Unless defined otherwise, all technical and scientific terms used herein have the same meaning as commonly understood by one of ordinary skill in the art to which this invention belongs. The terminology used in the description of the invention herein is for the purpose of describing particular embodiments only and is not intended to be limiting of the invention.
Fig. 1 and 2 illustrate a portable oral care device 1 in some embodiments of the present invention, the portable oral care device 1 may be a dental prophylaxis device in some embodiments, and may include a main body 10, a reservoir 20 detachably mounted upside down with an open end on top of the main body 10, and an oral care implement 30 detachably mounted on the main body 10. The main body 10 can be used to accelerate the liquid from the reservoir 20 and eject it through the oral care implement 30. The reservoir 20 may in some embodiments preferably be a daily use reservoir (with an off-the-shelf interface) such as a plastic mineral water bottle, a plastic beverage bottle, etc. the mouth of which is typically provided with a standard interface adapted to the bottle cap, i.e. the size of this interface and its thread is of a universal nature. Therefore, in the using or transporting process, as long as the main machine 10 and the oral care implement 30 are equipped, a special liquid storage container is not required to be specially configured, the cost is reduced, and the carrying is convenient.
As shown in fig. 3, host 10 may include, in some embodiments, a housing 11, a pump assembly 12, a battery assembly 13, an interface assembly 14, a connector assembly 15, and a control circuit 16. The pump assembly 12 and the battery assembly 13 are disposed in the housing 11 and electrically connected to each other such that the battery assembly 13 feeds the pump assembly 12. The interface assembly 14 is used for detachably connecting with a bottle opening 21 of the liquid storage bottle 20, and can be disposed on the top of the housing 11 and communicate with the liquid inlet 121 of the pump assembly 12, so as to allow the liquid in the liquid storage bottle 20 to enter the pump assembly 12. The adapter assembly 15 may be disposed on a side of the housing 11 and communicate with the outlet opening 122 of the pump assembly 12 for forming an interface for removably connecting the oral care implements 30. The control circuit 16 is electrically connected to the pump assembly 12 and the battery assembly 13, respectively, to control the operation of the entire host 10. Battery assembly 13 may be a rechargeable battery assembly in some embodiments.
The housing 11 may include a lower case 111, an upper case 112 mounted on the lower case 111, and a front case 113 covering the lower case 111 and the upper case 112, wherein the lower case 111 and the upper case 112 define a receiving cavity for receiving the pump assembly 12, the battery assembly 13, and the control circuit 16. A receiving cavity 110 may be further formed between the lower shell 111 and the upper shell 112, and the receiving cavity 110 may be used for receiving the handle 31 and the spout 32 of the oral care implement 30.
Referring to fig. 4 and 5, the interface module 14 may include an interface 141 mounted on the upper shell 112, a gas supply pipe 142 for communicating the inside of the interface 141 with the external environment, and a check valve 143 disposed in the gas supply pipe 142. The interface 141 may include a bottom wall 1411 and a cylindrical sidewall 1412 formed on the bottom wall 1411 in some embodiments. The bottom wall 1411 is formed with a liquid inlet 1413 in communication with the liquid inlet 121 of the pump assembly 12 and a gas replenishing hole 1414 in communication with the gas replenishing pipe 142. The inner wall surface of the side wall 1412 is formed with an internal thread 1415 for screwing with the bottle opening 21 of the liquid bottle 20. It is to be understood that the interface 141 is not limited to the threaded form, and may be snap-fit in some embodiments. In some embodiments, the interface assembly 14 may also include a sealing ring to prevent leakage between the mouth of the bottle and the interface.
The interface 141 in some embodiments comprises a conventional standard interface that can be fitted to the mouth of a daily-used 350ml or 500ml bottle of mineral water, so that a user can use the bottle of mineral water available at hand as a reservoir without having to make a special reservoir, which on the one hand can reduce costs and on the other hand can be portable. It will be appreciated that the interface 141 may also be customizable in some applications. The interface 141 is preferably adapted to a mineral water bottle of less than 1000ml, in which case the size of the main body 10 can be made as small as possible.
The air supply line 142 may be made of a flexible tube in some embodiments, and a check valve 143 is disposed therein to prevent the liquid from leaking out, but may be used to supply air when the bottle is under negative pressure, so that the liquid can smoothly flow into the pump assembly 12 without leaking out. The one-way valve 143 may be made of a soft material in some embodiments, and includes a wedge-shaped flat head 1431 and a slit 1430 with capillary force formed on an end surface of the head 1431. When the liquid storage bottle 20 is not under negative pressure, the gap 1430 is blocked under the action of gravity and surface tension of liquid, and when the liquid storage bottle 20 is under negative pressure, outside air enters the liquid by overcoming the surface tension of the liquid, so that gas-liquid balance is realized.
As shown in FIG. 6, the oral care implement 30 may in some embodiments include a handle 31, a spout 32 mounted to a forward end of the handle 31, and a conduit 33 removably mounted to a rearward end of the spout 32. The spout 32 may also be removably mounted to the forward end of the handle 31 in some embodiments to allow for replacement of a different spout. The conduit 33 is detachably mounted to the rear end of the nozzle 32, so that the handle 31 can be conveniently stored in the storage cavity 110 of the main body 10 for convenient carrying (as shown in fig. 7).
As further shown in fig. 7, the host 10 may further include a mouthpiece cover 17 in some embodiments to cover the mouthpiece defined by the sidewalls 1412 of the mouthpiece assembly 14 during transportation to prevent foreign objects from falling into the mouthpiece assembly 14 and interfering with the installation of the reservoir 20.
It will be apparent that many modifications, in addition to those already described, may be made without departing from the inventive concept herein. The above-described embodiments are merely some preferred embodiments of the present invention. And is not intended to limit the present information in any way. Other variants and modifications are possible without departing from the scope of the invention as claimed.
