Storage device and recording material cartridge
Technical Field
The utility model relates to a print technical field, especially relate to a storage device and record material box.
Background
Recording apparatuses, such as printers, copiers, and facsimile machines, are used to record information to be recorded on a sheet of paper by a recording material, such as ink, toner, or the like, which is generally stored in a recording material cartridge, which is generally detachably mounted on the recording apparatus. The recording apparatus 3 consumes the recording material to perform the recording operation, the recording material in the recording material cartridge changes, the sensor detects the current consumption amount information of the recording material, obtains the amount of the recording material consumed by the recording apparatus 3 to perform the current recording operation, and transmits the current consumption amount information of the recording material to the recording apparatus 3, and the recording apparatus 3 transmits the current consumption amount information to the storage apparatus 1.
The storage device 1 is connected to the recording device 3, so that the first memory area 11 is also connected in communication with the recording device 3. The first storage area 11 is used to store remaining amount information or total consumption amount information of the recording material. The first storage area 11 is also used to receive the current consumption information transmitted by the recording apparatus 3. And a judgment circuit 13 for receiving the current consumption amount information transmitted from the recording apparatus 3 and judging whether the current consumption amount information is less than or equal to 0.
When the current consumption information is less than or equal to 0, the first storage area 11 is configured to subtract the current consumption information from the remaining amount information to obtain current remaining amount information and store the current remaining amount information so as to cover the remaining amount information, or add the current consumption information to the total consumption information to obtain current total consumption information and store the current total consumption information so as to cover the total consumption information.
In contrast to the prior art, when the current consumption amount information is less than or equal to 0, the storage device considers that the sensor has failed, refuses to update the remaining amount information or the total consumption amount information of the recording material it stores, the storage device 1 of the embodiment of the present application, when the received current consumption information is less than or equal to 0, the first storage area 11 is used to subtract the current consumption information from the remaining amount information to obtain the current remaining amount information and store the current remaining amount information so as to overwrite the originally stored remaining amount information, or adding the total consumption information to the current consumption information to obtain and store the current total consumption information so as to cover the originally stored total consumption information, therefore, the storage apparatus 1 does not refuse to update the remaining amount information or the total consumption amount information of the recording material it stores due to an accidental malfunction, so that the printer does not disable the recording material cartridge due to an accidental malfunction.
When the current consumption information is greater than 0, the first storage area 11 is configured to subtract the current consumption information from the remaining amount information to obtain current remaining amount information and store the current remaining amount information so as to cover the remaining amount information, or add the current consumption information to the total consumption information to obtain current total consumption information and store the current total consumption information so as to cover the total consumption information. When the current consumption amount information is larger than 0, the current consumption amount information is normal, and at this time, the current remaining amount information or the current total consumption amount information updated in the first storage area 11 is also normal.
When the current consumption information is less than or equal to 0, the current consumption information is abnormal consumption information, and in order to prevent the printer from disabling the recording material cartridge due to an accidental failure, the storage device 1 calculates the received abnormal consumption information, so that the remaining amount information or the total consumption information stored in the first storage area 11 of the storage device 1 is abnormal, and if the information in the first storage area 11 is not corrected, an error with the actual information of the actual recording material amount in the recording material cartridge will be larger and larger, and therefore the storage device 1 needs to correct the abnormal information of the first storage area 11.
Referring to fig. 2, specifically, in order to correct the abnormal data in the first storage area 11, the storage device 1 further includes a second storage area 12, the second storage area 11 stores current correction amount information for correcting the data in the first storage area 11, and the current correction amount information is written in the second storage area 11 when the judgment circuit 13 judges that the current consumption amount information is less than or equal to 0. The second storage area 11 generates current correction amount information from the correction amount information received each time, which is generated from the current consumption amount information.
The correction circuit 14 is connected to the first storage area 11 and the second storage area 12, respectively. When the storage device 1 receives the read current remaining amount information transmitted by the recording device 3, the storage device 1 transmits the corrected remaining amount information to the recording device 3, or when the storage device 1 receives an instruction to read current total consumption amount information transmitted by the recording device 3, the storage device 1 transmits the corrected total consumption amount information to the recording device 3.
