A garbage can comprises a can body (10) with an opening at the top, a can cover (20) for sealing the opening of the can body (10), and a driving mechanism (30), wherein one end of the can cover (20) is hinged with the edge of one side wall body of the can body (10), the driving mechanism (30) drives the can cover (20) to turn around the hinged part to open or close,
