A locking mechanism of a treadmill handrail column is characterized in that the locking mechanism comprises a locking piece (1), a blocking piece (2), a handrail column turntable (3) and a support (4), the support (4) is used for being arranged on a frame (5) of a treadmill, the locking piece (1) is movably arranged on the support (4) and used for locking or unlocking the handrail column turntable (3), the handrail column turntable (3) comprises a first side surface (31) and a second side surface (32) which are opposite to each other, the first side surface (31) is used for installing the treadmill handrail column (6), the second side surface (32) is rotatably arranged on the support (4), the handrail column turntable (3) is provided with a first locking hole (33) and a second locking hole (34), the first locking hole (33) is used for being matched with the locking piece (1) in a locking way when the handrail column is in a folding state, the second locking hole (34) is used for locking and matching with the locking piece (1) when the armrest column is in an unfolded state, and the blocking piece (2) is movably arranged on the second side surface (32) and used for blocking between the first locking hole (33) and the locking piece (1) when the locking piece (1) unlocks the first locking hole (33).
