Detailed Description
To illustrate the present invention more clearly, a preferred embodiment is described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings. Referring to fig. 1 to 9, a chain type tool magazine 100 according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention is applied to a horizontal machining center, but not limited thereto. The chain type tool magazine 100 includes a rail 101 and a plurality of supporting bodies 10 pivotally connected to each other to form a chain capable of moving along the rail 101, each supporting body 10 is combined with a tool sleeve 20 capable of being separated therefrom, the tool sleeve 20 has a receiving hole 22 for receiving the tool bar 30 therein, and the tool sleeve 20 is fixed to the supporting body 10 before being unlocked by a locking unit 40 (see fig. 10 and 11). The chain magazine 100 is provided with an unlocking unit 50 and a knife conveying mechanism 60 at one side of the track 101 and corresponding to a knife taking position on the track 101, for convenience of description, the position of the knife case 20 centered on the position shown in fig. 1 is defined as a knife taking position, and the unlocking unit 50 is used for releasing the locking relationship of the locking unit 40 between the support 10 and the knife case 20 at the knife taking position, so that the knife case 20 can be separated from the support 10; the knife transport mechanism 60 is used to deliver the unlocked knife pouch 20 to a knife exchange mechanism (not shown).
The knife conveying mechanism 60 will be described after the specific combination relationship between the carrier 10 and the knife sheath 20 is described, and the locking and unlocking manner between the carrier and the knife sheath is described.
Referring to fig. 10 and 11, the carrier 10 includes a base 12 and two supporting members 14, the base 12 is located in the channel 101a of the rail 101 by a plurality of rollers 16 on the side surface thereof and can move along the rail 101 smoothly; the two supporting members 14 are round rods, one end of each supporting member is detachably fixed to the base 12, and the two supporting members 14 are suspended in parallel. The knife pouch 20 has two through holes 24, and the two through holes 24 are respectively located at two sides of the receiving hole 22 and are received in the corresponding supporting member 14, so that the knife pouch 20 can smoothly slide along the supporting member 14 without turning over. In the aforementioned knife pouch 20, the two circular through holes 24 are matched with the two supporting members 14, which are circular rod bodies, to achieve the purpose of sliding and matching without turning, however, in other embodiments, the supporting members may be polygonal rod bodies, and the through holes correspond to polygonal holes, so that the purpose of sliding and matching without turning the knife pouch can be achieved only by matching one supporting member with one through hole, but if the structural strength is considered, the knife pouch is still configured by matching two supporting members with two through holes. The base 12 of the carrier 10 has a first side hole 12a and a second side hole 12b which do not penetrate the base 12 and are orthogonal to each other; the sleeve 20 has a bore 26.
The locking unit 40 includes a fixing rod 41, a brake rod 42, an urging member 43, a restricting member 44 and a wear-resistant ring 45. Wherein, the fixing rod 41 comprises a shaft 41a and a head 41b connected with one end of the shaft 41a, the other end of the shaft 41a is inserted into the connecting hole 26, the head 41b is exposed outside the knife sheath 20, and a stop part 41c is formed at the connection part of the head 41b and the shaft 41 a; the shaft 41a of the fixing rod 41 may be provided with a screw thread and the connection hole 26 may be a screw hole to be detachably connected to the cutter holder to form a single body, but the fixing rod may be formed integrally with the cutter holder.
The brake lever 42, the pushing member 43, the limiting member 44 and the wear ring 45 are received in the second side hole 12b of the base 12. The brake lever 42 is capable of moving between a locking position PA shown in fig. 9 and an unlocking position PB shown in fig. 13, and includes a large diameter section 42a, a small diameter section 42b and a blocking wall 42c, the small diameter section 42b is located between the large diameter section 42a and the blocking wall 42c, the diameter of the large diameter section 42a is larger than that of the small diameter section 42b, and a joint of the large diameter section 42a and the small diameter section 42b forms a shoulder 42 d. The pushing member 43 provides a pushing force to the braking lever 42 to keep the braking lever 42 moving to the locking position PA, in this embodiment, the pushing member 43 is a spring, one end of the spring abuts against the bottom surface of the second side hole 12b, and the other end abuts against the braking lever 42, preferably, the braking lever 42 has a counter bore 42e for a part of the spring to extend into so that the spring does not deflect. The restricting member 44 is a C-shaped buckle and is engaged with the engaging groove 12C near the opening of the second side hole 12b, and is defined as being located at the locking position PA when the stop wall 42C of the brake lever 42 abuts against the restricting member 44. The wear-resistant ring 45 is made of a wear-resistant material and is sleeved between the outer peripheral surface of the large-diameter section 42a of the brake lever 42 and the hole wall of the second side hole 12b, so that the brake lever 42 can be prevented from directly contacting the hole wall of the second side hole 12b to cause wear.
As shown in fig. 5 and 8, the unlocking unit 50 includes a cylinder 52 and a top 54, the cylinder 52 is fixed on one side of the rail 101 and does not obstruct the movement of the chain, the cylinder 52 has a piston rod 52a capable of moving forward and backward by the pressure change inside the cylinder, one end of the piston rod 52a is connected to the top 54, and the top 54 has a pressing end 54a aligned with the brake lever 42 of the locking unit 40 at the knife-taking position. When the cylinder 52 is not actuated, the contact end 54a of the top 54 is spaced from the exposed end of the brake lever 42.
The above is a description of the coupling relationship between the carrier 10 and the holder 20, and the locking unit 40 and the unlocking unit 50. When the knife pouch 20 is coupled to the carrier 10, one end of the fixing rod 41 on the knife pouch 20 having the head 41b is inserted into the first side hole 12a of the base 12 of the corresponding carrier 10 (see fig. 7), and at the same time, the brake lever 42 is pushed by the pushing member 43 and is stopped at the locking position PA by the stopper 44, and in the above state, the abutting shoulder 42d of the brake lever 42 is just located on the path (see fig. 9) through which the fixing rod 41 is drawn out and abuts against the stopper 41c of the fixing rod 41, so that the fixing rod 41 cannot be drawn out from the first side hole 12a, and thus the knife pouch 20 integrally coupled to the fixing rod 41 can be stably coupled to the carrier 10 and change its position with the rotation of the chain. When the locking unit 40 is to be unlocked, the cylinder 52 is actuated to control the piston rod 52a to be pushed out, as shown in fig. 12 and 13, the pushing member 54 driven by the piston rod 52a pushes the braking lever 42 to move inward and move back to the unlocking position PB by the pressing end 54a thereof, so that the abutting shoulder 42d of the braking lever 42 exits from the path of the fixed lever 41 being pulled out (i.e. the abutting shoulder 42d no longer abuts against the stopping portion 41 c), and the braking lever 42 presses the pushing member 43, so as to separate the knife sheath 20 from the carrier 10, and the head 41b of the fixed lever 41 can pass through the small diameter section 42b of the braking lever 42 without hindrance and separate from the first side hole 12a, so that the knife sheath 20 can be separated from the carrier 10 along the supporting member 14.
The knife conveying mechanism 60 of the present embodiment will be described below. Referring to fig. 1 to 4 and 14 to 16, the knife conveying mechanism 60 includes a saddle 61, a knife sheath block 62, two guiding members 63, an actuating cylinder 64, a clamping unit 65 and two guide rods 66. The saddle 61 is in the shape of a long plate and is transversely fixed on a position on one side of the rail 101 where the movement of the chain is not hindered, the saddle 61 has a long opening 61a, and the unlocking unit 50 is fixed on the saddle 61. The tool holder block 62 is formed by connecting a first side block 62a and a second side block 62b, the first side block 62a is fixed at one end of the saddle 61, and the second side block 62b has an arc-shaped abutting surface 62 c. The two guiding members 63 are round rods with the same diameter as the supporting member 14, and one end of each guiding member 63 is detachably fixed to the first side block 62a and is suspended in parallel, and each guiding member 63 is located on the same axis with the corresponding supporting member 14, and it should be mentioned that a gap is kept between the guiding members 63 and the free end of the supporting member 14, and the gap ensures that the cutter sleeve 20 driven by the chain in operation does not collide with the guiding members 63. The actuating cylinder 64 includes a cylinder body 64a and a displacement member 64b, the cylinder body 64a is disposed on the back surface of the saddle 61, the displacement member 64b is a piston rod, one end of the displacement member 64b is disposed through the cylinder body 64a, and the other end of the displacement member is exposed outside the cylinder body 64a and is connected to a floating joint 64c, and by controlling the change of the internal pressure of the cylinder body 64a, the displacement member 64b can be driven to linearly reciprocate between a first position P1 retracted relative to the cylinder body 64a shown in fig. 3 and a second position P2 retracted relative to the cylinder body 64a shown in fig. 17.
The number of the above-mentioned guides 63 is two, and the purpose is also to allow the holder 20 to slide on the guides 63 without turning over. However, when the supporting member is a single polygonal rod and the through hole of the knife pouch is a polygonal hole, the guiding member is also a single polygonal rod, so that the sliding pair matching can be realized and the knife pouch can not be turned over.
In addition, a first fixing block 67 and a second fixing block 68 are fixedly arranged on the back of the saddle 61, at least one first stopper 69 is arranged on the first fixing block 67, and at least one second stopper 70 is arranged on the second fixing block 68; the first stop 69 and the second stop 70 can be adjusted to lock into the screw hole to change the position of the exposed head of the bolt.
The actuating cylinder 64 is connected to the clamping unit 65 by a floating joint 64c and can drive the clamping unit 65 to synchronously displace. The clamping unit 65 includes a first clamping block 651, a second clamping block 652, two fixing rods 653 and two springs 654. The two fixing rods 653 of the clamping unit 65 are parallel to the guide rods 66, and one end of each fixing rod 653 is fixedly connected to the first clamping block 651, and the other end of each fixing rod passes through the second clamping block 652 and is provided with a stopper 655 formed by a nut, so that the second clamping block 652 can move along the fixing rods 653 again. When the machining center is about to perform a tool changing procedure, the unlocking unit 50 is controlled to drive the pushing member 54 to push the braking lever 42 of the locking unit 40 to move back inwards to the unlocking position PB, as shown in fig. 12 and 13, so that the fixing rod 41 combined with the tool sheath 20 and the braking lever 42 hidden in the supporting body 10 do not interfere with each other. As shown in fig. 17 to fig. 19, the cylinder 64 of the knife transporting mechanism 60 is actuated to drive the displacement member 64b to leave the first position P1, and as the displacement member 64b gradually extends out of the cylinder 64a, the spring 654 releases the compressed energy storage, so that the first clamping block 651 is close to the second clamping block 652, and the knife sheath 20 which is located at the knife taking position and has been unlocked is clamped by the first clamping surface 651a and the second clamping surface 652a, and simultaneously, because one end of the spring 654 abuts against the stop 655 and the other end thereof abuts against the second clamping block 652, the first clamping block 651 and the second clamping block 652 can stably clamp the knife sheath 20. It should be noted that when the top member 54 of the unlocking unit 50 is rotated and retracted after the clamping unit 65 clamps and removes the knife pouch 20, the brake lever 42 is retracted to the locking position PA by the action of the pushing member 43 releasing the compressed energy.

