Light guide assembly, lamp and vehicle
Technical Field
The present application relates to the field of vehicle light structures. More particularly, the present application relates to a light guide assembly that provides improved apparent lighting quality. The application also relates to a luminaire comprising the above light guide assembly. The present application also relates to a vehicle comprising the above light guide assembly or the above light fixture.
Background
In conventional vehicle light fixture designs, the light guide is typically provided in the shape of an elongated strip. Typical light guides have a cross-section of no more than 8mm diameter and a length of more than 30 cm. To secure the light guide in the light fitting of the vehicle, the light guide is usually secured by means of a screw and snap combination. As shown in fig. 1 to 4, the existing light guide 10 has an elongated structure, and is provided at an end thereof with a fixing portion 11. A plurality of screws 30 and snaps 12 are arranged along the length of the light guide 10. Fig. 3 shows the connection structure of the screw 30, and fig. 4 shows the connection structure of the clip 12. The screws 30 and the catches 12 together fix the light guide 10 to the light guide holder 20. However, various mounting structures disposed along the length of the light guide 10 may cause problems of bright spots and non-uniformity of light emission.

Detailed Description
Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the present application will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. Those skilled in the art will appreciate that the descriptions are illustrative only, exemplary, and should not be construed as limiting the scope of the application.
First, it should be noted that the terms top, bottom, upward, downward, and the like as used herein are defined with respect to the orientation in the drawings. They are relative concepts and can therefore vary with the location and state of use of the feature. Therefore, these directional terms should not be construed as limiting terms.
Furthermore, it should be further noted that any single technical feature described or implied in the embodiments herein, or any single technical feature shown or implied in the figures, can still be combined between these technical features (or their equivalents) to obtain other embodiments of the present application not directly mentioned herein.
It should be noted that in different drawings, the same reference numerals indicate the same or substantially the same components.
FIG. 5 is a perspective view of one embodiment of a light guide assembly of the present application. The light guide assembly includes a light guide 100, a bezel 200, and a holder 300. As shown in fig. 6, the light conductor 100 may extend in a length direction or include a plurality of elongated sections, each of which may be connected to a fixing portion 102 at an end, and may be further provided with a connection hole 101 at an end of the section. By these connection structures, the light conductor 100 may be attached to other components in a light guide assembly or other components in a luminaire not shown.
Fig. 7 is a cross-sectional view of the embodiment shown in fig. 5. According to one embodiment of the present application, the light guide body 100 has a cross section along a length direction. In the illustrated embodiment, the lengthwise direction of the light guide body 100 refers to a direction substantially perpendicular to the paper of fig. 7. Bezel 200 has a first mating surface 201 that mates with one side of the cross-section of light conductor 100 disposed thereon, and holder 300 has a second mating surface 302 that mates with the other side of the cross-section of light conductor 100 disposed thereon. The bezel 200 and the holder 300 are removably attached together by a connector 400 so that the light conductor 100 is sandwiched and fixed between the first mating surface 201 and the second mating surface 302.
In one embodiment, the connector 400 that connects the bezel 200 and the bracket 300 together is a bolt. As shown, connector 400 also secures bezel 200 and mount 300 to light fixture 500. Therefore, holes for receiving the connectors 400 are respectively provided in the bezel 200, the bracket 300, and the lamp 500. In addition, the bracket 300 may also have a connection structure as shown in the lower left portion of fig. 7 so as to be connected to the lamp 500. When light conductor 100 is fixed in place, bezel 200 is positioned above light conductor 100, and bracket 300 is positioned below light conductor 100.
The cross-section of light conductor 100 may be configured to have one of the following shapes: circular, oval, rectangular, triangular, trapezoidal, or combinations thereof. For example, the cross-section may have a circular shape, and thus, the first mating surface 201 and the second mating surface 302 may respectively have a surface in the shape of a circular arc. In this case, the circular arc shapes of the first mating surface 201 and the second mating surface 302 are also configured to have the same center as the cross section of the light guide body 100. Such a configuration facilitates close contact of the first mating surface 201 and the second mating surface 302 with the outer surface of the optical conductor 100, thereby providing good clamping performance. When mounting, it is only necessary to align the first mating surface 201 and the second mating surface 302 with the outer surface of the optical conductor 100 and then fix the bezel 200 and the bracket 300 with respect to each other with the connector 400, and it is possible to fix the optical conductor 100 in a desired position by means of the bezel 200 and the bracket 300.
Further, as shown, the left portion of the light conductor 100 may be configured not to be covered by the first mating surface 201 and the second mating surface 302, and the left portion is visible outside the light guide assembly. Light conductor 100 may also include a recess 103 in cross-section facing second mating surface 302. For example, the recess 103 may be disposed substantially in the horizontal direction and opposite to the left portion of the light guide 100 facing outward. The cross section of light guide 100 may be configured to be constant throughout the length of light guide 100 or may be configured to vary according to actual needs.
It will be readily appreciated that the light guide 100 may be made of a transparent or at least translucent material, so that light emitted by the luminaires in the luminaire can be conducted through the light guide 100 and, in fig. 7, out through the left side surface of the light guide 100. Since light conductor 100 is clamped and fixed between bezel 200 and bracket 300, conventional mounting structures such as screws and snaps are not required. One embodiment of a light guide assembly according to the present application eliminates the problems of luminous speckle and luminous non-uniformity, and provides substantially uniform illumination of light along the length of light guide 100.
The present application also relates to a luminaire comprising the light guide assembly described above. The present application still further relates to a vehicle comprising the light guide assembly described above or comprising the light fixture described above.
The light guide assembly, the lamp and the vehicle have the advantages of simple structure, easiness in manufacturing, convenience in use and the like. The apparent light emission quality of the light guide assembly is improved in a limited manner. By adopting the light guide assembly, the lamp and the vehicle, the uniformity of light emission of the vehicle lamp is effectively improved, the quality of light emission appearance is improved, and the installation complexity of the light guide assembly is reduced. In addition, the structure of the mold for manufacturing the respective parts is simplified, and the assembly speed and efficiency of the entire light guide assembly are improved.
This written description discloses the application with reference to the drawings, and also enables one skilled in the art to practice the application, including making and using any devices or systems, selecting appropriate materials, and using any incorporated methods. The scope of the present application is defined by the claims and encompasses other examples that occur to those skilled in the art. Such other examples are to be considered within the scope of protection defined by the claims of this application, provided that they include structural elements that do not differ from the literal language of the claims, or that they include equivalent structural elements with insubstantial differences from the literal language of the claims.
