Claims (10)

1. A security device for merchandise theft prevention, comprising:
the device comprises a supporting component, a mounting base and a movable cover plate;
a support assembly configured to be able to be used to support a base or merchandise of a factory charging apparatus;
a mounting base configured to operably engage a support surface for supporting a support assembly thereon;
the support assembly includes a cable receiving member configured to be operably associated with the removable cover for confining a cable of a factory charging apparatus within the cable receiving member.
2. The security device of claim 1, wherein said factory charging device is configured to be removably coupled to said security device.
3. The security device of claim 1, wherein the cable receiving member comprises at least one channel configured to allow a cable of a factory charging device to pass through.
4. A security device according to claim 1, comprising a remote power source, said factory charging means being arranged to be connected directly or indirectly to the remote power source and to receive power therefrom.
5. The security device of claim 1, comprising a power output interface and a power cord, wherein the power output interface is connected to the power cord, and wherein the factory charging device is configured to be directly or indirectly connected to a remote power source through the power output interface to provide power to the article of merchandise.
6. A security device according to claim 1, comprising a warning device and a security cable, said security cable being configured to be connected to said article and said warning device for detecting said article connection status.
7. A security device according to claim 6, wherein said alarm device is configured to signal security when said security cable is broken and/or the connection to the article is broken illegally.
8. A security device according to claim 5, including warning means arranged to be provided on the power transmission line between the power output interface and the remote power source.
9. The security device of claim 1, wherein the removable cover includes a first coupling member, the support assembly includes a second coupling member, and the removable cover is configured to couple to the cable receiving member via the first and second coupling members and configured to prevent exposure of the receiving wire in the coupled state.
10. A security device according to claim 1, wherein the mounting base and the support surface are associated by means comprising adhesive and/or fasteners.
