According to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, when the connector is mated with the other connector, the first wall and the second wall of the connector are inserted into the second slot and the first slot of the other connector, respectively, and the first wall and the second wall of the other connector are inserted into the second slot and the first slot of the connector, respectively.
According to another exemplary embodiment of the present invention, when the connector is mated with the other connector, the first contact portion of the connector is in electrical contact with the second contact portion of the other connector, and the first contact portion of the other connector is in electrical contact with the second contact portion of the connector.

According to another exemplary embodiment of the present invention, a plurality of first terminals are provided in the insulating housing, the plurality of first terminals are arranged in a line along a length direction of the first wall, and adjacent two first terminals are spaced apart by a predetermined interval; and a plurality of second terminals are provided in the insulating case, the second terminals corresponding to the first terminals, respectively, the second terminals being arranged in a line along a length direction of the second wall, and two adjacent second terminals being spaced apart by a predetermined pitch.

According to a general technical concept of the present invention, there is provided a connector, including: an insulating housing; a first terminal held in the insulating housing; and a second terminal held in the insulating housing. The insulating housing includes a first wall, a second wall and a third wall arranged side by side, a first slot defined between the first wall and the second wall, and a second slot defined between the second wall and the third wall; the first terminal includes a first contact portion disposed on an inner side of the first wall, and the second terminal includes a second contact portion disposed on a side of the second wall facing the third wall; the first and second walls are adapted to be inserted into the second and first slots, respectively, such that the connector is adapted to mate with another connector that is identical to itself.
Fig. 1 shows a schematic perspective view of a connector according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention; fig. 2 shows a schematic view of the connector shown in fig. 1 mated with another connector identical thereto.
As shown in fig. 1 and 2, in the illustrated embodiment, the connector mainly includes: an insulative housing 100, a first terminal 10, and a second terminal 20. The first terminal 10 and the second terminal 20 are held in the insulative housing 100.
As shown in fig. 1 and 2, in the illustrated embodiment, the insulating housing 100 includes a first wall 110, a second wall 120, and a third wall 130 arranged side-by-side. A first slot 101 is defined between the first wall 110 and the second wall 120 and a second slot 102 is defined between the second wall 120 and the third wall 130.
As shown in fig. 1 and 2, in the illustrated embodiment, the first terminal 10 includes a first contact portion 11 disposed on an inner side of the first wall 110, and the second terminal 20 includes a second contact portion 21 disposed on a side of the second wall 120 facing the third wall 130.
As shown in fig. 1 and 2, in the illustrated embodiment, the first wall 110 and the second wall 120 are adapted to be inserted into the second slot 102 and the first slot 101, respectively, such that the connector is adapted to mate with another connector that is identical to itself.
As shown in fig. 1 and 2, in the illustrated embodiment, when the connector is mated with another connector, the first wall 110 and the second wall 120 of the connector are inserted into the second slot 102 and the first slot 101 of the other connector, respectively, and the first wall 110 and the second wall 120 of the other connector are inserted into the second slot 102 and the first slot 101 of the connector, respectively.
As shown in fig. 1 and 2, in the illustrated embodiment, when the connector is mated with another connector, the first contact portion 11 of the connector is in electrical contact with the second contact portion 21 of the other connector, and the first contact portion 11 of the other connector is in electrical contact with the second contact portion 21 of the connector.
As shown in fig. 1 and 2, in the illustrated embodiment, a first holding groove is formed on the inner side of the first wall 110, in which the first contact portion 11 of the first terminal 10 is held; a second holding groove is formed on a side of the second wall 120 facing the third wall 130, and the second contact portion 21 of the second terminal 20 is held in the second holding groove.
As shown in fig. 1 and 2, in the illustrated embodiment, each of the first contact portion 11 and the second contact portion 21 is an arc-shaped elastic contact portion that is elastically deformable.
As shown in fig. 1 and 2, in the illustrated embodiment, the first terminal 10 further includes a first fixing portion 12, the first fixing portion 12 is fixed in the first wall 110, and the first contact portion 11 is connected to an upper end of the first fixing portion 12.
As shown in fig. 1 and 2, in the illustrated embodiment, the first terminal 10 further includes a first soldering portion 13, and the first soldering portion 13 is connected to a lower end of the first fixing portion 12 and exposed from a bottom surface of the insulative housing 100 so as to be soldered to a circuit board (not shown).
As shown in fig. 1 and 2, in the illustrated embodiment, the second terminal 20 further includes a second fixing portion 22, the second fixing portion 22 being fixed in the second wall 120, and the second contact portion 21 being connected to an upper end of the second fixing portion 22.
As shown in fig. 1 and 2, in the illustrated embodiment, the second terminal 20 further includes a second soldering portion 23, and the second soldering portion 23 is connected to a lower end of the second fixing portion 22 and exposed from a bottom surface of the insulative housing 100 so as to be soldered to the circuit board.
As shown in fig. 1 and 2, in the illustrated embodiment, a plurality of first terminals 10 are provided in an insulating housing 100, the plurality of first terminals 10 are arranged in a line along a length direction of a first wall 110, and adjacent two first terminals 10 are spaced apart by a predetermined interval.
As shown in fig. 1 and 2, in the illustrated embodiment, a plurality of second terminals 20 respectively corresponding to the plurality of first terminals 10 are provided in the insulative housing 100, the plurality of second terminals 20 are arranged in a row along the length direction of the second wall 120, and adjacent two second terminals 20 are spaced apart by a predetermined interval.
As shown in fig. 1 and 2, in the illustrated embodiment, the first solder parts 13 of the plurality of first terminals 10 and the second solder parts 23 of the plurality of second terminals 20 have solder surfaces that are located in the same plane, so that the plurality of first terminals 10 and the plurality of second terminals 20 are adapted to be surface-mount soldered to a circuit board.

