An ecological environment-friendly water collecting irrigation system comprises an irrigation water supply pipe network, a sewage drainage pipe network and a sponge facility overflow port pipe network; the method is characterized in that: the irrigation water supply pipe (1) network comprises a water supply pipe (1), a water taking device (2), a branch pipe (3), a sprinkler head (4) and a drip irrigation device (5); the water inlet end of the water supply pipe (1) is connected with a municipal water pipe network; the water inlet end of the branch pipe (3) is connected to the water supply pipe (1); the upper end of the branch pipe (3) is connected with a sprinkling irrigation head (4); the drip irrigation device (5) is connected with the upper part of the branch pipe (3); the sewage drainage pipe network comprises a drainage pipe (6) and an inspection well (7); a trash basket (8) and an anti-falling net (9) are arranged in the inspection well (7); a floating plate (10) is arranged in the trash basket (8) in a vertically floating manner along with the ascending and descending of the water level in the well; a filter screen (11) is arranged on the floating plate (10).
