8. The storage box of claim 7, further comprising a box cover, wherein the box cover is fastened to the flap.

9. The storage box of claim 8, wherein the box cover is hermetically connected to the flange.

10. A storage compartment as defined in claim 9, wherein the lid includes a vent hole or valve.