Therefore, the tool changing arm of the tool changing mechanism can smoothly buckle the tool bar 30 on the tool sleeve 20 to execute tool changing operation.
When the tool holder 20 is to be brought back to the original position after the tool changing operation is completed, the displacement member 64b is controlled to move to the first position P1, when the tool holder 20 is disengaged from the guide member 63 and enters the supporting member 14, the free end 653a of the fixing rod 653 will first abut against the first stopper 69, so that the first clamping block 651 stays at the fixed position, however, the displacement member 64b will still retreat to the inside of the cylinder 64a for a short distance due to the design of the movement stroke, so as to drive the second clamping block 652 to retreat relative to the first clamping block 651, thereby increasing the distance between the first clamping block 651 and the second clamping block 652, so that the first clamping block 651 and the second clamping block 652 are restored to the space shown in fig. 4, which is reserved for the tool holder 20 on the chain to pass through. At the same time, the head 41b of the fixed rod 41 on the knife holder 20 is inserted into the first side hole 12a of the base 12 of the corresponding carrier 10, the head 41b guides the brake lever 42 to move back toward the second side hole 12b, and after the head 41b passes through the central axis of the brake lever 42, the pushing force of the pushing member 43 continues to make the abutment shoulder 42d of the brake lever 42 abut against the stopper 41c of the fixed rod 41 again, so as to prevent the knife holder 20 from being released from the carrier 10 improperly.
In summary, the knife pouch and the supporting body of the present invention have good coupling performance through the arrangement of the locking unit therebetween, so that the chain has good carrying effect on the knife pouch, and the knife pouch is free from loosening; secondly, the supporting piece for guiding the knife pouch adopts a general rod body which is matched with the through hole on the knife pouch to pass through, the matching mode solves the defects that the prior track structure must be matched with the outer contour of the knife pouch to make a special channel to increase the processing procedure and the cost expenditure, and simultaneously solves the defect that the prior track structure cannot be suitable for knife pouches with different specifications or different outer contours to be general. In addition, the action of the unlocking unit and the knife conveying mechanism is controlled by a processor, which is not the key point of the improvement of the present invention, and is not described herein again.

