3. A seat base as claimed in claim 1, in which the inner end of the first extension (21) is upwardly convex.

4. A chair seat as claimed in claim 1, wherein the peripheral side of the latch member (4) is provided with an annular projection, the surface of which is a circular arc.

5. A chair seat as claimed in claim 1, wherein the base (1) is provided with a plurality of mounting seats, and the latch member (4) is fixedly mounted on the mounting seats by means of fasteners.

6. A chair seat as claimed in claim 1, characterised in that said soft cushion (3) comprises a sponge and a cloth cover, the sponge being mounted above the plate (2) by means of gluing, embedding or rope-nesting.

The chair seat according to claim 1, wherein the lower surface of the connecting plate (2) protrudes downward to form a first protruding portion (22), the side wall of the first protruding portion (22) is parallel to the outer side wall of the connecting plate (2) and is close to the edge of the connecting plate (2), a plurality of second mounting holes (23) are uniformly distributed on the edge portion of the connecting plate (2), the second mounting holes (23) are all located on the outer side of the first protruding portion (22), the first protruding portion (22) extends outward to form a plurality of second extending members (24), the second extending members (24) correspond to the second mounting holes (23) one by one and are located below the second mounting holes (23), and the outer ends of the second extending members (24) protrude upward to form a second protruding portion (241).