1. A connector, comprising:
an insulating housing (100);
a first terminal (10) held in the insulating housing (100); and
a second terminal (20) held in the insulating housing (100),

the insulating housing (100) comprises a first wall (110), a second wall (120) and a third wall (130) arranged side by side, a first slot (101) is defined between the first wall (110) and the second wall (120), and a second slot (102) is defined between the second wall (120) and the third wall (130);
the first terminal (10) comprises a first contact portion (11) arranged on an inner side of the first wall (110), the second terminal (20) comprises a second contact portion (21) arranged on a side of the second wall (120) facing the third wall (130);
the first wall (110) and the second wall (120) are adapted to be inserted into the second slot (102) and the first slot (101), respectively, such that the connector is adapted to mate with another connector that is identical to itself.
2. The connector of claim 1, wherein:
when the connector is mated with the other connector, the first wall (110) and the second wall (120) of the connector are inserted into the second slot (102) and the first slot (101) of the other connector, respectively, and the first wall (110) and the second wall (120) of the other connector are inserted into the second slot (102) and the first slot (101) of the connector, respectively.
3. The connector of claim 1, wherein:
when the connector is mated with the other connector, the first contact portion (11) of the connector is in electrical contact with the second contact portion (21) of the other connector, and the first contact portion (11) of the other connector is in electrical contact with the second contact portion (21) of the connector.
4. The connector of claim 1, wherein:
a first holding groove in which a first contact portion (11) of the first terminal (10) is held is formed on an inner side of the first wall (110);
a second holding groove is formed on a side of the second wall (120) facing the third wall (130), in which second holding groove a second contact portion (21) of the second terminal (20) is held.
5. The connector of claim 1, wherein:
the first contact portion (11) and the second contact portion (21) are both elastically deformable arc-shaped elastic contact portions.
6. The connector of claim 1, wherein:
the first terminal (10) further includes a first fixing portion (12), the first fixing portion (12) being fixed in the first wall (110), the first contact portion (11) being connected to an upper end of the first fixing portion (12).
7. The connector of claim 6, wherein:
the first terminal (10) further includes a first soldering portion (13), and the first soldering portion (13) is connected to a lower end of the first fixing portion (12) and exposed from a bottom surface of the insulating housing (100) so as to be soldered to a circuit board.
8. The connector of claim 7, wherein:
the second terminal (20) further includes a second fixing portion (22), the second fixing portion (22) being fixed in the second wall (120), the second contact portion (21) being connected to an upper end of the second fixing portion (22).
9. The connector of claim 8, wherein:
the second terminal (20) further includes a second soldering portion (23), and the second soldering portion (23) is connected to a lower end of the second fixing portion (22) and exposed from a bottom surface of the insulative housing (100) so as to be soldered to a circuit board.
10. The connector according to any one of claims 1-9, wherein:
a plurality of first terminals (10) are arranged in the insulating shell (100), the plurality of first terminals (10) are arranged in a row along the length direction of the first wall (110), and two adjacent first terminals (10) are separated by a preset interval; and is
