Detailed Description
The following describes the structural and operational principles of the present invention in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings:
please refer to fig. 1, which is a schematic diagram of a keyboard 10 according to an embodiment of the present invention.
The keyboard 10 may be a component of an electronic device, such as a notebook computer. In another embodiment, the keyboard 100 may be a stand-alone device that can be selectively connected (or electrically connected) to an external electronic device, such as a desktop computer, a household appliance, or other electronic devices requiring input signals.
As shown in fig. 1, the keyboard 10 includes a Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) 100 and at least one key structure 11. The key structure 11 is disposed adjacent to the circuit board assembly 100. The circuit board assembly 100 includes a circuit board 110, at least one light emitting device 120, at least one circuit device 130, and at least one connector 140. The circuit board 110 has an upper surface 110 u. In the present embodiment, the light emitting element 120 and the circuit element 130 are disposed on the upper surface 110u of the circuit board 110. Since the light emitting device 120 and the circuit device 130 are disposed on the upper surface 110u of the circuit board 110, the space of the lower surface 110b of the circuit board 110 is made available for other circuit devices to be disposed.
The present invention does not limit the arrangement position of the circuit element 130 (which can be disposed on the upper surface 110u or the lower surface 110b) of the circuit board assembly 100, and the design flexibility of the circuit board assembly 100 can be increased.
Although not shown, the key structure 11 includes, for example, a key cap, a lifting mechanism, a bottom plate, a membrane switch layer, and/or other elements for realizing the key function. For example, the number of the key structures 11 is plural, and each key structure 11 may be disposed above at least one light emitting element 120, so that light (not shown) emitted by the light emitting element 120 may be incident on a key cap of the key structure 11 to illuminate the key cap.
The Circuit Board 110 is, for example, a Printed Circuit Board (PCB). Specifically, the Circuit board 110 is a substrate capable of supporting and/or electrically connecting the light emitting element 120 and the Circuit element 130, such as an epoxy glass fiber substrate (FR-4), a Flexible Printed Circuit (FPC), or a polyethylene terephthalate (PET) substrate. Structurally, the circuit board 110 is, for example, a single-layer board or a multi-layer board, and includes at least one trace (not shown) and/or at least one pad (not shown). The light emitting device 120 and the circuit device 130 can be electrically connected to traces and/or pads of the circuit board 110.
The light emitting element 120 is, for example, a light emitting diode or other type of light emitting source. The circuit elements 130 are, for example, a controller (e.g., a Microcontroller Unit (MCU)), passive elements (e.g., resistors, capacitors, and/or inductors), active elements, and/or various other circuit structures for implementing the keyboard function. In one embodiment, the circuit element 130 may be disposed at the space between the two key structures 11 or at the edge region R1 of the circuit board 110 of the keyboard 10 to avoid interfering with the key structures 11.
The connector 140 is disposed on the upper surface 110u of the circuit board 110. The connector 140 may be electrically connected to the membrane switch layer of the key structure 11 or a component of the electronic device, such as a host (host), a processor (processor), etc., so that the light emitting device 120 and/or the circuit device 130 on the circuit board 110 may be electrically connected to the membrane switch layer of the key structure 11 or a component of the electronic device through the connector 140.
Please refer to fig. 2, which is a schematic diagram of a circuit board assembly 200 according to another embodiment of the present invention. The circuit board assembly 200 includes a circuit board 210, at least one light emitting device 120, at least one circuit device 130, and at least one connector 140. The circuit board assembly 100 of the keyboard 10 of fig. 1 may be replaced by a circuit board assembly 200. The circuit board assembly 200 of the embodiment of the present invention has the same or similar features as the circuit board assembly 100 of fig. 1, but is different in that the circuit board 210 of the circuit board assembly 200 has a hole 210a, and the connector 140 is disposed in the hole 210 a.
The circuit board 210 has an upper surface 210 u. The light emitting element 120 and the circuit element 130 are disposed on the upper surface 210 u. Since the light emitting device 120 and the circuit device 130 are disposed on the upper surface 210u of the circuit board 210, the space of the lower surface 210b of the circuit board 210 is made available for disposing other circuit devices. The present invention does not limit the arrangement position of the circuit element 130 and the arrangement position of the connector 140 of the circuit board assembly 200, and the design flexibility of the circuit board assembly 200 can be increased.
Fig. 3 is a schematic diagram of a circuit board assembly 300 according to another embodiment of the present invention. The circuit board assembly 300 includes a circuit board 110, at least one light emitting device 120, at least one circuit device 130 and at least one connector 140. The circuit board assembly 100 of the keyboard 10 of fig. 1 may be replaced by a circuit board assembly 300. The circuit board assembly 300 of the embodiment of the present invention has the same or similar features as the circuit board assembly 100 of fig. 1, except that the connector 140 of the circuit board assembly 300 can be disposed on the lower surface 110b of the circuit board 110.

Fig. 4 is a schematic diagram of a circuit board assembly 400 according to another embodiment of the present invention. The circuit board assembly 400 includes a circuit board 110, at least one light emitting device 120, at least one circuit device 130, and at least one connector 140. The circuit board assembly 100 of the keyboard 10 of fig. 1 may be replaced by a circuit board assembly 400. The circuit board assembly 400 of the embodiment of the present invention has the same or similar features as the circuit board assembly 100 of fig. 1, except that the circuit elements 130 of the circuit board assembly 400 are disposed on the lower surface 110b of the circuit board 110.
The present invention does not limit the arrangement position of the circuit element 130 and the arrangement position of the connector 140 of the circuit board assembly 400, and the design flexibility of the circuit board assembly 400 can be increased.
As can be seen from the above, the present invention is not limited to the arrangement position of the circuit element of the circuit board assembly, for example, the circuit element may be arranged on the upper surface or the lower surface of the circuit board. In addition, the present invention also does not limit the location of the connector of the circuit board assembly, for example, the connector may be disposed on the upper surface, the lower surface or the broken hole of the circuit board. In one embodiment, the circuit elements and the connectors may be disposed on an upper surface of the circuit board. In another embodiment, the circuit elements and the connectors may be disposed on opposite sides of the circuit board, respectively. In other embodiments, the circuit component may be disposed on an upper surface of the circuit board and the connector may be disposed in a hole of the circuit board. Because the circuit elements and the connectors can be arranged on the circuit board in various ways, the design flexibility of the circuit board assembly can be increased.
Naturally, the present invention can be embodied in many other forms without departing from the spirit or essential attributes thereof, and it should be understood that various changes and modifications can be made by one skilled in the art without departing from the spirit or essential attributes thereof, and it is intended that all such changes and modifications be considered as within the scope of the appended claims.
