The cooking appliance of the present invention generally includes a pot body and a lid body (not shown). The cooker body is basically in a round-corner cuboid shape and is provided with an inner pot accommodating cavity in a cylindrical shape, and the inner pot can be freely put into or taken out of the inner pot accommodating cavity so as to be convenient for cleaning the inner pot. The cooking appliance according to claim 1, wherein the shroud (122) comprises a bottom wall (124) proximate to the base wall and a pair of side walls (125) disposed on either side of the bottom wall (124), the bottom wall (124) and the pair of side walls (125) partially enclosing the wire terminals (121).
4. The cooking appliance according to claim 3, wherein the bottom wall (124) extends from the body portion (123) for a length greater than a length of the side wall (125) extending from the body portion (123).
5. The cooking appliance according to claim 3, wherein the shroud (122) is formed with an opening (127) between the side walls (125) opposite the bottom wall (124).
6. The cooking appliance according to claim 3, wherein the bottom wall (124) comprises a horizontal portion (128) and inclined portions (129) disposed on both sides of the horizontal portion (128), the horizontal portion (128) being connected to the side walls (125) by the inclined portions (129).
