a sound generating device capable of generating sound;

The watch according to claim 2, wherein the sound-transmitting hole includes an inner opening communicating with the inner cavity and an outer opening communicating with an outside of the case, and the sound-transmitting hole is a trumpet hole in which an area of the outer opening is larger than an area of the inner opening.
8. A watch as claimed in claim 2, characterised in that the axis of the sound-conveying hole forms an angle with the plane of the dial, said angle not being a right angle.
9. A watch as claimed in claim 2, characterised in that a sound cone is provided in the internal chamber, the sound produced by the sound generating means being reflected by the sound cone more into the sound transmission aperture.
10. A watch according to claim 2, wherein a sound-collecting member is provided in the inner chamber, the sound-collecting member having an arcuate surface provided around the sound-transmitting hole, the arcuate surface being capable of reflecting the sound emitted from the sound-emitting device toward a location where the sound-transmitting hole is provided.
11. A watch according to claim 2, wherein the protective cover is provided with a sealing member capable of sealing the sound-transmitting hole, the sealing member effecting sealing of the sound-transmitting hole by being elastically deformed.
12. The watch of claim 4, wherein the protective cover covers the first cover, the dial has an area smaller than a cross-sectional area of the barrel, and the protective cover is provided with a window for exposing the dial, so that the case can be read when in the protective state.
