The cover 15 is openably and closably mounted to the top 106 of the housing 10. In some embodiments, the cover 15 is smaller and may be mounted to other portions of the top 106, which together form the top 106. In some embodiments, the cover 15 is larger and may be mounted to the rear wall 102 near the top 106, forming the top 106 alone or forming a substantial portion of the top 106. The cover 15 is movable relative to the housing 10 between an open position and a closed position, wherein the cover 15 in the open position allows the top opening of the housing 10 to be opened for access to and from the housing 10, and wherein the cover 15 in the closed position (shown in the figures) closes the top opening of the housing 10 against the cover 15 to protect the contents of the housing 10. The locker 1 is dimensioned such that it can be mounted at the front 21 of the rear pickup compartment 2 with the roof 106 facing upwards (as shown in fig. 2), and can be mounted at the rear 22 of the rear pickup compartment 2 with the roof 106 facing backwards (as shown in fig. 4) after turning.
In some embodiments, the box 10 is a structure with a long top and a short bottom, and the length L1 of the upper box portion 111 is greater than the length L2 of the lower box portion 112, wherein the length is the dimension between the first side wall 103 and the second side wall 104 of the box 10. Thus, at least one of the first and second side walls 103 and 104 of the case 10 is recessed inward at a lower portion. In the illustrated embodiment, the first sidewall 103 and the second sidewall 104 are symmetrical structures that are both recessed inwardly at the lower portion in substantially the same manner. In some embodiments, the width of the enclosure 10 is uniform along its lengthwise direction (length). A first connector 121 and a second connector (not visible in the figures) are respectively provided on the first side wall 103 and the second side wall 104 for cooperating with corresponding connecting structures on both sides of the rear compartment 2 to connect and relatively fix the storage box 1 to the rear compartment 2. The first and second connectors 121 and 104 may be disposed at positions opposite to each other on the first and second sidewalls 103 and 104, respectively. In the illustrated embodiment, the first and second connectors 121, 104 may be disposed on the first and second sidewalls 103, 104, respectively, proximate the top 106 and proximate the rear wall 102.
The first and second connectors 121 and 121 may be respectively engaged with the first and second coupling structures on both sides of the front portion 21 when the storage box 1 is mounted at the front portion 21 of the rear compartment 2, and respectively engaged with the third and fourth coupling structures on both sides of the rear portion 22 when the storage box 1 is mounted at the rear portion 22 of the rear compartment 2. As shown in fig. 1 and 2, the storage case 1 can be conveniently and stably mounted at the front portion 21 of the rear compartment 2 by the engagement of the first and second coupling members with the corresponding coupling structures on both sides of the front portion 21 of the rear compartment 2 and the clearance engagement between the first and second side walls 103 and 104 of the case 10 and both sides of the front portion 21 of the rear compartment 2, respectively. The front wall 101 of the storage box 1 attached to the front portion 21 of the rear compartment 2 faces rearward, and the top 106 and the lid 15 face upward.
To better achieve the clearance fit, one or more protrusions 131 may be provided on at least one of the first and second sidewalls 103, 104. The provision of the projection 131 can reduce the distance/clearance between the portions corresponding to the side portions of the rear compartment 2, and the size of the clearance can be adjusted and defined by adjusting the thickness of the projection 131 to better achieve clearance fit. The position of the projection 131 may correspond to the corresponding recesses or the like on both sides of the rear compartment 2. In the illustrated embodiment, two bumps 131 are provided on each of the first and second sidewalls 103, 104 near the front arm 101 and near the bottom 105.
As shown in fig. 3 and 4, after the storage box 1 is turned, the storage box 1 can be conveniently and stably mounted at the rear portion 22 of the rear compartment 2 by the cooperation of the first and second coupling members with the corresponding coupling structures on both sides of the rear portion 22 of the rear compartment 2. The front wall 101 of the storage box 1 mounted to the rear portion 22 of the rear compartment 2 faces upward, and the top 106 and the box cover 15 face rearward, so that it is convenient for a car owner to open the storage box 1 by opening only the rear compartment tailgate 23 without opening a pickup rear compartment cover (not shown).
There is no limitation on the number of the connecting members disposed on the first side wall 103 and/or the second side wall 104, and two or more connecting members may be disposed on at least one of the first side wall 103 and the second side wall 104 as needed. For example, as shown in fig. 3, two connectors may be disposed on each of the first and second sidewalls 103 and 104 of the storage compartment 1 near the top 106. Take two connectors (the first connector 121 and the third connector 123) on the first side wall 103 as an example, wherein the first connector 121 is close to the rear wall 102, and the third connector 123 is close to the front wall 101. Similarly, two connectors (a second connector and a fourth connector) on the second sidewall 104 may be provided correspondingly. In some embodiments, when the storage box 1 is installed in the front portion 21 of the rear compartment 2, only the first and second connectors 121 and 123 may be engaged with the coupling structures on both sides of the front portion 21, while the third and fourth connectors are left unused, and when the storage box 1 is installed in the rear portion 21 of the rear compartment 2, all four connectors may be engaged with the coupling structures on both sides of the rear portion 22, generally depending on the number and arrangement of the coupling structures on the rear compartment 2.
The aforementioned connecting member (the first connecting member 121, etc.) on the storage box 1 and the connecting structure on the rear compartment 2 may be any forms that can cooperate with each other to achieve the connection and/or fixation of the storage box 1 and the rear compartment 2. In some embodiments, the connector comprises a hook and the connecting structure comprises a hook ring that mates with the hook. An exemplary form of the connector and corresponding connecting structure is shown in fig. 5 by way of example of the first connector 121, wherein the connector 121 includes a mounting base 1211 for fixedly mounting on the side wall 103 or 104 of the storage compartment 1 and a hook 1212 extending from the mounting base 1211, and the corresponding connecting structure of the connector 121 is a hook ring 201 which can be mounted to a corresponding position of the rear compartment 2.
Another aspect of the present invention relates to a pickup including the above pickup storage box. Based on the above disclosure, those skilled in the art can easily obtain a pickup card including the pickup card storage box of the present invention.

5. The pickup truck storage bin of claim 1 wherein the first and second connectors include hooks and the first and second connecting structures include hooks for securing the hooks.

The pickup truck storage bin of claim 1, further comprising a third connector and a fourth connector disposed on each of the first side wall and the second side wall, the third connector and the fourth connector being disposed at opposing positions on each of the first side wall and the second side wall, respectively, and being proximate to the front wall of the bin and proximate to the top of the bin.
7. The pickup locker of claim 1 further including a projection on at least one of the first and second side walls for defining a gap with a corresponding portion of a side of the rear compartment of the pickup.
8. The pickup truck storage bin of claim 1 wherein the front wall of the pickup truck storage bin mounted to the front portion of the rear pickup compartment faces rearward.
9. The pickup truck storage bin of claim 1 wherein the front wall of the pickup truck storage bin mounted at the rear of the rear pickup compartment faces upwardly.
10. A pickup truck characterized in that it comprises a pickup truck rear compartment and a pickup truck storage bin according to any one of claims 1-9.
