Detailed Description
Please refer to fig. 1 to fig. 4. Fig. 1 is a schematic view of an adjustable latch assembly of the present invention, fig. 2 is an exploded view of the adjustable latch assembly of the present invention, fig. 3 is a schematic view of an internal structure of the adjustable latch assembly of the present invention, and fig. 4 is a schematic view of the adjustable latch assembly of the present invention combined with a door handle. To facilitate the explanation of the internal structure of the adjustable latch assembly 10 of the present invention, the latch barrel 110 is shown in phantom in fig. 3. As shown, the adjustable latch assembly 10 of the present invention includes a latch module 100 and a driving module 200. The latch module 100 includes a latch barrel 110, a latch head 120, a linkage plate 130, and a linkage plate 140. The latch head 120 is movably disposed on the lock cylinder 110 in the axial direction of the lock cylinder 110. The latch head 120 is movable relative to the latch barrel 110 between an extended position P1 and a retracted position P2. When the front end of the latch head 120 is located at the extended position P1, the latch head 120 is used to extend into a groove (not shown) of a door frame to prevent the door from being opened; when the front end of the latch head 120 is in the retracted position P2, the latch head 120 retracts into the latch barrel 110 to allow the door to be opened. The connecting plate 130 is fixedly coupled to the latch head 120 to move in synchronization with the latch head 120. The coupling sheet 140 is clamped on the connecting plate 130. In addition, one end of the linking plate 140 is against the lock cylinder 110. In the embodiment of the present invention, one end of the linking plate 140 is abutted against the concave structure 112 of the latch barrel 110, but the present invention is not limited thereto. In the present embodiment, the latch barrel 110 can also be configured with other types of structures (e.g., ribs) to abut against one end of the linkage plate 140.
On the other hand, the latch module 100 may further include a cover plate 150 and an elastic member 160. The cover plate 150 is fixedly connected to the latch barrel 110 for mounting the adjustable latch assembly 10 to a door. The resilient member 160 is used to provide a resilient force to urge the latch head 120 to move toward the extended position P1.
The driving module 200 includes a housing 210, a driving plate 220, and a plurality of driving members 230, 240 (in the embodiment of the present invention, the driving module 200 includes two driving members, but the present invention is not limited thereto). The housing 210 is connected to the latch barrel 110. The housing 210 is used for accommodating the driving plate 220 and the driving members 230 and 240. The housing 210 includes a first cover 212 and a second cover 214 disposed on opposite sides of the housing 210. The driving plate 220 is movably disposed on the housing 210 along the axial direction of the latch barrel 110, and one end of the driving plate 220 abuts against the linking plate 140. Each driving member 230, 240 is formed with a driving shaft hole 232, 242 for engaging with a driving shaft 310 (in the embodiment of the present invention, the driving shaft hole 232 is engaged with the driving shaft 310, but the present invention is not limited thereto). The driving shaft 310 is connected at both ends thereof to the inner handle 320 and the outer handle 330 of the door, respectively. Because of the different distances between the axes of rotation of the drive shaft apertures 232, 242 and the latch head 120, the adjustable latch assembly of the present invention can allow the drive shaft 310 to be selectively engaged with one of the drive shaft apertures 232, 242 to correspond to different latch mounting locations, such as different handle mounting apertures on a door. On the other hand, the first cover plate 212 and the second cover plate 214 are respectively formed with openings 213 and 215 corresponding to the driving shaft holes 232 and 242 of the driving members 230 and 240, so as to allow the driving shaft 310 to pass through.
Please refer to fig. 5, and also refer to fig. 1 to 4. Fig. 5 is a schematic view of the adjustable latch assembly of the present invention before and after being driven by the drive shaft. For convenience of illustration of the corresponding positions of the components of the adjustable deadbolt assembly 10 of the present invention, the positions of the associated components, such as the drive plate 220 and the drive members 230, 240, are shown separately in fig. 5. When the user rotates the inner handle 320 or the outer handle 330, the driving shaft 310 drives the driving members 230, 240 engaged therewith to rotate. When the driving members 230, 240 rotate, the driving members 230, 240 push against the pushed structures 222a, 222b of the driving plate 220 to move the driving plate 220 in the axial direction of the latch barrel 110 and away from the latch barrel 110. For example, when the driving shaft 310 drives the driving member 230 to rotate, the driving member 230 pushes against the pushed structure 222a of the driving plate 220 to move the driving plate 220 along the axial direction of the latch barrel 110; when the driving member 240 rotates, the driving member 240 pushes against the pushed structure 222b of the driving plate 220 to move the driving plate 220 along the axial direction of the latch barrel 110. When the driving plate 220 moves along the axial direction of the latch barrel 110, one end of the driving plate 220 pulls the interlocking plate 140, so that the interlocking plate 140 swings around the concave structure 112 of the latch barrel 110 as a fulcrum. When the linkage plate 140 deflects, the linkage plate 140 pulls the connection plate 130 in the axial direction of the lock cylinder 110 to further move the latch head 120 relative to the lock cylinder 110 from the extended position P1 to the retracted position P2. So that the user can open the door.
According to the above configuration, the present invention utilizes the lever mechanism between the driving plate 220, the linkage plate 140 and the connecting plate 130 to move the latch head 120, and the moving distance of the driving plate 220 is less than the moving distance of the connecting plate 130. The adjustable latch assembly 10 of the present invention thus allows a user to rotate the inner handle 320 or the outer handle 330 by a small angle to open the door. In one embodiment of the present invention, when the latch head 120 moves relative to the latch barrel 110 from the extended position P1 to the retracted position P2, the rotational angle of the driving members 230, 240 is 28 degrees, while the rotational angle of the handles 320, 330 is between 28 degrees and 33 degrees due to component tolerances; in another embodiment of the present invention, when the latch head 120 moves from the extended position P1 to the retracted position P2 relative to the latch barrel 110, the rotational angle of the driving members 230, 240 is 45 degrees, and the rotational angle of the handles 320, 330 is between 45 degrees and 50 degrees due to the component fitting tolerance, but the present invention is not limited thereto.
On the other hand, when the user releases the inner handle 320 or the outer handle 330, the inner handle 320 or the outer handle 330 is rotated to the initial position. Furthermore, since the elastic element 160 is abutted against the latch head 120 and the housing 210, the elastic force of the elastic element 160 pushes the latch head 120 to move the latch head 120 from the retracted position P2 to the extended position P1.
In addition, the latch module 100 may further include an anti-theft latch 170 and an anti-theft latch spring 180. The anti-theft latch 170 is used to prevent the latch head 120 from being moved by an external tool to retract to the retracted position P2. For example, when the anti-theft bolt 170 is pressed, the bolt head 120 cannot be retracted to the retracted position P2. The operation of the deadbolt 170 is well known and will not be described. The latch spring 180 is used to provide a spring force to the latch 170 so that the latch 170 can return to the initial position.
Compared with the prior art, the latch module of the adjustable latch assembly of the present invention has a lever mechanism to allow the user to rotate the handle by a small angle to open the door. Furthermore, the utility model discloses the drive module of hasp combination with adjustable has a plurality of drive shaft holes that set up in the different positions, in order to let the utility model discloses hasp combination with adjustable can arrange the tool to lock of different mounted positions. Therefore, the adjustable lock latch combination of the utility model can simultaneously have a small-angle driving mechanism and an adjustable installation mechanism.
The above description is only a preferred embodiment of the present invention, and all equivalent changes and modifications made according to the claims of the present invention should be covered by the present invention.
