2. A drum assembly as claimed in claim 1 wherein the handle member is spaced from the compact by a pivot axis when the handle member is in the closed position.

The drum assembly according to claim 2, wherein the handle member includes a holding portion and two connecting portions connected to opposite ends of the holding portion, respectively, the connecting portions being hinged to the photosensitive drum unit via the rotary shaft, the force application portion being provided on the connecting portions, and a distance between the force application portion and the rotary shaft being smaller than a distance between the holding portion and the rotary shaft.

A drum assembly according to claim 3, wherein a first end of the connecting portion is connected to the holding portion, a second end of the connecting portion extends laterally of the handle member and forms the shaft, and the photosensitive drum unit is provided with a shaft hole which is engaged with the second end of the connecting portion, and the shaft extends into the shaft hole to allow relative rotation between the connecting portion and the photosensitive drum unit; the force application part is positioned at the second end of the connecting part.
5. The drum assembly according to claim 3 or 4, wherein the force applying portions are two and symmetrically provided on the two connecting portions, respectively.
6. A drum assembly as claimed in any one of claims 1-4 wherein the force applying portion is a projection projecting toward the compact.
7. The drum assembly as claimed in claim 6, wherein the protrusion is a strip protruding from the sidewall of the compact, the length direction of the strip is parallel to the length direction of the handle, and the length of the strip is greater than the length of the handle.
8. The drum assembly of claim 7 wherein the force application portion extends below a bottom wall of the projection when the handle member is in the closed position.
9. A drum assembly as claimed in any one of claims 1-4 wherein the compact has a toner supply opening and the handle member is located on a side of the compact facing away from the toner supply opening.
10. A printing apparatus comprising a drum assembly as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 9.
