目前，公知的饭盒是由盒体和盒盖组成，这样的普通饭盒携带很不方便，需要把饭盒平放在兜里，兜的宽度至少要等于饭盒的宽度，这对人们喜欢拿的小兜来说无能为力；携带这种饭盒，若有晃动，盒内的菜汤很容易溢出，弄脏提兜。
本实用新型的目的是为了提供一种方便的密封饭盒。它可以随意放于兜内，小兜即能装下，携带很方便，菜汤也不会溢出。
本实用新型的目的是这样实现的：该密封饭盒主要由盒体、盒盖、密封圈和压紧钢丝等组成，盒体与盒盖之间设置密封圈在压紧钢丝的作用下紧密结合，达到盒内菜汤不能溢出的目的。

本实用新型的内圈（7）焊接在盒盖（6）的内壁，弹性密封圈（3）嵌装在盒盖（6）的内壁与内圈（7）所形成的圈槽内，挂钩（2）与钢丝座（8）分别焊接在盒体（1）的两侧，压紧钢丝（5）安装在钢丝座（8）上。盒盖（6）与盒体（1）通过密封圈（3）接合，压平压紧钢丝（5）并将其端部挂在挂钩（2）上，使盒体（1）与盒盖（6）紧密结合。盒盖（6）上部形成三道加强筋以增强其刚度。锁紧楔（4）卡在压紧钢丝（5）与盒盖（6）之间，以防压紧钢丝（5）脱开。
