Please refer to fig. 1, which is a schematic structural diagram of a waterproof annular connector according to an embodiment of the present invention. In fig. 1, the waterproof annular connector 10 is applied to a first circuit board 2 and a second circuit board 4, and the connection manner can be also referred to as fig. 2, and fig. 2 is a connection side view illustrating the waterproof annular connector of fig. 1 according to the present invention. In an embodiment, the first circuit board 2 may be a part of a display panel (not shown) and the second circuit board 4 may be a frame disposed on, for example, a wall (not shown), and the male connector 12 disposed on the first circuit board 2 is combined with the female socket 14 disposed on the second circuit board 4, so that the display panel can receive the control signal and the power signal from the female socket 14 through the male connector 12 of the first circuit board 2.
The waterproof annular connector 10 includes a male portion 12, a female portion 14 and a ring member 16. In the present embodiment, the waterproof annular connector 10 is illustrated as a circular ring, and in other embodiments, the waterproof annular connector 10 may also be a ring-shaped body such as a rectangular ring, an even-numbered ring, or an odd-numbered ring.
Referring to fig. 3, a bottom view of the male head of fig. 1 illustrating the present invention is shown. In fig. 2, the male portion 12 shows a first ring-shaped body 122, a third ring-shaped body 124, a first electrode set 126 (a first end 1262 and a second end 1264), a third electrode set 128 (a first end 1282 and a second end 1284), a first slot 1222, a third slot 1242, a fifth slot 1224, and a seventh slot 1244.
The first annular body 122 and the third annular body 124 are both circular rings, and the diameter of the first annular body 122 is larger than the diameter of the third annular body 124. In the present embodiment, the third annular body 124 is stacked above the first annular body 122, such that the third annular body 124 protrudes from the first annular body 122, and the schematic diagram can be seen in fig. 4, which shows a side view of a male head.

A first groove 1222 is formed at an inner periphery of the first ring body 122 to provide a first end 1262 of the first electrode group 126. The first end 1262 of the first electrode set 126 is also used for being soldered to the first circuit board 2 to receive a control signal and/or a power signal (not shown) from the first circuit board 2.
In the third annular body 124, in addition to the above-mentioned seventh groove body 1244 formed at the outer peripheral edge thereof, a third groove body 1242 is also formed at the inner peripheral edge thereof. The third slot 1242 is used to set the second end 1264 of the first electrode set 126.
In the above description, the number of the fifth slots 1224 and the seventh slots 1244 may be greater than or equal to the number of the third electrode sets 128; and, the number of the first slots 1222 and the third slots 1242 may be greater than or equal to the number of the first electrode groups 126.
In this embodiment, an optional rib ring 1210 is disposed around and protruding from the outer edge of the first annular body 122 and adjacent to the third annular body 124, and is slightly higher than the first annular body 122 and equal to or lower than the third annular body, so that the male plug 12 and the female socket 14 can have a dust-proof or moisture-proof effect after being combined.

The female socket 14 includes a first socket body 142, a second ring-shaped body 144, a fourth ring-shaped body 146, a second socket body 148, a second electrode set 1410, and a fourth electrode set 1412. The first base 142 and the second base 148 can be fixed on the second circuit board 4. The second seat 148, the fourth annular body 146, the second annular body 144 and the first seat 142 are respectively arranged from the central point of the female seat 14 to the outside.
The first base 142 may be made of a non-conductive material, such as plastic. A plurality of grooves 1422 are formed on the outer periphery of the first seat 142, and the grooves 1422 correspond to the second grooves 1442 of the second annular body 144 to expose the second ends 14104 of the second electrode set 1410. The second end 14104 of the second electrode set 1410 is used for being soldered to the second circuit board 4 to receive a control signal and/or a power signal (not shown) from the second circuit board 4. Here, the second electrode set 1410 is disposed between the first base 142 and the second ring-shaped body 144. The second electrode set 1410 provides a floating structure and a first end 14102 except for the second end 14104 exposed in the slots 1422, and the second electrode set 1410 may be made of a conductive material, such as metal. The floating structure is similar to the shape of the english letter S, and is formed between the first end 14102 and the second end 14104 of the second electrode set 1410, when an external force acts on the second annular body 144, the offset between the second annular body 144 and the first seat 142 can be changed by the deformation amount of the deformable floating structure; and, the first end 14102 of the second electrode set 1410 is exposed to the second slot 1442 for transmitting the control signal and/or the power signal from the second circuit board 4, and the second slot 1442 is disposed corresponding to the seventh slot 1244 of the third annular body 124 of fig. 3.
The second base 148 can be made of a non-conductive material, such as plastic. A plurality of grooves 1482 are formed in the inner periphery of the second seat 148 at the bottom of the second seat 148, and the second ends 14124 of the fourth electrode group 1412 are exposed from the grooves 1482. The second end 14124 of the fourth electrode set 1412 is adapted to be soldered to the second circuit board 4 for receiving control signals and/or power signals (not shown) from the second circuit board 4. A fourth electrode group 1412 is disposed between the second seat 148 and the fourth annular body 146. In addition to the second end 14124 of the fourth electrode set 1412, the fourth electrode set 1412 further provides a floating structure and a first end 14122. the material of the fourth electrode set 1412 may be a conductive material, such as a metal. The floating structure is shaped like an english letter S and is formed between the first end 14122 and the second end 14124 of the fourth electrode set 1412, and when an external force acts on the fourth ring-shaped body 146, the amount of offset between the fourth ring-shaped body 146 and the second seat 148 can be changed by the amount of deformation of the deformable floating structure; the first end 14122 of the fourth electrode set 1412 is exposed to the fourth slot 1462 for transmitting control signals and/or power signals from the second circuit board 4, and the fourth slot 1462 is disposed corresponding to the third slot 1242 of the third annular body 124 of fig. 3.

1. A waterproof annular connector is applied to a first circuit board and a second circuit board, and is characterized by comprising:
a male connector for connecting the first circuit board, the male connector having a first annular body, a third annular body, a first electrode set and a third electrode set, the third annular body being stacked on the first annular body;

4. The waterproof annular connector of claim 3 further comprising a cover to shield said floating structure of said second electrode set.

The waterproof annular connector of claim 1 wherein the number of the third electrode sets of the first annular body is not less than the number of the first electrode sets of the third annular body and the arrangement of the plurality of third electrodes is symmetrical or asymmetrical to the arrangement of the plurality of first electrodes.
6. The waterproof annular connector of claim 1 wherein the number of the second electrode sets of the second annular body is not less than the number of the fourth electrode sets of the fourth annular body and the arrangement of the plurality of second electrodes is symmetrical or asymmetrical to the arrangement of the plurality of fourth electrodes.
7. The waterproof annular connector of claim 1 wherein the inner edge of the third annular body further comprises a first locating structure and the outer edge of the fourth annular body further comprises a second locating structure, the first locating structure and the second locating structure being configured to allow the male connector to be coupled to the female connector at a predetermined angle.
8. The waterproof annular connector according to claim 1, wherein the annular member further comprises a pressing portion connected to the other end of the elastic portion for being disposed on the second circuit board.
9. The waterproof annular connector according to claim 8, further comprising an outer housing forming a press bead by which the pressing portion is pressed against the second circuit board.
10. The waterproof annular connector of claim 1 wherein said resilient portion forms a wave structure having peaks and valleys to provide the annular member with stretch and compression characteristics.
11. The waterproof annular connector of claim 1 wherein the first annular body further comprises a ribbed ring disposed around an outer edge of the first annular body adjacent the third annular body.
