9. The protective garment as claimed in claim 8, wherein said connecting members are engaged with each other by means of hook and loop fasteners, and wherein said connecting members hold said fastening band at an end thereof remote from said engaging ring.

10. The protective garment as in claim 1, wherein said shoe portion is made of a waterproof material.
