Hereinafter, embodiments for implementing the vehicle lamp according to the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
In the embodiments described below, the vehicle lamp according to the present invention is applied to a vehicle lamp such as a tail lamp disposed at a rear end portion of a vehicle body. The present invention can be widely applied to various vehicle lamps arranged in various portions of a vehicle body.
In the following description, the vehicle lamp is disposed at the rear end of the vehicle body, and the front, rear, up, down, left, and right directions are shown. However, the front, rear, upper, lower, left, and right directions shown below are for convenience of description only, and the embodiments of the present invention are not limited to these directions. In addition, an example of a vehicle lamp using an organic electroluminescence panel as a light source is shown below, and the organic electroluminescence panel also includes an organic electroluminescence display that displays characters, figures, and the like.
< Structure of vehicle body, etc. >
First, the structure and the like of a vehicle body in which the vehicle lamp 1 is disposed will be described (see fig. 1 to 3).
The vehicle body 100 in which the vehicle lamp 1 is disposed includes, for example, a vehicle body 101 including an upper portion, both side portions, and the like, and a rear door (tailgate) 102 that opens and closes with respect to the vehicle body 101. A ring-shaped door seal 150 called a weather strip is attached to the rear end portion of the vehicle body 101.
The rear door 102 has an outer panel 103 located on the outer side (rear side) and an inner panel 104 fixed to the outer panel 103 on the inner side (front side) of the outer panel 103.
The outer panel 103 is formed integrally with the respective portions by a glass material or a resin material, and has portions provided as light-shielding portions 105 and portions other than the light-shielding portions 105 and 105 as transparent portions 106, and 106.
The light shielding portion 105 is formed by two-color molding using a material having a light shielding color such as black in a part in the thickness direction, for example. The light shielding portion 105 may be formed by applying a coating such as black. One light shielding portion 105 is formed, for example, in an upper portion of the outer panel 103, and the other light shielding portion 105 is formed, for example, in a portion of a substantially lower half of the outer panel 103 excluding a portion.
The transparent parts 106, 106 are separately formed at the upper and lower sides. The upper transparent portion 106 is formed as a window 106a in a portion of the substantially upper half of the outer panel 103 excluding the upper portion. The lower transparent portions 106 and 106 are arranged to be spaced apart from each other in a state surrounded by the lower light shielding portion 105, and are formed as light transmitting portions 106b and 106 b.
The inner panel 104 is formed by integrating each part with a metal material or a resin material, and has a base portion 107 facing in the substantially front-rear direction, a peripheral surface portion 108 protruding rearward from a part of the outer periphery of the base portion 107, a fixed portion 109 continuous with the outer periphery of the base portion 107 or a rear end portion of the peripheral surface portion 108, and an annular frame portion 110 protruding rearward from the base portion 107.
Insertion holes 107a, 107a are formed in the base portion 107 at right and left intervals below the frame portion 110, and wire insertion holes 107b, 107b are formed below the insertion holes 107a, respectively. The base 107 is provided with attachment portions 111, … projecting rearward around the insertion hole 107 a. The mounting portion 111 has a screw groove opening rearward.
A latch 112 formed of a metal material is mounted to a lower end portion of the circumferential surface portion 108 in the inner panel 104.
The fixed portion 109 of the inner panel 104 is fixed to the inner surface of the outer peripheral portion of the outer panel 103 by, for example, adhesion. The fixed portion 109 of the inner panel 104 is fixed to the inner surface of the outer panel 103 by adhesion over the entire circumference, and therefore the outer peripheral portion is fixed to the outer panel 103 in a sealed state. In a state where the inner panel 104 is fixed to the outer panel 103, the frame-shaped portion 110 is positioned on the front side of the peripheral portion of the window 106a, and the insertion holes 107a, 107a are positioned directly in front of the light transmitting portions 106b, respectively.
The rear door 102 is coupled to the vehicle body 101 via a hinge mechanism 151, for example, at the upper end of the inner panel 104, and can be opened and closed so as to move vertically relative to the vehicle body 101 with the hinge mechanism 151 as a fulcrum.
The rear door 102 is locked to the vehicle body 101 by a latch 112 in a state of being closed with respect to the vehicle body 101. At this time, the outer peripheral portion of the inner panel 104 is pressed against the door seal 150 attached to the rear end portion of the vehicle body 101, thereby ensuring the sealing between the rear door 102 and the vehicle body 101.
