3. The drill carriage protection device of claim 2, wherein a protective net of the head-on main protection frame is arranged on the head-on main protection frame.

The drill carriage protection device as claimed in claim 3, wherein the first head-on auxiliary protection frame is removably provided with a first head-on protection plate or a first head-on auxiliary protection net along the portion extending beyond the head-on main protection frame in the lateral direction, and the second head-on auxiliary protection frame is removably provided with a second head-on protection plate or a second head-on auxiliary protection net along the portion extending beyond the head-on main protection frame in the lateral direction.

6. The drill carriage guard of claim 5 wherein the lower surface of the top guard frame is provided with a downwardly extending link adjacent the front side of the top guard frame, the head-on main guard frame being pivotally connected to the link.

The drill carriage protection device of claim 1, wherein the top protection frame comprises a top main protection frame, a first top auxiliary protection frame, and a second top auxiliary protection frame, the top main protection frame having a first side and a second side opposite in the lateral direction, the first top auxiliary protection frame being connected to the top main protection frame and located on the first side of the top main protection frame, the first top auxiliary protection frame being movable in the lateral direction relative to the top main protection frame, the second top auxiliary protection frame being connected to the top main protection frame and located on the second side of the top main protection frame, the second top auxiliary protection frame being movable in the lateral direction relative to the top main protection frame, the head-on main protection frame being connected to the top main protection frame.

The drill carriage guard of claim 7 further comprising a first overhead auxiliary guard frame drive cylinder and a second overhead auxiliary guard frame drive cylinder, the first overhead auxiliary guard frame drive cylinder being disposed on the overhead main guard frame and coupled to the first overhead auxiliary guard frame to drive movement of the overhead auxiliary guard frame, the second overhead auxiliary guard frame drive cylinder being disposed on the overhead main guard frame and coupled to the second overhead auxiliary guard frame to drive movement of the overhead auxiliary guard frame.