Claims (10)
1. A chain type tool magazine comprises a track and a plurality of bearing bodies which are connected in series to form a chain capable of moving along the track, wherein each bearing body is combined with a tool sleeve capable of being separated from the bearing body; the method is characterized in that:
each bearing body comprises a base and at least one supporting piece, wherein the bases of adjacent bearing bodies are pivoted with each other, each base can move along the track, and each supporting piece is connected to the corresponding base;
each knife sleeve is respectively matched with the supporting piece of the corresponding bearing body in a sliding opposite mode; and
a locking unit is arranged between each bearing body and the corresponding knife sleeve, the locking unit can be controlled between a locking state and an unlocking state, when the locking unit is in the locking state, the knife sleeve is combined on the corresponding bearing body inseparably, and when the locking unit is in the unlocking state, the knife sleeve can be separated relative to the bearing body.
2. The chain type tool magazine of claim 1, comprising an unlocking unit disposed at a tool picking position on the rail for unlocking the locking unit to separate the tool sheath from the carrier.
3. The chain type tool magazine of claim 2, wherein the base has a first side hole and a second side hole communicating with each other, the locking unit comprises a fixing rod and a brake rod, the fixing rod is integrally connected to the tool sheath, one end of the fixing rod can be inserted into the first side hole of the base, and the brake rod is inserted into the second side hole of the base and can move between a locking position and an unlocking position; the unlocking unit comprises a top piece, and the top piece is controlled to push the brake rod to move from the locking position to the unlocking position; the brake rod located at the locking position is abutted to the fixed rod, so that the fixed rod cannot be drawn out from the first side hole, and the brake rod located at the unlocking position enables the fixed rod to be drawn out from the first side hole.

