Detailed Description
In order to more clearly illustrate the embodiments of the present invention or the technical solutions in the prior art, the following description will be made with reference to the accompanying drawings. It is obvious that the drawings in the following description are only some examples of the invention, and that for a person skilled in the art, other drawings and embodiments can be derived from them without inventive effort.
Most of the treatments of deviated jaw adopt the mode of adding jaw pad resin in the mouth to heighten the occlusion relation, but the jaw pad resin needs to be stuck in the mouth of a patient in the mode, and the patient cannot take off the jaw pad resin at will when having a meal, so that eating disorder is caused. The utility model provides a can enough conveniently take and wear, can carry out the device of rescuring of the treatment of patient's partial jaw simultaneously again.
A shell-shaped dental appliance 100 is used for adjusting the jaw relation of a deviated jaw patient, and the shell-shaped dental appliance 100 comprises a shell-shaped body 101 for accommodating a plurality of teeth, wherein at least part of the area of one of the left side and the right side of the shell-shaped body 101 for accommodating the teeth in the posterior dental area is provided with a convex part 102 which is convex towards the jaw direction so as to adjust the relative position of the upper jaw and the lower jaw; such that at least the portion of the patient's face below the bridge of the nose gradually changes from the first position to the second position.
Or the areas of the left and right sides of the shell-shaped body 101 for containing the teeth in the posterior dental area are respectively provided with at least parts of convex parts 102 which protrude towards the opposite jaw direction to adjust the relative positions of the upper jaw and the lower jaw, and the distances between the two convex parts 102 and the surface which is in contact with the opposite jaw and is opposite to the occlusal surface of the teeth contained in the convex parts are different; such that at least the portion of the patient's face below the bridge of the nose gradually changes from the first position to the second position.
Above-mentioned two kinds of modes can be pertinence treat the partial jaw of patient different degree, if the patient is less to the jaw degree, only need unilateral to set up bulge 102, the interlock is opened to back dental zone tooth to the opposite side can be with the help of the thickness of shell-like body 101 self, both sides not co-altitude open the interlock about forming to adjust the partial jaw of patient. If the deviated jaw degree of the patient is large, when the posterior tooth area needs to be opened and occluded to a large degree, the shell-shaped tooth appliance with the convex parts 102 arranged on the left side and the right side can be selected, at the moment, the convex heights of the convex parts 102 arranged on the left side and the right side are different, so that the posterior tooth areas on the left side and the right side are opened and occluded to different degrees, the asymmetric condyles 20 of the patient can be promoted to tend to grow symmetrically, and the deviated jaw of the patient is adjusted. In the actual correcting process, different types of shell-shaped tooth correcting devices can be selected according to the actual conditions in the mouths of patients.
Wherein the "posterior dental zone" is defined according to the classification of teeth, including premolars and molars, shown as teeth 4-8 by FDI notation, in pages 36-38 of the "introduction to oral medicine" published by Beijing university medical Press. The posterior dental zone of the shell-shaped dental appliance may be used to accommodate first premolars, second premolars, first molars, second molars and third molars of the maxillary or mandibular teeth. At least a portion of the posterior dental area of the shell-like body may be a portion that receives any one or more of the first premolar, the second premolar, the first molar, the second molar, and the third molar.
In some embodiments of the present invention, when the area of one of the left and right sides of the shell-shaped body 101 for receiving the teeth of the posterior dental area is at least partially provided with the protruding portion 102 protruding toward the jaw direction to adjust the relative position of the upper and lower jaws, the height of the teeth of the posterior dental area on the left and right sides is increased by a height difference, and the protruding portion is provided on the shorter side of the facial surface below the nose bridge. As shown in FIG. 2, it is common for the deviated jaw patient that the midline of the upper and lower jaws is substantially symmetrical when the patient is open, and during the occlusion process, as shown in FIG. 1, the occlusion trajectory is shifted, resulting in malocclusion; because of the incongruity of the relation between the upper jaw and the lower jaw, the deviated chewing for a long time usually exists, at the moment, the situation that the part below the nose bridge of the face is asymmetric exists, the face 10 of the working side of the deviated chewing is shorter than that of the non-working side, and even more, the phenomenon that the bilateral condyles 20 of the patient are asymmetric exists. As shown in fig. 3, and after the patient wears the shell-shaped tooth appliance 100 provided by the utility model, the teeth in the posterior tooth zone are heightened by the cushions of different degrees through the left and right sides, the jaw opening phenomenon of the posterior tooth zone part of the patient is simulated, the relative position of the normal relation of the upper and lower jaws is maintained, the smaller side of the condyles 20 after a period of wearing is promoted to grow and tends to be symmetrical with the opposite condyles 20, and simultaneously the corresponding teeth are matched to correct, so that the facial surface of the part below the bridge of the nose of the patient tends to be symmetrical, and the bilateral condyles 20 tend to be symmetrical to grow.