The storage apparatus 1 of the present embodiment, when the received current consumption information is abnormal, also solves the problem of data abnormality in the first storage area 11 on the basis of realizing the advantageous effect that the recording apparatus does not disable the recording material cartridge due to accidental failure. The second storage area 12 in the storage apparatus 1 can acquire current correction amount information based on the current consumption amount information, the correction circuit 14 can correct the current remaining amount information based on the current correction amount information to obtain corrected remaining amount information, or can correct the current total consumption amount information based on the current correction amount information to obtain corrected total consumption amount information, so that the corrected remaining amount information transmitted to the recording apparatus 3 by the storage apparatus 1 is made to be close to the actual remaining amount information, or the corrected total consumption amount information transmitted to the recording apparatus 3 is made to be close to the actual total consumption amount information, thereby preventing the recording apparatus 3 from determining a sensor failure due to accidental communication interference, preventing waste of resources due to replacement of a recording material cartridge due to accidental communication interference, and improving the accuracy of the remaining amount information or the total consumption amount information acquired from the storage apparatus 1 by the recording apparatus 3, the satisfaction degree of the user is improved.
Referring to fig. 3, specifically, the second storage area 12 includes a second storage circuit 121 and a conversion circuit 122, and the second storage circuit 121 is used for storing correction amount information. The judgment circuit 13 is connected to the first storage area 11 and the conversion circuit 122, respectively, and is configured to judge whether the current consumption information is greater than 0. The judgment circuit 13 is configured to transmit the current consumption amount information to the conversion circuit 122 when the current consumption amount information is less than or equal to 0. The conversion circuit 122 is connected to the second storage circuit 121, and converts the current consumption amount information into current correction amount information and transmits the current correction amount information to the second storage circuit 121.
Alternatively, referring to fig. 4, specifically, the second storage area 12 includes a second storage circuit 121, and the second storage circuit 121 is used to store correction amount information. The judgment circuit 13 is connected to the second storage circuit 121, and when the judgment circuit 13 receives the consumption amount information and judges that the consumption amount information is less than or equal to 0, the consumption amount information is transmitted to the second storage circuit 121.
Referring to fig. 5 and 6, the calibration circuit 14 includes an acquisition circuit 141 and an arithmetic circuit, which is a subtraction circuit 142 or an addition circuit 143. The acquisition circuit 141 is connected to the first memory area 11 and the second memory area 121, respectively. When the storage apparatus 1 receives a "read remaining amount information" instruction transmitted from the recording apparatus, the acquisition circuit 141 is configured to acquire the remaining amount information from the first storage area 11 and the current correction amount information from the second storage circuit 121, and the arithmetic circuit is configured to calculate the current remaining amount information and the current correction amount information, generate corrected remaining amount information, and transmit the remaining amount information to the recording apparatus; alternatively, when the storage apparatus 1 receives a "read total consumption information" instruction transmitted from the recording apparatus, the acquisition circuit 141 is configured to acquire current total consumption information from the first storage area 11 and current correction amount information from the second storage circuit 121, and the algorithm circuit is configured to operate the current total consumption information with the current correction amount information, generate corrected total consumption information, and transmit the total consumption information to the recording apparatus.
Example two
Referring to fig. 7, the second storage area 12 further includes an accumulation circuit 123. The conversion circuit 122 is connected to the judgment circuit 13 and the accumulation circuit 123, respectively, and the second storage circuit 121 is connected to the accumulation circuit 123. When the judging circuit 13 judges that the current consumption amount information is less than or equal to 0, the converting circuit 122 is configured to receive the current consumption amount information from the judging circuit 13 and convert the current consumption amount information into intermediate correction amount information, which is correction amount information received each time by the second storage area 12, the accumulating circuit 123 is connected to the second storage circuit 121, and the accumulating circuit 123 is configured to add the intermediate correction amount information to the last correction amount information stored by the second storage circuit 121 to generate current correction amount information and store the current correction amount information in the second storage circuit 121 so as to overwrite the last correction amount information. For example, the current consumption amount information is "-2", the last correction amount information is "1", the conversion circuit 122 converts the current consumption amount information "-2" into the intermediate correction amount information "2", and the accumulation circuit 123 adds the intermediate correction amount information "2" to the last correction amount information "1", to obtain the current correction amount information "3". Therefore, in this embodiment, the current correction amount information stored in the second storage circuit 121 is the integrated correction amount information, that is, the current correction amount information is the integrated sum of the plurality of times of abnormal data.
When the storage device 1 receives the instruction of reading the remaining amount information, the correction circuit 14 subtracts the current remaining amount information of the first storage area from the current correction amount information of the second storage area to obtain the actual remaining amount information, and then sends the actual remaining amount information to the imaging device. For example, the last remaining amount information of the first storage area is "100", the current consumption amount information is "-2", the last correction amount information of the second storage circuit 121 is "1", the current remaining amount information obtained by the operation of the first storage area is "102", the conversion circuit 122 converts the current consumption amount information-2 into the intermediate correction amount information "2", the accumulation circuit 123 adds the intermediate correction amount information "2" and the last correction amount information "1" of the second storage circuit 122, and writes the current correction amount information obtained by the addition in the second storage area in an overwriting form, the current correction amount information of the second storage area being "3", the correction circuit 14 obtaining the actual remaining amount information, which should be "102" minus "3" and equal to "99", through the first storage area and the second storage area and sending the actual remaining amount information to the recording apparatus. In this way, the residual quantity increased due to abnormity is converted into residual quantity information which is closer to the actual state, so that the recording device can not only normally execute the operation, but also monitor the more accurate residual quantity information.
