The gripper of claim 8, wherein said drive mechanism further comprises a dust enclosure that is extendable or retractable, said dust enclosure, said fixed plate and said retractable plate enclosing a receiving cavity, said drive member, said slider, and said slide rail all being located within said receiving cavity.
10. A grasping apparatus, characterized in that the grasping apparatus comprises:
a second drive mechanism; and
the gripper of any of claims 1-9, wherein the gripper is coupled to the second drive mechanism, and wherein the second drive mechanism drives the gripper to move to insert or withdraw the gripping mechanism of the gripper into or out of an interior cavity of a workpiece.
