The substrate 2 includes a supporting portion 20 for supporting the process cartridge 1, and a first bent portion 21 and a second bent portion 22 connected to the supporting portion 20, wherein the first bent portion 21 and the second bent portion 22 are both movable relative to the supporting portion 20, a dashed line L1 is located between the first bent portion 21 and the supporting portion 20, and a dashed line L2 is located between the second bent portion 22 and the supporting portion 20, and specifically, the first bent portion 21 and the second bent portion 22 can rotate around a dashed line L1 and a dashed line L2, respectively, in a plane perpendicular to a left-right direction (described below); accordingly, the tension member 3 has a covering portion 30 corresponding to the support portion 20, a first tensioning portion 31 corresponding to the first folded portion 21, and a second tensioning portion 32 corresponding to the second folded portion 22.
The process cartridge 1 is mountable to the packaging device 100 in the left-right direction (length direction) including a housing 11, a rotary 12 rotatably mounted in the housing 11, and a first end 13 and a second end 14 respectively located in the left-right direction, wherein the rotary 12 is located in front of the housing 11, and the process cartridge 1 further includes a first protruding portion 13a and a second protruding portion 14a located in the left-right direction of the housing 11, with respect to the orientation in which the process cartridge 1 is accommodated to the packaging device 100, defining the upper, lower, front, rear, left, and right directions as shown in the drawing.
The base plate 2 has a front end 2a and a rear end 2b, respectively, and the tension member 3 also has a front end 3a and a rear end 3b, respectively, and at least the front end 2a of the base plate is connected to the front end 3a of the tension member or the rear end 2b of the base plate is connected to the rear end 2b of the tension member before the process cartridge 1 is mounted to the packaging device 100, and preferably, the base plate 2 and the tension member 3 are completely connected in advance, that is, the front end 2a of the base plate is connected to the front end 3a of the tension member, and at the same time, the rear end 2b of the base plate is connected to the rear end 3b of the tension member, so that, after the process cartridge 1 is mounted, a process of connecting the base plate 2 and the tension member 3 does not have to be additionally spent.
As shown in fig. 2, an accommodating space S is formed between the substrate 2 and the tension member 3, and the process cartridge 1 can be mounted to the accommodating space S in the left-right direction, and in this process, if the size of the accommodating space S in the up-down direction is smaller than that of the process cartridge 1 in the up-down direction, an operator can pull the tension member 3 upward to drive the first bending portion 21 and the second bending portion 22 to be bent upward around the dotted line L1 and the dotted line L2, respectively, so as to ensure that the process cartridge 1 smoothly enters the accommodating space S in the left-right direction. As shown in fig. 3, when the process cartridge 1 is mounted to the accommodating space S, the housing 11 is covered by the tension member 3, and at this time, the tension member 3 is still in a relaxed state in which it is not tensioned.
Fig. 4 is a schematic view of the process cartridge fixed by the packing device according to the embodiment of the present invention; fig. 5 is a schematic view of the packaging device according to the embodiment of the present invention after being placed in a packaging box.
After the process cartridge 1 enters the accommodating space S, the operator bends the first folded part 21 and the second folded part 22 downward around the imaginary lines L1 and L2, respectively, so that the tension member 3 is gradually tensioned, as shown in fig. 4, at least a part of the first tensioning part 31 reaches below the support part 20 along with the first folded part 21, at least a part of the second tensioning part 32 reaches below the support part 20 along with the second folded part 22, and the cover part 30 is tensioned, and thus, the process cartridge 1 is fixed between the tension member 3 and the substrate 2, more specifically, the process cartridge 1 is fixed between the cover part 30 and the support part 20, and at this time, the first protruding part 13a and the second protruding part 14a are exposed in the left-right direction. Since the process cartridge 1 is pressed in the accommodating space S by the tensioned tension member 3, the process cartridge 1 is not released from the accommodating space S.
Subsequently, the fixed process cartridge 1 is put into the packing box 4 together with the packing device 100, also with respect to the orientation of the process cartridge 1, the packing box 4 has upper, lower, front, rear, left and right sides as shown in fig. 5, the packing box 4 has opposite left and right side walls 41 and 42 in the left-right direction, the packing box 4 has an opening 43 in the rear in the front-rear direction, and the packing device 100 with the process cartridge 1 fixed thereto is loaded into the cavity 40 of the packing box 4 through the opening 43. The left and right side walls 41 and 42 restrict the first and second projecting portions 13a and 14a of the process cartridge 1, respectively, in the left-right direction, and thus the process cartridge 1 is more stably positioned in the accommodating space S.
As described above, the packaging device 100 in the present embodiment includes only the base plate 2 and the tension member 3 connected to each other, and after the process cartridge 1 is mounted to the accommodating space S between the base plate 2 and the tension member 3, a part of the base plate 2 is folded (bent) to tension the tension member 3, so that the process cartridge 1 is press-fixed in the accommodating space S by the tension member 3; in the packaging device 100, it is not necessary to attach elastic members to the left and right ends of the process cartridge 1, and it is not necessary to prepare an inflated air bag in advance.
