Unless otherwise indicated, the directional terms described herein are generally in accordance with conventional directions as understood by those skilled in the art.
The terms "first," "second," and the like as used herein do not denote any order, quantity, or importance, but rather are used to distinguish one element from another.
Referring to fig. 1 to 4, the present invention provides a universal extraction faucet 1, which includes a housing 10, a spherical connecting member 11, a limiting member 12, a fixing member 13, and a sealing member.
Among other things, as shown in fig. 1, the housing 10 is mainly used for accommodating the above-mentioned remaining components and also for connecting a water distributing body 15 to be mentioned later.
The ball joint 11 may typically be a ball joint, although other suitable configurations may be selected by those skilled in the art. The ball joint 11 includes a ball portion 110 and a tube portion 112. In which, as shown in fig. 3 to 4, a ball part 110 is inserted into a housing 10 from an upper portion of the housing 10, and a tube part 112 is located substantially outside the housing 10 and connected to an extraction tube. The ball joint 11 is a hollow tubular member having a ball portion 110 in communication with a tube portion 112 for delivering fluid.
The above-mentioned stopper 12 is mounted in the housing 10. Specifically, as seen in fig. 2, the housing 10 forms an inverted trapezoidal opening 100 at an upper portion of the inner wall, and a bottom end of the opening 100 is stepped downward. The position-limiting member 12 is configured to be step-shaped, as shown in fig. 3, the position-limiting member 12 is optionally a stepped snap ring, the upper edge of the stepped snap ring abuts against the bottom end of the opening 100, and the stepped surface conforms to the stepped structure distributed at the bottom end of the opening 100. While the stop 12 is nested on the spherical connection 11 (i.e. the ball joint), whereby the ball joint is restrained within the housing 10 by the stop 12 abutting against the inner wall of the housing 10, mainly preventing the ball joint from disengaging from the housing 10.
Referring again to fig. 3, a fixing member 13 is located below the retaining member 12, and the fixing member 13 is engaged (e.g., threaded) to the housing 10 to thereby limit axial movement of the ball joint within the housing 10 by positioning relative to the housing 10. The upper part of the fixing 13 is shaped to substantially conform to the ball joint so that the housing 10, with its internal remaining components, is able to gimbal relative to the ball joint. Specifically, one end of the anchor 13 (i.e., the end facing or near the ball portion 110 of the ball joint) is recessed downward to form a receiving cavity 136 for the ball portion 110 to be disposed therein. Referring to fig. 3 to 4, the fixing member 13 is extended in a radial direction thereof to form a flange 130, and an outer circumferential surface of the flange 130 may be provided with a screw thread so as to be firmly engaged to the housing 10, thereby being fixed in the housing 10 while positioning the limiting member 12 (i.e., a snap ring) by abutting against the limiting member 12 at an upper portion thereof. Additionally, a seal (e.g., an O-ring seal) is disposed between the securing member 13 and the ball portion 110 of the ball joint, primarily because the device is used to deliver fluid, which provides a better seal to prevent fluid from leaking out and affecting the user experience.
In addition, the fixing member 13 is further provided with a clamping groove 134, the clamping groove 134 is mainly used for placing the sealing member 14, as shown in fig. 3 to 4, the sealing member 14 used in the present invention may be a sealing gasket or a sealing ring. A catch 134 is provided on the side remote from the ball joint, the catch 134 being disposed on the outer peripheral surface of the fixing member 13 near the lower end as seen in the drawing.
Specifically, the fixing member 13 is formed with a pipe section 132 extending downward (away from the ball joint) from the flange 130 thereof, and the pipe section 132 is in communication with the ball joint. The locking groove 134 is arranged on the outer circumferential surface of the tube section 132, and the sealing element 14 is locked in the locking groove 134. Referring to fig. 3, in the embodiment where the sealing member 14 is a sealing gasket, the sealing gasket, after being engaged in the engaging groove 134, has an inner peripheral surface abutting against the engaging groove 134 and an outer peripheral surface abutting against the housing 10. Referring to fig. 4, in the embodiment in which the sealing member 14 is a sealing ring, after the sealing ring is snapped into the snap groove 134, the sealing ring is spaced apart from the housing 10 due to the engagement of the engaging portion of the water distributing body 15, which will be mentioned later, to the housing 10.
As shown in fig. 1 and 2, the withdrawal faucet also includes a diverter body 15 having a body engagement portion 150, the diverter body 15 being primarily for the dispensing of fluid (i.e., the switching of a waterway), the diverter body 15 being engaged to the housing 10 by the body engagement portion 150 (e.g., by threaded engagement with the housing 10). The main body 15 is connected to the fixing member 13, and as shown in fig. 3, in the case that the sealing member 14 is a sealing gasket, the engaging groove 134 of the fixing member 13 is preferably provided on the outer peripheral surface of the pipe section 132 at a position adjacent to the flange 130, and the tip of the main body engaging portion 150 abuts against the lower surface of the sealing gasket to further position the sealing gasket. When the seal 14 is a gasket, as shown in fig. 4, the inner surface of the body joint 150 abuts against the gasket in the groove 134.
When the sealing ring is selected to be used as the sealing member 14, the position of the locking groove 134 on the fixing member 13 may be set with reference to the above position (i.e., adjacent to the flange 130), or may be selected to be set at a position where the outer peripheral surface of the pipe section 132 is spaced apart from the flange 130.
As shown in fig. 3, the outer diameter of the tube segment 132 of the fixture 13 is preferably smaller than the inner diameter of the body interface 150 in the case where the seal 14 is a sealing gasket. In the case where the sealing member 14 is a sealing ring, as shown in fig. 4, the outer diameter of the pipe section 132 of the fixing member 13 is preferably equal to the inner diameter of the body engaging portion 150.
The utility model discloses in, because the reasonable structural design and the position of mounting arrange for when dividing water body and casing separation, mounting, sealing member, locating part and other additional spare parts are unlikely to scatter all everywhere, and usually because these part volumes are less, and inconvenient taking after scattering leads to increasing the difficulty that the user maintained the installation, the utility model discloses the above-mentioned problem that current extraction tap exists has been solved well, has made things convenient for the user to operate high-efficiently during the maintenance, has improved user experience.
While the invention has been described in detail in connection with only a limited number of embodiments, it should be readily understood that the invention is not limited to such disclosed embodiments. Rather, the invention can be modified by incorporating any number of variations, alterations, substitutions or equivalent arrangements not heretofore described, but which are commensurate with the spirit and scope of the invention. Additionally, while various embodiments of the invention have been described, it is to be understood that aspects of the invention may include only some of the embodiments. Accordingly, the invention is not to be seen as limited by the foregoing description, but is only limited by the scope of the appended claims.
