The technical solutions in the embodiments of the present invention will be described clearly and completely with reference to the accompanying drawings in the embodiments of the present invention, and it is obvious that the described embodiments are only some embodiments of the present invention, not all embodiments. Based on the embodiments in the present invention, all other embodiments obtained by a person skilled in the art without creative work all belong to the protection scope of the present invention.
It will be understood that when an element is referred to as being "mounted on" another element, it can be directly mounted on the other element or intervening elements may also be present. When a component is referred to as being "disposed on" another component, it can be directly on the other component or intervening components may also be present. When an element is referred to as being "secured to" another element, it can be directly secured to the other element or intervening elements may also be present.
Unless defined otherwise, all technical and scientific terms used herein have the same meaning as commonly understood by one of ordinary skill in the art to which this invention belongs. The terminology used herein in the description of the invention is for the purpose of describing particular embodiments only and is not intended to be limiting of the invention. As used herein, the term "or/and" includes any and all combinations of one or more of the associated listed items.
Unless otherwise defined, terms of orientation such as "upper, lower, left, right, front, rear," and the like, as used herein, refer to the orientation as shown in the drawings. The remaining description, which is not specified with reference to the orientation of the drawings, is described with reference to the direction of gravity.
It should be noted that, since the present invention provides a plurality of matching relationships between the chip holder 100 and the ink cartridge body 200 and the chip 300, the following description of the structure will first use the ink cartridge as a main body, and the matching structure between the chip holder 100 and the ink cartridge body 200 will be clearly described.
Referring to fig. 1 to 6, an ink cartridge according to a first embodiment of the present invention includes a chip holder 100, a cartridge body 200, and a chip 300, wherein: the ink cartridge body 200 has a housing, the chip holder 100 is mounted on the housing of the ink cartridge body 200 and detachably connected thereto, and the chip 300 is mounted on the chip holder 100. When the ink cartridge is mounted to an image forming apparatus such as a printer, the ink cartridge is fixed to a cartridge holding portion of the image forming apparatus in a predetermined manner, and chip contact pins on the cartridge holding portion are made to reliably contact contacts on the chip 300, thereby enabling the ink cartridge to be recognized and driven by the image forming apparatus.
Referring to the coordinate system shown in fig. 1, the x-axis direction in the figure is defined as the width direction of the ink cartridge, the y-axis direction is defined as the length direction of the ink cartridge, and the z-axis direction is defined as the height direction of the ink cartridge; similarly, referring to fig. 2, the y-axis direction is defined as the thickness direction of the holder body 11, the x-axis direction is the width direction of the holder body 11, and the z-axis direction is the height direction of the holder body 11; further, referring to fig. 3 and 4, in the y-axis direction, the side of the cartridge body 200 mounted corresponding to the holder body 11 is a first side portion 21; the two side surfaces of the ink cartridge body 200 in the x-axis direction are a second side portion 22 and a fourth side portion 24, respectively, and the lower surface in the z-axis direction is a third side portion 23.
In addition, the meaning of "adjoining" in the present invention is similar to the meaning of the positional relationship between two faces having a common edge in a polyhedral structure. For example, considering the ink cartridge body 200 as a generally hexahedral structure, the first side portion 21 and the second side portion 22/the fourth side portion 24 and the third side portion 23 are all configured so-called "adjacent". However, in the present invention, the ink cartridge body 200 is not of a regular hexahedral structure, and there may be a bevel or the like at a position of an edge shared between two adjoining side portions, and thus "adjoining" merely defines the relative orientation between the side portions, and does not necessarily require that it satisfy the definition of adjoining in a geometric sense. Similarly, the first side 21, the second side 22, the third side 23, and the fourth side 24 are merely intended to refer to the respective orientations of the ink cartridge body 200.
Example 1
Referring to fig. 2, 5 and 6, the chip holder 100 includes a holder body 11 and a first mounting portion 12, in which: one end of the first mounting portion 12 is fixedly or integrally disposed on one side of the bracket body 11 in the width direction, and the first mounting portion 12 is substantially plate-shaped and extends along a predetermined angle. In the illustrated embodiment, the first mounting portion 12 extends substantially in the thickness direction of the holder body 11. In the assembled state, the holder body 11 is mounted on the first side portion 21 of the ink cartridge body 200, and the first mounting portion 12 is detachably attached to the second side portion 22 of the ink cartridge body 200.
