The upper rail 71 is in mating abutment with the first rail groove 73, so that the lid body 20 slides on the first body portion 13.

The middle portion of the locking piece 50 is provided with a first through hole 56 penetrating the upper surface 58 and the lower surface thereof, and the first through hole 56 is penetrated by the elastic column 30. The cross-sectional dimension of the first through opening 56 is large enough that the locking piece 50 can move back and forth at least in the gingival engaging direction, i.e. the first through opening 56 is sufficiently loose. In the present embodiment, the material of the locking block 50 is preferably the same as the material of the bracket body, and the material of the bracket body is a conventional material for orthodontic brackets.
The abutting end 54 of the locking piece 50 is engaged with the outer surface of the first main body 13. At the junction, the locking piece 50 and the first body portion 13 are each partially recessed to collectively form a second hole, the second hole is provided with internal threads, the bolt body 40 is provided with external threads, the second hole matches with the butt bolt body 40, and the butt end 54 of the locking piece 50 forms a portion of the bottom of the second hole, thereby at least limiting the movement of the locking piece 50 in the gingival engaging direction.
The portion of the locking end 52 near the bottom of the archwire slot 11 is a ramp that approaches the first body portion 13 in the direction from the opening of the archwire slot 11 to the bottom of the archwire slot 11. The inclined plane matches the profile arch wire 60 with an inclined plane.