By obtaining the intermediate correction amount information according to the current consumption information and processing the preset correction amount information according to the intermediate correction amount information, the current correction amount information can be determined according to the abnormal condition of the current consumption information, so that the current correction amount information corresponds to the current consumption information, the corrected residual amount information obtained through correction is closer to the actual residual amount information, and the normal execution of the recording operation of the recording device is ensured.
Alternatively, referring to fig. 8, the second storage area 12 further includes an accumulation circuit 123, and the conversion circuit 122 is not required. The accumulation circuit 123 is connected to the judgment circuit 13 and the second storage circuit 121, respectively. When the judgment circuit 13 judges that the current consumption amount information is less than or equal to 0, the accumulation circuit 123 receives the current consumption amount information, which is the correction amount information received each time in the second storage area 12, from the judgment circuit 13, and the accumulation circuit 123 adds the current consumption amount information to the last correction amount information stored in the second storage circuit 121 to obtain the current correction amount information and stores the current correction amount information in the second storage circuit 121 so as to cover the last correction amount information. For example, the current consumption amount information is "-2", the last correction amount information is "-1", and the accumulation circuit 123 adds the current consumption amount information "-2" to the last correction amount information "-1", to obtain the current correction amount information "-3".
When the storage device 1 receives the instruction to read the remaining amount information, the correction circuit 14 adds the current remaining amount information of the first storage area to the current correction amount information of the second storage area, obtains the actual remaining amount information, and then sends the actual remaining amount information to the imaging device. For example, the last remaining amount information of the first storage area is "100", the current consumption amount information is "-2", the last correction amount information of the second storage circuit 121 is "-1", the current remaining amount information obtained by the first storage area after the operation is "102", the accumulation circuit 123 adds the current consumption amount information "-2" and the last correction amount information "-1" of the second storage circuit 122, and writes the current correction amount information obtained by adding into the second storage area in an overlapping manner, at this time, the current correction amount information of the second storage area is "-3", the correction circuit 14 obtains the actual remaining amount information through the first storage area and the second storage area and transmits the actual remaining amount information to the recording device, and the actual remaining amount information should be "102" plus "-3" to be equal to "99". The residual quantity increased abnormally is converted into the residual quantity information which is closer to the actual state in the mode, so that the recording device can normally execute operation and can monitor the more accurate residual quantity information, furthermore, a conversion circuit is not needed, and the internal circuit structure of the storage device is simplified.
Further, the second storage circuit 121 also stores therein a correction amount threshold value, and the second storage area 12 transfers the failure information to the recording device when the current correction amount information is greater than or equal to the correction amount threshold value. When the current correction amount information is greater than or equal to the correction amount threshold, it is indicated that the error of the current consumption amount information detected by the sensor has exceeded the error caused by the accidental communication disturbance, and therefore, failure information is transmitted to the recording device, and the recording device displays sensor abnormality information, for example, "sensor abnormality, please replace the recording material cartridge in time" through the display device.
By setting the correction value threshold, the storage device 1 can effectively distinguish accidental faults of communication and actual faults of the sensor, so that the situation that the printing head is damaged due to idle printing caused by the fact that the difference between the residual amount information obtained by the recording device and the actual residual amount information is larger and larger is avoided.
EXAMPLE III
In the present embodiment, when the determination circuit 13 determines that the current consumption amount information is less than or equal to 0, the conversion circuit 122 acquires the current consumption amount information from the determination circuit 13, converts the current consumption amount information into intermediate correction amount information, and stores the intermediate correction amount information as the current correction amount information in the second storage circuit 121 so as to cover the last correction amount information, which is the correction amount information received each time in the second storage area 12; alternatively, when the judgment circuit 13 judges that the current consumption amount information is less than or equal to 0, the current consumption amount information is sent to the second storage circuit 121, and the current consumption amount information is stored as the current correction amount information in the second storage circuit 121 so as to cover the last correction amount information, which is the correction amount information received each time in the second storage area 12. In this embodiment, the current correction amount information is correction amount information that is a single shot, that is, the current correction amount information is abnormal data that is a single shot.