In one possible embodiment, the second side 22 of the ink cartridge body 200 is recessed to form a recess 25 adapted to the first mounting portion 12, the first mounting portion 12 is fitted into the recess 25 in the assembled state, and the outer surface of the ink cartridge where the first mounting portion 12 is fitted is substantially flush with the surface of the ink cartridge body 200 at the non-recessed position after assembly. In the illustrated embodiment, the first mounting portion 12 is an irregularly shaped plate-like structure, and the shape of the recess 25 is also adapted to the irregular groove structure of the contour of the first mounting portion 12.
Among the relevant prior art, the chip support is direct more and the front side of ink horn body (corresponding to the utility model discloses well first lateral part 21's position) installation location, because the area of contact of being connected between chip support and the ink horn body is less, connects the steadiness not good. In contrast, in the structure of the chip holder 100, the first mounting portion 12 and the second side portion 22 of the ink cartridge body 200 are connected, so that the chip holder 100 and the ink cartridge body 200 can obtain a larger contact area, and the connection and positioning of the chip holder 100 and the ink cartridge body 200 are more reliable.
Referring to fig. 3 and 5, the first mounting portion 12 is provided with an engaging portion 121 and a positioning portion, specifically, the positioning portion is provided as the first positioning portion 122 in the present embodiment, and correspondingly, the second side portion 22 of the ink cartridge body 200 is provided with an engaging hole 251 and a positioning hole 252. In the illustrated embodiment, the engaging portion 121 is an elastic snap structure protruding from the first mounting portion 12, and the first positioning portion 122 is a protrusion having a cross-shaped structure. When the cross-shaped protrusion as the first positioning portion 122 is aligned with the positioning hole 252, the elastic snap structure as the snap portion 121 can be detachably snapped into the snap hole 251, thereby achieving the detachable connection of the first mounting portion 12 and the ink cartridge body 200. Of course, the first positioning portion 122 may have any other configuration, preferably a configuration with a non-rotational contour, such as a triangular prism, a cube, etc., so as to more reliably position the first mounting portion 12 relative to the second side portion 22 of the ink cartridge body 200.
The engaging portions 121 may be provided in two or more, and when the engaging portions 121 are arranged in two as shown, the two engaging portions 121 are not collinear with the first positioning portion 122, so that the relative position between the chip holder 100 and the ink cartridge body 200 is more reliable.
Referring to fig. 3 and 5, the holder body 11 is concavely provided with a positioning notch 112, and the first side portion 21 of the ink cartridge body 200 is provided with a protruding structure at a corresponding position, the protruding structure can be inserted into the positioning notch 112, so as to form a limiting relationship between the holder body 11 and the ink cartridge body 200 on the first side portion 21.

The step portion 26 may be substantially parallel to the holder body 11, such that in the assembled state of the ink cartridge, the rear limiting portion 123 abuts against the step portion 26, and the holder body 11 abuts against the first side portion 21 of the ink cartridge body 200, such that the rear limiting portion 123 cooperates with the step portion 26 on the ink cartridge body 200 to limit the holder body 11 from moving in the direction away from the first side portion 21 of the ink cartridge body 200 along the y-axis direction, thereby ensuring more reliable positioning of the chip holder 100.
Referring to fig. 1 and 6, the holder body 11 has a chip mounting portion 111 for mounting the chip 300, and one end portion of the first mounting portion 12 fixed to the holder body 11 overlaps with a side edge of the chip mounting portion 111 in a height direction of the holder body 11 (i.e., a z-axis direction in fig. 6), so that the first mounting portion 12 is not provided at a portion of the side edge of the chip mounting portion 111, thereby making a portion of the holder body 11 corresponding to the chip mounting portion 111 smaller in width, so that the ink cartridge in an assembled state is smaller in width at both sides of the chip 300, and does not interfere with assembly when mounted on the cartridge holding portion. The first mounting portion 12 may be formed integrally with the holder body 11 or may be formed separately and connected by a connector.
With continued reference to fig. 1 and 6, one end of the first mounting portion 12 connected to the bracket body 11 may extend beyond the surface of the chip mounting portion 111 to form a chip limiting portion 124 on at least one side of the chip mounting portion 111, and when the first mounting portion 12 is disposed on only one side of the bracket body 11, a lateral protruding structure similar to the chip limiting portion 124 may be disposed on a corresponding position of the bracket body 11 to cooperate with the chip limiting portion 124 to limit the positions of both sides of the chip 300. Of course, in other embodiments, all of the chip limiting portions 124 may be provided as protruding structures at corresponding positions of the bracket body 11.
Example 2