The light transmitting portion 106b of the outer panel 103 functions as a cover that covers the vehicle lamp 1 from behind, and the vehicle lamp 1 is disposed on the inner surface side of the outer panel 103. However, the outer panel 103 functions as a cover, and thus can be used as a part of the vehicle lamp 1.
In a configuration having an outer panel and an inner panel other than the rear door 102, the vehicle lamp 1 may be disposed on the inner surface side of the outer panel. For example, in a structure having an outer panel and an inner panel in the vehicle body 101, the outer panel may be disposed on the inner surface side of the outer panel.
Integral structure of vehicle lamp
Next, the overall configuration of the vehicle lamp 1 will be described (see fig. 2 and 3).
The vehicle lamp 1 includes a bracket 2, a light source 3, a seal member 4, and an inner cover 5.
The holder 2 is formed by integrating respective parts with each other by, for example, a resin material or a metal material, and has a cylindrical part 6 whose axial direction is the front-rear direction, a partition part 7 partitioning the inner space of the cylindrical part 6 front-rear direction, and a flange-like attached part 8 protruding outward from the front end part of the cylindrical part 6.
The cylindrical portion 6 is formed in a substantially square cylindrical shape, for example, and the portion excluding the distal end portion is provided as an insertion portion 6a and the distal end portion is provided as a protruding portion 6 b. A rear space formed by being partitioned by the partition portion 7 in the internal space of the cylindrical portion 6 is formed as a holding space 6c for holding the light source 3. A plurality of screw insertion holes are formed in the attached portion 8 at intervals in the circumferential direction.
As the light source 3, for example, an organic EL panel (organic electroluminescence panel) which is a planar light source is used. As the light source 3, other light sources may be used, and for example, a planar light source having a structure in which a Light Emitting Diode (LED) is mounted on a bendable substrate may be used. The light source 3 is mounted on the holder 2, held in the holding space 6c, and emits light rearward.
The seal member 4 is formed in a ring shape from an elastically deformable material such as a rubber material or a foam material, and is attached to the rear end portion of the cylindrical portion 6 of the holder 2.
The inner cover 5 is formed in a case shape opened rearward, for example, from a resin material or a metal material.
A grommet (grommet)9 is attached to the partition 7 of the holder 2 in an inserted state, a part of the first electric wire 10 is held in the grommet 9 in an inserted state, and one end of the first electric wire 10 is connected to the light source 3 held in the holding space 6 c. A first connector portion 11 is connected to the other end of the first wire 10.
The second electric wire 12 is inserted into the electric wire insertion hole 107b of the inner panel 104. The second connector portion 13 is connected to one end of the second wire 12, and the other end is connected to a power supply circuit, not shown. The second connector portion 13 is connected to the first connector portion 11. Therefore, a drive current is supplied from the power supply circuit to the light source 3 via the second wire 12 and the first wire 10, and light is emitted from the light source 3 by the supply of the drive current. A part of the branch of the second electric wire 12 is connected to the latch 112. The second electric wire 12 is grounded by being connected to the latch 112.
The following describes a mounting procedure of the vehicle lamp 1 to the rear door 102 (see fig. 2 and 4).
First, in a state where each part of the second electric wires 12 connected to the power circuit is connected to the latch 112 and inserted into the electric wire insertion hole 107b, the bracket 2 on which the light source 3, the sealing member 4, and the first electric wires 10 are mounted is inserted from the front into the insertion hole 107a of the inner panel 104.
The insertion portion 6a of the holder 2 is inserted into the insertion hole 107a, and the protruding portion 6b and the attached portion 8 are positioned on the front side of the base portion 107. When the insertion portion 6a is inserted into the insertion hole 107a, the sealing member 4 is pressed against the inner surface of the lower light shielding portion 105 of the outer panel 103, and the rear end portion of the cylindrical portion 6 is pressed against the sealing member 4.
By pressing the sealing member 4 against the inner surface of the light shielding portion 105, the holding space 6c is formed as a closed space, and the light source 3 is positioned directly in front of the light transmitting portion 106b in the holding space 6c formed as the closed space.
