Description

Resin molded article and vehicle lamp
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a resin molded product in which a glittering vapor deposition layer is formed on a light-transmitting resin base material and selectively peeled off, thereby forming a decorative pattern, and a vehicle lamp using the resin molded product.
Background
In the related art, a technique for processing a decorative pattern on a resin molded product using a laser is known. For example, patent documents 1 to 3 disclose techniques of forming a bright vapor deposition layer on a surface of a transparent resin base material, and removing the vapor deposition layer from a decorative pattern by using a laser beam, thereby transmitting light of the decorative pattern from a laser-removed portion, and a vehicle lamp.
However, the resin molded articles disclosed in these patent documents are used as an inner lens, an outer lens, and the like positioned in front of the light source in the vehicle lamp. However, the techniques of patent documents 1 to 3 have the following problems as shown in fig. 7: even when the light source is not turned on, the decorative portion 31 subjected to the laser processing is visually recognized from the outside of the lamp in a blurred manner, and the appearance of the entire lamp is deteriorated.
As shown in fig. 8, when the glitter vapor-deposited layer 3 is provided on the inner surface of the outer lens 40 and the decorative pattern 31 is peeled off by the laser beam L, a part of the glitter vapor-deposited layer 3 may remain on the light-transmitting resin substrate 2 in the decorative pattern 31 region without being completely peeled off, and a residual vapor-deposited film 33 may be generated. If the vapor deposited film 34 that has been peeled off is still removable from the area of the decorative pattern 31 by air blowing or the like, the remaining vapor deposited film 33 that has not been completely peeled off remains fixed to the light-transmitting resin substrate 2 and thus cannot be removed. Therefore, the remaining vapor deposited film 33 is conspicuous and the appearance is deteriorated.

Detailed Description
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention embodied as side turn signal lamps will be described in detail based on the drawings.
[ example 1]
Fig. 1 shows a side turn signal lamp according to an embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 1 (a), the vehicle lamp 10 is a side turn signal lamp mounted on a door mirror 20, and includes an outer lens 40, which is a resin molded product 1, on a front surface of a lamp body 30 (see fig. 1 (b)), and a lamp chamber 50 is formed between the outer lens 40 and the lamp body 30. In the outer lens 40, the laterally long design portion 70 is formed to be exposed from the opening portion 80 of the door mirror 20, and the inner lens 90 is disposed inside the design portion 70. The structure is as follows: light emitted from an LED light source disposed at another place is guided by the inner lens 90 to perform planar light emission, and is emitted from the outer lens 40 to the outside of the lamp chamber 50.
As shown in the partially enlarged view of fig. 1 (b), a glitter vapor deposition layer 3 is formed on the inner wall of the outer lens 40, and a design surface 5 is formed by a decorative region 31 formed by selectively irradiating the laser light L to remove the glitter vapor deposition layer and a non-decorative region 32 which is not subjected to decorative processing. The outer surface of the outer lens 40 is formed with a semi-transmissive layer 4 by a semi-vapor deposition process.
Fig. 2 is an enlarged cross-sectional view illustrating the structure of the resin molded article 1 used for the outer lens 40. In the present embodiment, a plate-shaped resin molded product 1 is illustrated for convenience. The resin molded article 1 has: a light-transmitting resin base material 2; a glitter vapor deposition layer 3 formed on one surface of the light-transmitting resin substrate 2; and a semi-light-transmitting layer 4 formed on the surface opposite to the surface on which the bright vapor-deposition layer 3 is formed.
As the light-transmitting resin substrate 2, for example, acrylic resin, polycarbonate resin, or the like can be used. The shape is not particularly limited, and may be appropriately modified depending on the application.
The bright vapor deposition layer 3 is formed on one surface of the light-transmitting resin substrate 2 by vapor deposition treatment typified by aluminum vapor deposition or sputtering, and has light-shielding properties. The thickness of the bright vapor deposition layer 3 is preferably 80nm or more that can satisfy sufficient light-shielding properties.
Then, a part of the bright vapor deposition layer 3 is selectively irradiated with the laser light L and removed, thereby forming a decorative region 31 having a decorative pattern such as a linear pattern or a character, and forming the design surface 5 together with a non-decorative region 32 in which the decorative pattern is not formed without performing a decorative process.
