a first mounting portion extending from the rear face to the rear and configured to be inserted into a bolt hole of a wheel;
a second mounting portion extending from the back surface toward the back, configured to be inserted into a space between adjacent spokes of the wheel, and provided at an outer side thereof with a catching structure for catching to the back surface of the spoke;
a through hole through the body portion and the first mounting portion configured to receive a fastener to fasten the wheel insert to the wheel via the fastener when the first mounting portion is inserted into the bolt hole of the wheel; and
and a ventilation groove which penetrates the main body part and the second mounting part and is provided for ventilation.
2. The wheel insert of claim 1, wherein the outboard side of the second mounting portion is configured to substantially conform to the outer surface of the spoke with which it is to contact.
3. The wheel insert of claim 1, wherein the second mounting portion extends rearward from a central location of the rear face and is surrounded by an edge portion of the rear face.
4. The wheel insert of claim 1, wherein the second mounting portion extends obliquely rearward from the rear face, obliquely toward the vent slot, such that an inner side face of the second mounting portion is visible from the vent slot on one side of the appearance face.
5. The wheel insert of claim 1, wherein the snap features comprise a first pair of snaps located on opposite sides of the second mounting portion, respectively.
6. The wheel insert of claim 5, wherein the snap features further comprise a second pair of snaps located on the opposite sides of the second mounting portion, respectively.
7. The wheel insert of claim 1, wherein the snap features are positioned such that: the snap feature is not visible from a side of the appearance surface of the wheel insert after the wheel insert is mounted to the wheel.
8. The wheel insert of claim 1, wherein the snap features are positioned such that: the snap-fit structure may avoid brake caliper dynamic envelope interference after the wheel insert is mounted to the wheel.
9. The wheel insert of claim 1, further comprising an adhesive tape located on an edge portion of the back face.
10. A vehicle, characterized in that it comprises a wheel insert according to any of claims 1-9.
