Two sides of the second containing space are respectively provided with a buckling arm. Wherein, the buckling arm forms an opening. One end of the electric terminal is arranged in the second accommodating space, and the other end of the electric terminal protrudes out of the second accommodating space. When the male head is combined with the female seat, the convex block of the male head props against the buckling arm, so that the buckling arm moves from a first position to a second position until the convex block is inserted into the opening, and the buckling arm recovers from the second position to the first position or moves from the first position to the second position, so that the male head is separated from the female seat.
Compared with the prior art, the connector comprises a male connector, a female connector and an electric terminal, the flexible flat cable can be locked in the accommodating space through the locking piece at the male connector, the buckling pieces at two sides of the male connector are combined with the buckling arms of the female connector, and particularly the male connector and the female connector can be locked and unlocked through the action between the convex blocks of the buckling pieces and the openings of the buckling arms.

In fig. 1, the connector 10 can be used to connect a flexible flat cable (not shown) to a circuit board (not shown). Wherein, two sides of the front edge of the flexible flat cable are respectively provided with a notch.
The connector 10 includes a male connector 12, a female connector 14 and an electrical terminal 16.
Referring to fig. 2a and 2b together, fig. 2a is a schematic structural view illustrating a first housing of the male connector of fig. 1 and fig. 2b is a schematic structural view illustrating a second housing of the male connector of fig. 1. The male portion 12 includes a first housing 122 and a second housing 124. The first housing 122 and the second housing 124 may be integrally formed or separate components. The first housing 122 and the second housing 124 may be made of metal or nonmetal.
The first housing 122 and the second housing 124 form a first receiving space FSP for receiving the flexible flat cable.
A surface 1222 of the first housing 122 forms a locking member 1224 for locking the notch of the flexible flat cable. In the present embodiment, the locking member 1224 is illustrated as two elastic pieces, which are respectively referred to as a first elastic piece 12242 and a second elastic piece 12244. Taking the first elastic piece 12242 as an example, one end of the first elastic piece 12242 is connected to the surface 1222, and the free end of the first elastic piece 12242 extends from the surface 1222 toward the first receiving space FSP at an angle, that is, the free end of the first elastic piece 12242 extends obliquely toward the first receiving space FSP. Here, the free end of the first elastic piece 12242 and the free end of the second elastic piece 12244 extend in opposite directions, respectively. The first elastic piece 12242 and the second elastic piece 12244 are used for limiting the notch of the flexible flat cable. The length between the end of the free end of the first elastic piece 12242 and the end of the free end of the second elastic piece 12244 is not greater than the length of the gap.
The side of the first housing 122 forms a fastener 1226. One end 162 of the electrical terminal 16 is disposed in the second receiving space SSP, and the other end 164 protrudes out of the second receiving space SSP. The projection 1228 of the male portion 12 abuts against the engaging arm 142, such that the engaging arm 142 moves from the first position P1 to the second position P2 until the projection 1228 is inserted into (or dropped into) the opening 1422, and the engaging arm 142 returns from the second position P2 to the first position P1 (i.e. moves in the-X direction), such that the female portion 14 is locked to the male portion 12.
Although the embodiments of the present disclosure have been described above, it should be understood that various changes in the form, construction, features, methods and quantities described in the claims may be made by those skilled in the art without departing from the spirit and scope of the present disclosure, and therefore the scope of the present disclosure should not be limited by the claims appended hereto.
