Description

High-speed electric connector
[ technical field ] A method for producing a semiconductor device
The embodiment of the application relates to the field of communication transmission, in particular to a high-speed electric connector.
[ background of the invention ]
The electrical connector assembly allows a user of the electronic device or external apparatus to transmit data to or communicate with other devices and apparatuses. Typically, the electrical connector assembly includes a pluggable module received within a receptacle assembly that includes a receptacle connector that is removably connectable to the pluggable module. The receptacle assembly includes a metal cage having an internal compartment that receives the pluggable module therein. A receptacle connector is retained in the interior compartment of the cage for connection with a pluggable module, such as SFP, QSFP, etc., when the pluggable module is inserted therein.
The socket connectors in the prior art generally include an insulating base, a plurality of terminals combined in the insulating base, an insulating housing sleeved on the periphery of the insulating base, and a metal cage covering the insulating housing. The front end of the insulating shell forms an insertion cavity, and each terminal forms a cantilever-shaped contact section which protrudes into the insertion cavity and is correspondingly butted with the butt joint module. The contact sections are arranged in two rows, one upper row and the other lower row, and the upper row contact section and the lower row contact section are generally arranged in a staggered manner in the left-right direction (i.e. not corresponding to each other in the up-down direction, in other words, the upper row contact section and the lower row contact section are not in mirror symmetry in the up-down direction). In the molding of the contact sections, bending or twisting of the metal sheet is therefore often achieved, so that a finished terminal path does not lie in one plane. The terminal form of such structure needs to give way the contact section of bending when assembling to insulating housing through inserting, so make the contact section have very big displacement possibility along arranging direction (left and right direction), so be unfavorable for socket connector overall stability and with the butt joint stability of butt joint module. And the contact section with longer suspension wall shape is also easy to deform, resulting in butt joint dislocation with the butt joint module and poor quality.
Therefore, there is a need for an improved connector that solves the above-mentioned problems.