The semi-transparent layer 4 is a layer that partially transmits light, and is configured such that a semi-vapor deposition treatment by aluminum vapor deposition is performed on the surface opposite to the design surface 5 formed on one surface of the light-transmitting resin substrate 2, thereby reducing the light transmittance. Instead of the semi-vapor deposition process, a process based on semi-painting, semi-decorative film, or the like may be used. The light transmittance of the semi-transparent layer 4 is 10% or less, preferably 5 to 10%.
Fig. 3 shows the appearance of the side turn signal lamp when it is not lit and when it is lit. When the light source 6 of the vehicular lamp 10 is not lit, the surface of the outer lens 40 formed of the resin molded product 1 of the present invention is not visually recognized from the front of the lamp by the semi-light-transmitting layer 4 after the semi-vapor deposition treatment, and the design surface 5 applied to the inner surface of the outer lens 40 is not visible. On the other hand, at the time of lighting, light emitted from the light source inside the lamp 10 transmits through the decorative region 31, the light-transmitting resin substrate 2, and the semi-light-transmitting layer 4 to such an extent that the light can be sufficiently visually recognized from the outside, and emits light to the outside of the lamp 10, and therefore, a decorative pattern such as a linear pattern or a character formed on the design surface 5 is expressed as decorative light, and a lamp appearance different from that at the time of non-lighting can be expressed.
[ example 2]
Fig. 4 is an enlarged cross-sectional view illustrating the structure of a resin molded article 1 showing a modification of the semi-transparent layer 4. The resin molded article 1 is formed of a colored light-transmitting resin base material 2, and the light-transmitting resin base material 2 itself doubles as a semi-light-transmitting layer 4. The light transmittance of the colored light-transmitting resin substrate 2 is 10% or less, preferably in the range of 5 to 10%. According to this modification, the design surface 5 can be made invisible from the front of the lamp without forming the semi-transmissive layer 4 separately subjected to a semi-vapor deposition treatment or the like.
[ example 3]
Fig. 5 is an enlarged cross-sectional view illustrating the structure of a resin molded article 1 showing a modification of the light-transmitting resin substrate 2. In the light-transmitting resin substrate 2 in the resin molded product 1, one surface is subjected to texturing to form a textured surface 21 having an uneven shape. The height of the irregularities formed by texturing is preferably about 25 nm. The glitter vapor-deposited layer 3 is formed on the grain-finished surface 21, and the glitter vapor-deposited layer 3 is selectively removed by the laser light L, thereby forming the design surface 5 including the decorative region 31 and the non-decorative region 32.
As shown in fig. 6, when a part of the bright vapor deposition layer 3 is removed by the laser light L and peeled off, a part of the bright vapor deposition layer 3 may become a residual vapor deposition film 33 and remain in a fixed state on the texture processing surface 21 of the decorative region 31. However, even if the residual vapor deposition film 33 is present, the decorative region 31 can be reflected by the textured processing surface 21, and a state in which the residual vapor deposition film 33 is less noticeable can be formed, and the occurrence of defective products can be reduced.
The present invention can be implemented by appropriately changing the shape and structure of each part as follows, for example, without departing from the scope of the present invention.
(1) The bright vapor-deposited layer 3 may be replaced with a colored layer formed of a light-shielding paint, or may be provided with the colored layer in addition to a layer formed by vapor deposition or sputtering. This can improve the light-shielding property and change the appearance of the decorative region 31.
(2) Instead of the method of forming the decorative region 31 by selectively removing and peeling off the glitter vapor-deposited layer 3 by the laser beam L, a method of forming the glitter vapor-deposited layer 3 by cutting a part of the glitter vapor-deposited film 3 with a cutter or by performing vapor deposition treatment after masking the decorative region 31 may be selected.
(3) The vehicle lamp 10 is not limited to the side turn signal lamp described in the embodiment, and can be applied to, for example, a vehicle lamp of each portion such as a position light, a daytime running light, and a rear combination lamp. The present invention can be applied to an inner lens, an outer lens, and other resin molded lenses of a vehicle lamp.