Referring to fig. 9, the second storage area 12 further includes an erasing circuit 124, and the erasing circuit 124 is connected to the second storage circuit 121 and is configured to erase the data in the second storage circuit 121 after the correction circuit 14 finishes correcting the information in the first storage area 11.
When the storage apparatus 1 receives an instruction sent by the recording apparatus to read "remaining amount information or total consumption amount information of the first storage area 11", the correction circuit 14 calculates information in the first storage area 11 and the second storage area 12 to obtain actual remaining amount information or actual total consumption amount information, and sends information obtained by correction to the recording apparatus and the first storage area 11, respectively, so that the information stored in the first storage area 11 is actual remaining amount information or actual total consumption amount information; or when the storage device 1 receives the next current consumption amount information sent by the recording device, the correction circuit 14 calculates the information in the first storage area 11 and the second storage area 12 to obtain the actual remaining amount information or the actual total consumption amount information, and sends the information obtained by correction to the first storage area 11 respectively, so that the information stored in the first storage area 11 is the actual remaining amount information or the actual total consumption amount information. When the correction of the information in the first storage area 11 is completed, the correction circuit 14 sends a signal indicating "correction completed" to the erase circuit 124, and the erase circuit 124 erases the data in the second storage circuit 121 after receiving the signal, so that the data in the second storage circuit 121 is restored to an initial value, which indicates a value stored in the second storage circuit 121 when the storage apparatus 1 has not received the consumption amount information less than or equal to 0.
Further, only when the current correction amount information in the second storage circuit 121 changes from the initial value, when the storage apparatus 1 receives an instruction sent by the recording apparatus to read "the remaining amount information or the total consumption amount information of the first storage area 11", the correction circuit 14 reads the current correction amount information in the second storage circuit 121, and corrects the information stored in the first storage area 11 according to the current correction amount information to obtain corrected actual remaining amount information or actual total consumption amount information; if the current correction amount information in the second storage circuit 121 is an initial value, the correction circuit 14 does not perform the correction operation when the storage device 1 receives an instruction to read "remaining amount information or total consumption amount information of the first storage area 11" transmitted by the recording device or the storage device 1 receives the next current consumption amount information transmitted by the recording device.
Since the erasing circuit 124 erases the data in the second memory circuit 121 every time the correction circuit 14 performs the correction, the correction circuit 14 performs the correction operation for the current remaining amount information or the current total consumption amount information only when the correction is required, shortening the communication time between the memory device 1 and the recording device.
Referring to fig. 9, the second storage area 12 further includes a number storage circuit 125, the number storage circuit 125 is connected to the erasing circuit 124, and the number storage circuit 125 is used for recording the number of times that the erasing circuit 124 erases the data stored in the second storage circuit 121, so as to generate the correction number. That is, the erase circuit 124 erases the data in the second memory circuit 121 once, the count of the number memory circuit 125 is increased by one, that is, the number memory circuit 125 is used to record the number of times the sensor has failed.
When the number of corrections is greater than or equal to a preset number of corrections, the second storage area 12 transmits failure information to the recording apparatus. It will be appreciated that the second storage area 12 is connected to a recording device. When the number of corrections is greater than or equal to the preset number of corrections, it is indicated that the error of the current consumption information detected by the sensor has exceeded the error caused by the accidental communication interference, and therefore, it is determined that the sensor has failed, the second storage area 12 transmits failure information to the recording device, and the recording device displays the sensor abnormality information through the display device.
By setting the frequency storage circuit 125, the second storage area 12 can effectively distinguish accidental communication faults from actual sensor faults, thereby avoiding the situation that the difference between the residual information obtained by the recording device and the actual residual information is larger and larger, which causes the print head to be damaged by idle printing.
The application also provides a recording device, which comprises a recording main body and a contact end. The contact end is arranged on the recording body and is also used for connecting with the sensor of the recording material cartridge and the storage device 1. The recording main body is configured to receive the current consumption amount information of the recording material transmitted by the sensor and transmit the current consumption amount information to the storage device 1. The recording device may be, for example, an inkjet printer.
It should be noted that the contact terminal is electrically connected to the recording main body, and further, the sensor and the storage device 1 are electrically connected to the recording main body through the contact terminal, and the recording main body can communicate with the sensor and the storage device 1, respectively.
The recording apparatus may further acquire current remaining amount information and current correction amount information and correct the current remaining amount information according to the current correction amount information to obtain corrected remaining amount information, or acquire current total consumption information and current correction amount information and correct the current total consumption information according to the current correction amount information to obtain corrected total consumption information.
