Referring to fig. 1-6, in one exemplary embodiment, the blade terminal 100 is adapted to be inserted into a receptacle 201 of a circuit board 200. The blade terminal 100 includes: a planar body portion 1 and at least one pin 2. The main body portion includes a base portion 11 and a folded portion 12. The base 11 is provided with a first socket 111 extending from a first end (lower end in fig. 1 and 2) of the base 11. The folded portion 12 is superposed on the base portion 11 in a folded manner from a second end (upper end in fig. 1 and 2) of the base portion 11 opposite to the first end, the folded portion 12 being provided with a second mating portion 121 at least partially superposed on the first mating portion 111. At least one pin 2 extends parallel to the base part 11 from a first end of the base part 11 outside the first plug part 111. As shown in fig. 5 and 6, when the blade terminal 100 is mounted on the circuit board 200, the first mating part 111 and the second mating part 121 form an interference fit with the insertion hole 201 of the circuit board 200 through the protruding part 3, so that the blade terminal 100 can be stably mounted on the circuit board in a posture perpendicular to the circuit board.

As shown in fig. 1 to 6, the coupling portion includes a coupling groove 113 formed on the base portion 11, and the mating coupling portion includes a coupling protrusion 122 formed on the folded portion 12 to be mated with the coupling protrusion.
In one embodiment, the coupling protrusion 122 is riveted into the coupling groove 113 to firmly overlap the folded portion 12 on the base 11 and to give the main body 1 a desired thickness and strength.

In an exemplary embodiment, as shown in fig. 7 and 8, in the tab terminal 100 ", three protrusions 3 arranged in an inverted triangle are provided on the mating part 121 extending from the folded part 12. According to another aspect of the present invention, as shown in fig. 5 and 6, there is provided an electronic device 1000, including: a plurality of blade terminals 100 according to any of the above embodiments; and a circuit board 200 provided with a plurality of jacks 201. The pin 2 of each blade terminal 100 partially protrudes from one side (upper side) of the circuit board 200 through the corresponding insertion hole 201 from the other side (lower side) of the circuit board 200 and is electrically connected to a pad 202 provided on the other side of the circuit board, and the boss portion 3 is at least partially received in the insertion hole 201, so that the first and second mating portions 111 and 121 form an interference fit with the insertion hole 201 of the circuit board 200 through the boss portion 3. Thus, the blade terminal 100 can be mounted on the circuit board with stability in a posture perpendicular to the circuit board 200.
After the blade terminals are mounted to the circuit board, the wires may be electrically connected to the body portions of the blade terminals, such as by connecting the wires to through holes 114 formed in the body portions.
In the case where the blade terminal 100 is mounted on the circuit board 200, the pins 2 may be partially cut off, leaving a predetermined length of the pins 2 exposed from the circuit board 200, for example, 0.2 to 0.5 mm. The pin 2 may be electrically connected to the pad 202 of the other side (lower side) of the circuit board 200 by means of solder 203 by soldering. In one embodiment, the pins extending out of the other side of the circuit board 200 may be bent onto the pads 202 such that the pins 2 are in electrical contact with the pads 202, and the pins 2 and pads 202 may be covered and fixed with solder 203.
In one embodiment, as shown in fig. 5 and 6, the width of the receptacle 201 of the circuit board 200 is in the range of 0.925 mm to 1.075 mm. The adhesive tape 500 is adapted to adhere the pins 2 of the tab terminals 100 to the carrier tape 400 with one tab terminal 100 disposed between two adjacent perforations 401.

1. A tab terminal, comprising:
a planar body portion, said body portion comprising:
a base portion provided with a first plug portion extending from a first end of the base portion; and
a folded portion which is folded and superposed on the base portion from a second end of the base portion opposite to the first end, the folded portion being provided with a second mating portion which is at least partially superposed on the first mating portion; and
at least one prong extending from the first end of the body portion outside of the mating portion,
the plug comprises a first plug part, a second plug part and a plug hole, and is characterized in that at least one bulge part is arranged on at least one of the first plug part and the second plug part, so that the first plug part and the second plug part form interference fit with the plug hole of a circuit board through the bulge part.

5. A blade terminal as claimed in claim 4, wherein the end of the centrally located one of the projections adjacent the pin is ramped.
6. A blade terminal as claimed in claim 4, wherein the width of the centrally located one of the projections is greater than the widths of the other two projections.
7. A blade terminal as claimed in claim 2 or 3, wherein the raised portion includes a bump formed by stamping from at least one of the first and second mating portions, the bump being configured to form an interference fit with a receptacle of a circuit board.
8. A tab terminal as in any of claims 1-3, wherein the body portion is provided with outwardly extending tabs on both sides adjacent the first end.
9. A tab terminal according to claim 2 or 3, wherein a bonding portion is provided on one of the base portion and the folded portion, and a mating bonding portion is provided on the other of the base portion and the folded portion, the bonding portion being bonded to the mating bonding portion to hold the folded portion in a state of being superposed on the base portion.
10. A tab terminal as in claim 9, wherein the bonding portion comprises a bonding groove formed on the base portion and the mating bonding portion comprises a bonding protrusion formed on the folded portion.
11. A tab terminal as in claim 10, wherein the coupling protrusion is riveted into the coupling slot.
12. A tab terminal according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the maximum thickness of the first and second mating parts at the raised portion is in the range of 0.98 mm to 1.03 mm.
13. An electronic device, comprising:
a plurality of tab terminals according to any one of claims 1-12; and
a circuit board, a plurality of jacks are arranged on the circuit board,
wherein the pin of each blade terminal partially protrudes from one side of the circuit board through the corresponding insertion hole from the other side of the circuit board and is electrically connected to the pad provided at the other side of the circuit board, and the protrusion is at least partially received in the insertion hole, so that the first and second insertion parts form an interference fit with the insertion hole of the circuit board through the protrusion.
14. The electronic device of claim 13, wherein the width of the receptacle is in a range of 0.925 millimeters to 1.075 millimeters.
15. A terminal assembly, comprising:
the bearing belt is provided with a row of through holes;
a plurality of tab terminals according to any one of claims 1-12; and
an adhesive tape adapted to adhere the pins of the tab terminals to the carrier tape with one tab terminal disposed between two adjacent perforations.

two rows of blade terminals according to any of claims 1-12, the pins of the two rows of blade terminals being at least partially or fully staggered; and

17. The terminal punch strip of claim 16, wherein the connecting portion is located adjacent the first end of the body portion of each blade terminal, the connecting portions of two adjacent blade terminals serving as tabs of the blade terminals after severing.
