate. It should be understood that the width, height and relative angle a of the reflecting slope portion 17 can be adjusted by those skilled in the art according to the actual situation, and the factors to be referred to include but are not limited to: indicating device thickness, roughness of reflective slope portion, height of at least one light source, distance from at least one light source and/orThe angle of the at least one light source, etc. According to the test, by using the reflective slope part 17 appropriately set, the luminance of the low bright region c can be improved by 30%, and the luminance of the medium bright region b can be improved by 10%.
The indicating device according to the present invention can be applied to a variety of scenes including, but not limited to, a safe exit, an indication of persons to be evacuated, an indication of floors such as-3 to 44 floors, an indication of special floors, an indication of refuge floors, an indication of interlayers, an access for disabled persons, a fire control room, etc. According to the utility model discloses an indicating device has good luminance homogeneity. Furthermore, according to the utility model discloses an indicating device can select for use littleer light source from this to reduce whole indicating device's thickness, saves the cost.