In some embodiments of the present invention, as shown in fig. 4, when the protrusions 102 are provided on the left and right sides of the shell-shaped body, when the height of the corresponding protrusion 102 at the shorter side of the face below the nose bridge is greater than the height of the corresponding protrusion 102 at the longer side of the face below the nose bridge, the height difference exists between the height of the left and right rear teeth areas which are also raised by the pad, the arrangement mode can simulate the phenomenon that the jaw is partially opened in the rear teeth areas of a patient by raising the left and right rear teeth areas by different degrees, the relative position of the normal relation of the upper and lower jaws is kept, after a period of wearing, the smaller side of the condyle 20 is promoted to grow symmetrically with the opposite side of the condyle 20, meanwhile, the facial features of the part below the nose bridge of the patient tend to be symmetrical by matching with corresponding tooth correction, and meanwhile, bilateral condyles 20 tend to grow symmetrically.
In some embodiments of the present invention, the height of the protrusion 102 protruding toward the opposite jaw direction is greater than 3 mm. More specifically, the height of the at least one side of the patient's posterior teeth is about 3mm, and this arrangement can effectively open the occlusion of the posterior teeth area, so that the patient's posterior teeth area are opened to a certain extent, thereby promoting bilateral symmetry of the condyles 20. In some embodiments, as shown in fig. 5, the protrusion 102 may be disposed on a single side on the left or right side, when the protrusion 102 is disposed on a single side, the protrusion 102 may be disposed on a single side for a slightly symptomatic deviated jaw patient, and the other side may be partially occluded by the thickness of the shell-shaped body 101 itself, so as to perform the correction adjustment of the deviated jaw.
Of course, the left side and the right side can be arranged on both sides, and the height of the convex part protruding towards the jaw direction is larger than 3mm no matter the convex part is arranged on one side or on both sides.
In some embodiments of the present invention, shell-like body 101 has a geometry that gradually changes the tooth from an initial position to a target correction position. More specifically, for the deviated jaw patient, the jaw relation is not only inconsistent, but also the occlusion relation between the upper and lower teeth is inconsistent due to the inconsistency of the upper and lower jaw relation for a long time, the stable occlusion relation of the upper and lower jaws is normally opposite to the fossa acuta, and the normal occlusion relation is broken for the deviated jaw patient, but under the premise of chewing, the deviated occlusion relation is reestablished, and the incorrect occlusion relation established for a long time causes the abrasion and position adjustment of the teeth, so that the deviated jaw patient needs not only the adjustment of the jaw relation but also the adjustment of the tooth position. The initial position can be a digital model relative position acquired when the patient is hospitalized, or a position which is closer to a target correction position than the next stage of the initial position; the target correcting position can be embodied as a position for final correcting effect according to patient appeal and intraoral conditions by doctors and medical designers, and can also be a next-stage correcting position which is closer to the final target correcting position than the initial position; due to individual differences, the intraoral conditions of different patients are different, and it is necessary to gradually move the teeth from the initial position to the target position.
In some embodiments of the invention, the gradual change of the first position to the second position causes the patient's face to be symmetrical or substantially symmetrical at least in the portion below the bridge of the nose. For a deviated jaw patient, after a wound exists on one side of a tooth, the other side of the tooth is chewed for a long time, so that bilateral facial asymmetry and bilateral condyles 20 are asymmetric, and in the past, the facial asymmetry is aggravated, the joint asymmetry is aggravated, and certain psychological and physiological damage is caused to the patient.
In some embodiments of the present invention, at least a portion of the area below the nose bridge of the face of the patient includes lips, and this kind of adjustment method can improve the face of the patient, not only corrects the bad habits of the patient, but also enhances the confidence of the patient.
In some embodiments of the present invention, at least a portion of the area below the nose bridge of the face of the patient includes the two cheek areas 10, the face of the patient with deviated jaw is usually asymmetric with the two cheek areas 10, i.e. one single side is longer, the other single side is shorter, which causes certain influence to the mind and physiology of the patient, and the shell-shaped tooth appliance provided by the present embodiment can adjust the relative position and symmetry of the two cheek areas 10 of the patient.