Next, the attached portion 8 is screwed to the attaching portions 111, … by the attaching screws 20, …, and the bracket 2 is fixed to the inner panel 104. The first connector portion 11 and the second connector portion 13 are connected with the bracket 2 fixed to the inner panel 104.
At this time, since the mounting portions 111, … and the mounted portion 8 are located on the outer surface side of the base portion 107 in the inner panel 104, it is difficult for a jig such as a screwdriver to interfere with the inner panel 104, the bracket 2, or the like, and the screw fastening work can be performed easily and quickly. Further, even when the work of detaching the bracket 2 from the inner panel 104 is required, since it is difficult for a jig such as a screwdriver to interfere with the inner panel 104, the bracket 2, and the like, the work of detaching the bracket 2 from the inner panel 104 can be easily and quickly performed.
Next, the inner cover 5 is attached to the base portion 107 of the inner panel 104 by, for example, screw fastening, engagement, or the like in a state of covering the bracket 2 from behind, and the work of attaching the vehicle lamp 1 to the rear door 102 is completed. In a state where the inner cover 5 is attached to the base 107 in a state of covering the holder 2, the first electric wire 10, the second electric wire 12, and the attachment screws 20, … are also covered from the front by the inner cover 5.
The above description has been given of the example in which the bracket 2 is attached to the inner panel 104 by screw fastening, but the attachment of the bracket 2 to the inner panel 104 is not limited to screw fastening, and if the bracket 2 is configured to be attachable to and detachable from the inner panel 104, other methods than screw fastening, such as engagement or press-fitting, may be used.
< summary >
As described above, the vehicle lamp 1 includes: a light source 3, light emitted from which is transmitted through the transparent part 106; a bracket 2 having a mounted portion 8 that is detachably mounted to the mounting portion 111, and at least a part of which is inserted into the insertion hole 107 a; and a sealing member 4 which is in close contact with the inner surface of the outer panel 103 in a state where one end portion of the holder 2 is pressed, and which forms the holding space 6c as a closed space.
Therefore, the holder 2 can be detached from the inner panel 104, and the holding space 6c for holding the light source 3 can be formed as a closed space by the sealing member 4 being in close contact with the inner surface of the outer panel 103.
Thus, for example, by improving the maintainability in the case of performing maintenance work such as replacement of the light source 3 and the sealing property of the holding space 6c in which the light source 3 is disposed, it is possible to prevent foreign matter such as dust, moisture, or insects from entering the holding space 6 c.
Since the pressing direction of the holder 2 against the seal member 4 and the insertion direction of the holder 2 into the insertion hole 107a are set to be the same direction, when the holder 2 is inserted into the insertion hole 107a, one end of the holder 2 is pressed against the seal member 4, and the seal member 4 is brought into close contact with the inner surface of the outer panel 103.
Therefore, the insertion of the bracket 2 into the insertion hole 107a and the close contact of the seal member 4 with the outer panel 103 are performed at the same time, and the workability in the assembling work of the vehicle lamp 1 can be improved.
The attached portion 8 is attached to the attachment portion 111 by screw fastening, and the attachment direction of the attached portion 8 to the attachment portion 111 and the pressing direction of the holder 2 to the seal member 4 are set to the same direction.
Therefore, the bracket 2 is displaced in a direction approaching the inner panel 104 by the screw fastening work, whereby the sealing member 4 can be brought into close contact with the inner surface of the outer panel 103, and therefore, the screw fastening work and the close contact of the sealing member 4 with the outer panel 103 are simultaneously performed, and the workability in the assembling work of the vehicle lamp 1 can be further improved.
Further, since the attached portion 8 is located on the outer surface side of the inner panel 104, the attaching operation and the detaching operation of the inner panel 104 to and from the bracket 2 can be performed on the outer surface side of the inner panel 104, and the attaching operation and the detaching operation of the bracket 2 can be performed quickly and easily.
An inner cover 5 is also provided, which is mounted to the inner panel 104 and covers the bracket 2 from the side opposite to the outer panel 103.
Therefore, since the holder 2 is closed by the inner cover 5, the holder 2 does not erroneously touch the mounted portion 8 or the mounting portion 111, and a stable mounting state of the holder 2 to the inner panel 104 can be ensured, and adhesion of dust and moisture to the holder 2 can be prevented.