The elastic member of the background art must have good elasticity, and a concave part matched with the shape of the first protruding part 13a and the second protruding part 14a is formed on the elastic member, so that the first protruding part 13a and the second protruding part 14a can enter the concave part; in comparison, the base plate 2 and the tension member 3 in this embodiment have lower cost, generally, at least the bending portion of the base plate 2 is a cardboard or other flexible plate capable of being bent, the tension member 3 may be a stretch film or a belt or other member capable of being stretched and deformed, and the combination of the tension member 3 and the base plate 2 may be in a manner of gluing, welding, buckling, magnetic connection, or the like.
Generally, package 4 is in an unfolded flat shape before being used, which is convenient for production on the one hand, and can reduce the storage space of package 4 and facilitate transportation on the other hand, package 4 needs to be folded into a polygonal shape with cavity 40 from the unfolded flat shape before package 4 is used in a factory, so that base plate 2 can also be a part of the box body of package 4, that is, tensioning member 3 is directly connected with package 4, preferably, tensioning member 3 completes the connection with package 4 when package 4 is in a flat shape, and tensioning member 3 is tensioned along with the folding of package 4, so that processing box 1 is fixed between tensioning member 3 and package 4.
The base plate 2 is provided with a first bent portion 21 and a second bent portion 22 spaced apart in the front-rear direction, and the support portion is located between the two bent portions, so that a larger operating space is provided between the base plate 2 and the tension member 3 in the process of mounting the process cartridge 1 to the accommodating space S; however, as a modification of the present embodiment, it is also possible to realize that only one bent portion is provided in the substrate 2, for example, the substrate 2 includes a support portion 20 for supporting the process cartridge 1 and a first bent portion 21 connected to the support portion 20, and the first bent portion 21 is rotatable along the imaginary line L1 in a plane perpendicular to the left-right direction; meanwhile, the tension member 3 includes a covering portion 30 and a first tensioning portion 31 corresponding to the supporting portion 20 and the first folded portion 21, respectively, and both ends of the substrate 2 are connected to both ends of the tension member 3 in the front-rear direction, respectively. After the process cartridge 1 is mounted to the accommodating space S between the tension member 3 and the substrate 2, the process cartridge 1 can still be pressed and fixed in the accommodating space S by the tension member 3 only by bending the first bent portion 21.
Fig. 6 is a perspective view of a partial packaging apparatus according to an alternative embodiment of the present invention; fig. 7A and 7B are schematic views of the process cartridge after being inserted into the packing device according to the embodiment of the present invention.
As another modification of the present embodiment, the present embodiment further improves the structure of the base plate 2, and thus, the tension member 3 is not shown in fig. 6, 7A, and 7B. As shown in the drawing, the base plate 2 further includes a shutter 23 on both left and right sides of the support portion 20, the shutter 23 being for restraining the process cartridge 1 in the left-right direction, and in particular, the shutter 23 having a receiving groove 24 therein for receiving the first and second protrusions 13a and 14a, and preferably, the shutter 23 is integrally formed with the support portion 20. When the first projecting portion 13a and the second projecting portion 14a are received by the receiving groove 24, the process cartridge 1 is preliminarily fixed, and the process cartridge 1 does not easily fall off during the subsequent bending of the bent portion.
Based on this modification, the connection of the tension member 3 and the substrate 2 can be performed after the first protrusion 13a and the second protrusion 14a are received by the receiving groove 24, and since the process cartridge 1 is preliminarily fixed, the process cartridge 1 does not easily fall off during the connection of the tension member 3 and the substrate 2; further, the advantage of connecting the tension member 3 to the base plate 2 after that is also that the mounting of the process cartridge 1 is smoother without the blocking state of the tension member 3.
According to the structure of the packaging device 100, the present invention provides a method for packaging a process cartridge 1, as follows:
preparing an interconnectable base plate 2 and tension member 3;
placing the process cartridge 1 to be packaged to a predetermined position of the base plate 2;
a part of the substrate 2 is bent so that the tension member 3 is tensioned, and finally the process cartridge 1 is fixed in the accommodation space S between the substrate 2 and the tension member 3.
Wherein the step of connecting the substrate 2 to the tensioning member 3 may be performed either before the process cartridge 1 is placed at the predetermined position of the substrate 2 or after the process cartridge 1 is placed at the predetermined position of the substrate 2, preferably, when the latter is selected, the process cartridge 1 is preliminarily fixed on the substrate 2; the portion of the substrate 2 that is bent is located at a different position from the process cartridge 1.
After the process cartridge 1 is fixed by the packing device 100, the packing device 100 is accommodated in the packing box 4, and optionally the base plate 2 is a part of the packing box 4, in which case the tensioning member 3 is directly connected to the packing box 4.
As described above, the packaging device 100 is not only simple in structure, but also simple in operation when packaging the process cartridge 1, and is advantageous in reducing the material cost and the production cost by reducing the number, material, and process requirements of the packaging material.
