For example, in one embodiment, the first smoke barrier member and the second smoke barrier member are each configured to extend or retract the range hood housing 1200 to switch between the deployed state and the retracted state. The second smoke barrier member 1120 is shown here in an inverted form, as opposed to the form shown in figures 6-8, however it may also take the structural features of the first smoke barrier member 1110 as shown in figures 3-5, i.e., the second smoke barrier member 1120 is also shown in an extended/retracted form. a sliding driving motor for driving the first slider and the second slider to slide in the corresponding guide rails; or
And a holding unit provided on the top of at least one of the two guide rails to hold the slider fixed after the slider is slid in place.
5. The smoke collection cage of claim 4, wherein the slide mechanism further comprises:
the movement main shaft is fixedly connected with the first smoke baffle plate, and two ends of the movement main shaft are respectively connected with the first sliding block and the second sliding block in a rotatable mode through bearings; and
and the transmission unit comprises a driving gear arranged on the first sliding block and a driven gear arranged on the motion main shaft, and the driven gear is meshed with the driving gear.
6. A smoke collection cage according to claim 5 wherein the drive unit further comprises:
and the rotary driving motor is used for driving the driving gear to rotate so as to drive the movement main shaft to rotate.
7. A fume collecting hood according to any one of claims 4 to 6, wherein in the unfolded state, the included angle between the first fume baffle and the plane of the bottom of the box body of the range hood is 90-180 degrees.

14. A smoke collection cage according to claim 1, wherein the first and second smoke barrier members are each configured to extend or retract the range hood housing to switch between a deployed state and a retracted state.
15. A smoke collection cage according to claim 1, wherein the first smoke baffle member and the second smoke baffle member are each configured to flip open or fold relative to the range hood housing to switch between an expanded state and a folded state.
16. A range hood comprising a smoke collecting hood according to any one of claims 1 to 15.
17. The range hood of claim 16, further comprising a range hood housing, a fan assembly, and an oil screen.