In some embodiments of the present invention, the protrusion 102 is disposed anywhere between the mesial surface of the first premolar to the mesial surface of the second molar. The setting mode is that the occlusion of the teeth in the back tooth zone can be opened at the specific position of the back tooth zone, so that the back tooth zone is in an open jaw state after a patient wears the shell-shaped tooth appliance, the shorter side of the face of the patient is stretched to be symmetrical or basically symmetrical with the longer side of the face, and the bilateral condylar processes 20 are enabled to tend to grow symmetrically.
In some embodiments of the present invention, the portion of the protrusion 102 facing the occlusal surface of the jaw dentition is further provided with a friction portion 103 for stably contacting the upper and lower jaws when adjusting the jaw relation of the deviated jaw patient; the friction part 103 is arranged to enable the upper and lower jaws of the patient to be more stable in contact without relative position movement. In some preferred embodiments, the hardness and/or elastic modulus of the friction portion 103 provided on the protruding portion 102 is greater than the hardness and/or elastic modulus of other portions of the shell-like body. More specifically, this arrangement can improve the stability when biting into the jaw, and when the hardness and/or elastic modulus of the friction portion 103 is greater than those of the other portions of the shell-like body, the portion that comes into contact with the jaw and generates an acting force has a higher strength, so that the stability when biting into the jaw can be ensured without affecting the correction effect due to the occurrence of deformation. In some more preferred embodiments, the hardness and/or elastic modulus of the part of the convex portion 102 other than the friction portion 103 is greater than the hardness and/or elastic modulus of the shell-shaped body 101 other than the convex portion 102, and when the upper jaw and the lower jaw are engaged, the convex portion 102 can have a higher hardness and/or elastic modulus, so that not only the strength of the part which is in contact with the jaw and generates an acting force is higher, but also the acting strength of the whole convex portion 102 is higher, the stability during engagement can be ensured, and the correction effect cannot be influenced by the generation of deformation. In some more preferred embodiments, the friction portion 103 is one, two or more of a structure that is concave-convex matched with the occlusal surface of the opposite jaw tooth, a structure that is occlusally matched with the occlusal surface of the opposite jaw tooth, a structure that has a frosted surface, a structure that has convex points, a structure that has a hollowed-out surface, or a structure that has a perforated surface.
In some embodiments of the present invention, the friction portion 103 disposed on the protrusion 102 is a multi-layer structure, or the thickness of the friction portion 103 is greater than the thickness of the protrusion 102 except the friction portion 103, so that the friction portion obtains higher mechanical strength, and when the upper and lower jaws are engaged, the deformation of the protrusion 102 does not occur, resulting in the reduction of the correction effect. More specifically, the friction portion 103 is provided in a form larger than the thickness of the protrusion 102 or other region on the shell-like body 101 because the friction portion 103 is a place which comes into contact with the jaw when the maxilla and mandible are engaged, and when the friction portion 103 is of a multi-layer structure or the thickness of the friction portion 103 is larger than the thickness of the protrusion 102 except the friction portion 103, the friction portion 103 can bear the intensity of the engaging force when the maxilla and mandible are engaged, thereby reducing the probability of deformation of the protrusion 102 and ensuring the corrective effect.
In some embodiments of the present invention, the protrusion 102 is a multi-layer structure, or the thickness of the protrusion 102 is greater than the thickness of the shell-shaped body 101 except the protrusion 102, so that the protrusion 102 obtains higher mechanical strength, and when the upper and lower jaws are engaged, the deformation of the protrusion 102 does not occur, resulting in the reduction of the correction effect. In some preferred embodiments, the thickness of the projection 102 is 2-3 mm. Such thickness can effectively provide the acting force required in the process of correcting the deviated jaw, and prevent the poor correction effect caused by insufficient thickness or hardness of the convex part 102 in the correction process.
In some embodiments of the present invention, a filler is further disposed in the protrusion 102. The filler may be, for example, a resin suitable for dental use, and improves the stability of the convex portion 102 when occlusion of the upper and lower jaws is performed, so that the corrective effect is not lowered by the occurrence of occlusion deformation.

Because the occlusion relationship of the teeth in the posterior dental area of the deviated jaw patient is not coordinated, the upper jaw position and the lower jaw position can be adjusted and simultaneously corrected, and the correct occlusion relationship can be obtained after the adjustment of the upper jaw position and the lower jaw position is finished.
It should be noted that the above embodiments can be freely combined as necessary. The foregoing is only a preferred embodiment of the present invention, and it should be noted that, for those skilled in the art, various modifications and decorations can be made without departing from the principle of the present invention, and these modifications and decorations should also be regarded as the protection scope of the present invention.
