Referring to fig. 1, 2 and 3, the paper local film-coating type film cutting mechanism applied to an automatic film coating machine of the invention comprises a wall plate 1, a film placing roller 3 and a film cutting roller 9 (and a film guiding roller 8), wherein a knife rest group cross rod 15 is arranged on the wall plate 1 and at the side edge of the film cutting roller 9, a plurality of knife rest groups 11 are arranged on the knife rest group cross rod 15, and blades 17 of the knife rest groups 11 are butted with the film cutting roller 9 (the surface thereof); a vent pipe 5 (which is arranged on the wall plate 1 through a vent pipe seat 4 and a wall plate fixing seat 2) is arranged on the wall plate 1 and between the film placing roller 3 and the knife rest group cross rod 15 (closer to the knife rest group cross rod 15), and a waste film inlet 23 corresponding to the knife rest component is arranged on the vent pipe 5.
