Accordingly, the protective cover 4 can provide a more reliable protective function, and can serve as an appearance member of the display device 1000 used for the display panel 100, thereby simplifying the structure and the manufacturing process of the display device 1000, reducing the cost, reducing the thickness, and realizing a light and thin design.

The display panel (100) according to any one of claims 1 to 10, wherein the protective cover plate (4) comprises a flat plate portion (42) and a frame portion (43), the flat plate portion (42) is entirely located on the display side of the substrate (1), the frame portion (43) extends from an edge of the flat plate portion (42) toward the non-display side of the substrate (1) to be disposed around a peripheral sidewall of the substrate (1), and the first sealant (5) is filled between the frame portion (43) and the peripheral sidewall of the substrate (1).
12. The display panel (100) according to any one of claims 1 to 10, wherein the protective cover sheet (4) is of a flat plate structure to be entirely located on the display side of the substrate (1), and the first sealant (5) is also entirely located on the display side of the substrate (1).
