The first embodiment,
Referring to fig. 1, the present application provides a multi-port extended tablet 1, wherein the body of the tablet 1 includes a main port 11, at least one extension port 12 and an input panel 13.

In this embodiment, the user terminal device U1 may be some electronic device used with a tablet, such as a laptop, a desktop, a tablet, a smart phone, a workstation, and so on. The user terminal device U1 has a port matching with the main port 11, for example, if the main port 11 is a male interface of USB-C type, the user terminal device U1 should have a female interface of USB-C type, and the two interfaces are directly connected to communicate.
The expansion port 12 is used for expanding a peripheral device U2 connected to the user terminal device U1, where the peripheral device U2 is a tool for the user terminal device U1 to communicate with the outside, and may include input and output devices, an external memory, a signal converter, a peripheral processor, and the like, or may be a common computer peripheral expansion component such as a usb disk, a hard disk, a mouse, a keyboard, an optical drive, a sound, a printer, an LED lamp, a network card, a camera, and the like, or may be an office or home appliance such as a display, a projector, a television, and the like.
It should be noted that, in this embodiment, the number of the expansion ports 12 is not limited, and based on the number of the peripheral devices that the user needs to adapt to, the same type of expansion port 12 may be set to adapt to one type of peripheral device, or multiple types of expansion ports 12 may be set to adapt to multiple types of peripheral devices. Specifically, the expansion port 12 includes a USB-a interface and/or a USB-C interface so as to be adapted to electronic components such as a USB disk, a hard disk, a mouse, a keyboard, an optical drive, a sound, a printer, an LED lamp, a network card, a camera, and the like; the expansion port 12 may also include an HDMI interface and/or a VGA interface to accommodate displays, projectors, televisions, and the like.

The input panel 13 is provided on the upper surface of the body of the tablet 1, and has a sensing area for sensing external handwriting and/or key operation. The input panel 13 may be a finger touch panel, which changes the resistance or capacitance change at a certain point of the substrate by finger touch, and generates handwriting by sensing the position of a contact; the input panel 13 may also be a touch panel of an electromagnetic induction pen, which emits electromagnetic waves, and the electromagnetic induction pen determines the position of a contact point after sensing the electromagnetic waves by the substrate and generates handwriting. Of course, some physical keys or virtual keys may be arranged on the input panel 13, and the user may generate key operation by pressing the keys. For example, if the main port 11 of the tablet 1 is connected to a notebook computer and the expansion port 12 is connected to a projector, the tablet 1 can not only transmit the sensed handwriting to the notebook computer, but also convert and transmit the content of the notebook computer to the projector, so that the written content can be projected without limitation, and the user can easily and freely select simple operation to achieve unexpected effects. The handwriting board with the multiple expansion ports can increase the usability of the handwriting board, enhance the equipment interaction performance of multimedia teaching, conference and video conference, overcome the inconvenience of limited user terminal equipment interfaces, and has strong practicability.
Example II,
Referring to fig. 2, the present embodiment discloses a multi-port extended handwriting board, which includes a main port 11, an extended port 12, an input panel 13, a conversion circuit 14 and a detection circuit 15.
The main port 11 is used for signal connection of the user terminal device U1 and data communication with the user terminal device U1.
The expansion port 12 is used for expanding peripheral devices connected to the user terminal device U1, where the peripheral device U2 is a tool for the user terminal device U1 to communicate with the outside, and may include input and output devices, an external memory, a signal converter, a peripheral processor, and the like, and may even be a common computer peripheral expansion component such as a usb disk, a hard disk, a mouse, a keyboard, an optical disc drive, a sound, a printer, an LED lamp, a network card, a camera, and the like, and may also be an office or home appliance such as a display, a projector, a television, and the like. The expansion port 12 may include a USB-a interface and/or a USB-C interface to accommodate electronic components such as a USB disk, a hard disk, a mouse, a keyboard, an optical drive, a sound, a printer, an LED lamp, a network card, a camera, etc.
The conversion circuit 14 is in signal connection with the main port 11 and the expansion port 12, and is used for converting the signal type adapted by the main port 11 into the signal type adapted by the expansion port 12. In a specific embodiment, the type of the main port 11 includes an upstream USB-C interface, and the type of the expansion port 12 includes a USB-a interface and/or a USB-C interface; then, the conversion circuit 14 includes a HUB chip, which is connected to the upstream USB-C interface, and connected to the USB-a interface and/or the USB-C interface; the HUB chip is used for converting signal types between the uplink USB-C interface and the USB-A interface and/or between the uplink USB-C interface and the USB-C interface. For example, the HUB chip may adopt a HUB master chip VL817 that is available on the market.
The detection circuit 15 is in signal connection with the input panel 13 and the conversion circuit 14; the detection circuit 15 is used for detecting and forming coordinate data according to the handwriting sensed by the input panel 13, and transmitting the coordinate data to the user terminal device U1 through the main port 11; in addition, the detection circuit 15 can also detect and form instruction data according to key operations sensed by the input panel 13; the formed coordinate data and instruction data are collectively referred to as detection data in the present embodiment.
For example, the input panel 13 is an electromagnetic pen touch panel, when the electromagnetic pen sends an electromagnetic signal with a specific frequency to the input panel, the detection circuit 15 connected to the input panel 13 is used as a microcontroller to sequentially scan the X-axis and the Y-axis of the input panel, then calculate the absolute coordinates of the pen according to the magnitude of the signal, and transmit about 100 to 200 sets of coordinate data per second to the user terminal device U1 through the conversion circuit 14 and the main port 11.
In one embodiment, the detection circuit 15 includes an input terminal, an output terminal, and a signal detection chip, the input terminal of the detection circuit 15 is in signal connection with the input panel 13 and inputs the signal of the handwriting, the signal detection chip is used to convert the signal of the handwriting and/or the key operation into detection data, and the output terminal of the detection circuit 15 is connected with the HUB chip (i.e., the conversion circuit 14) and outputs the detection data. It can be understood that the HUB chip establishes a signal path between the detection circuit 15 and the USB-C interface (referred to herein as the main port 11), so that the coordinate data output by the detection circuit 15 is transmitted to the outside through the USB-C interface. When the power supply port 17 is connected to the charger, the PD chip 163 may control the power switch 161 to conduct the power supply port 17 and the main port 11, so as to charge the user terminal device U1. For example, the USB-C interface (here, the power supply port 17) supports 15W (5V/3A) by default, but after the USB-PD protocol is implemented, the output power can be supported to 100W (20V/5A) at maximum.