The chain tool magazine of claim 3, wherein the locking unit comprises an ejector disposed in the second side opening of the base, the ejector providing an ejector force to the brake lever to maintain the brake lever moving to the locking position; the brake rod comprises a large-diameter section and a small-diameter section, the diameter of the large-diameter section is larger than that of the small-diameter section, and a joint of the large-diameter section and the small-diameter section forms a shoulder supporting part; the fixing rod comprises a rod body and a head part connected with one end of the rod body, the diameter of the head part is larger than that of the rod body, and a stopping part is formed at the joint of the head part and the rod body; when the knife sleeve is combined with the bearing body and the brake lever is positioned at the locking position, the abutting shoulder part abuts against the stopping part of the fixed rod, and when the brake lever is positioned at the unlocking position, the abutting shoulder part leaves the path of the fixed rod which is drawn out.

The chain tool magazine of any one of claims 1 to 4, wherein the number of the at least one support member is two, and the two support members are round rods; each knife sleeve is provided with a sleeve hole and two through holes, the sleeve hole is used for inserting a knife bar, and the two through holes are respectively positioned at two sides of the sleeve hole and respectively penetrated by the two supporting pieces.

The chain type tool magazine of any one of claims 2 to 4, comprising a tool conveying mechanism disposed at one side of the rail corresponding to the tool picking position, wherein the tool conveying mechanism comprises at least one guiding member, a clamping unit and a displacement member, wherein the guiding member is close to but not in contact with the supporting member at the tool picking position, and the guiding member and the supporting member at the tool picking position together form a guide rail, the clamping unit is connected to one end of the displacement member, the displacement member is controlled to drive the clamping unit to move, the clamping unit is used to clamp the tool sheath and drive the tool sheath to slide on the supporting member and the guiding member.

The chain type tool magazine of claim 6, wherein the displacement member is controlled to linearly reciprocate between a first position and a second position, the clamping unit has a first clamping face and a second clamping face, wherein when the displacement member is at the first position, the tool case on the chain can pass through a space between the first clamping face and the second clamping face of the clamping unit; when the displacement member moves to the second position, the first clamping surface and the second clamping surface of the clamping unit clamp and squeeze the cutter sleeve positioned at the cutter taking position, and when the displacement member reaches the second position, the clamped cutter sleeve is separated from the support member.

The chain type tool magazine of claim 7, wherein the tool transportation mechanism comprises a saddle, a tool sheath stop, and an actuating cylinder, the saddle is disposed on one side of the rail, the tool sheath stop is fixed to one end of the saddle, the guiding member is connected to the tool sheath stop, the actuating cylinder comprises a cylinder body disposed on the saddle, one end of the displacement member is disposed in the cylinder body, and the other end of the displacement member is disposed outside the cylinder body and connected to the clamping unit, and the displacement member can be driven to linearly reciprocate by controlling the pressure inside the cylinder body.

The chain type tool magazine of claim 8, wherein the tool conveying mechanism comprises at least one guide rod disposed parallel to the guide member, the clamping unit comprises a first clamping block, a second clamping block, at least one fixing rod and at least one spring, wherein the guide rod passes through the first clamping block and the second clamping block, one end of the fixing rod is fixedly connected to the first clamping block, the other end of the fixing rod passes through the second clamping block and is provided with a stopper, the spring is sleeved on the fixing rod, and two ends of the spring are respectively abutted against the stopper and the second clamping block; one end of the displacement piece is connected with the second clamping block, the first clamping block is provided with the first clamping surface, and the second clamping block is provided with the second clamping surface.
10. The chain type tool magazine of claim 9, wherein the tool conveying mechanism comprises at least one blocking member for blocking the fixing rod, so that the displacement member moving to the first position can drive the second clamping block to move back relative to the first clamping block to increase the distance between the first clamping block and the second clamping block.
