Referring to fig. 1 to 3, the insulation base 20 includes a base portion 21, and a first insertion hole 25 and a second insertion hole 26 penetrating the base portion 21 in a front-back direction. The base portion 21 includes a lower surface 22b attached to the printed circuit board 10, an upper surface 22a opposite to the lower surface 22b, a first side surface 23a, a second side surface 23b, and a front end abutting surface 24. The plug 30 is assembled or integrally formed in the first jack 25, the audio terminal 40 is assembled in the second jack 26, the first side 23a is located outside the first jack 25, and the second side 23b is located outside the second jack 26. The outer wall surface of the first side surface 23a is provided with a fixing groove 28 for mounting the fixing piece 50. The second jack 26 is provided with a plurality of terminal grooves 27 for inserting the audio terminal 40 on the second side surface 23b, the abutting surface 24 and the rear end surface, and the terminal grooves 27 include a plurality of first terminal grooves 271 formed on the outer side surface of the second jack 26, a second terminal groove 272 formed on the rear end of the second jack 26, and a third terminal groove 273 formed on the front end of the second jack 26.

The second to fourth audio terminals 42, 43, 44 each include a holding portion 441 fixed in the second, first and third terminal grooves 272, 271, 273, a contact spring arm 442 formed to extend from the holding portion 441 and elastically suspended in the second insertion hole 26, and a solder foot 443 formed to bend and extend from the holding portion 441 and located on the lower surface 22 b.
The connector 30 includes a middle metal plate 32, first and second terminal sets 31 respectively disposed at upper and lower sides of the middle metal plate 32, and an insulating body 33 integrally formed with the middle metal plate 32 and the first and second terminal sets 31. The insulating body 33 includes a base 331, a step 332 extending forward from the base 331, a butt tongue 333 extending forward from the step 332, and a tail 334 extending backward from the base 331. The base 331 has a groove structure 335 formed on an outer peripheral surface thereof, and the groove structure 335 is an annular groove or a slotted groove.
The plug connector 30 is integrally formed in the first insertion hole 25, and the groove structure 335 at the periphery of the base 331 of the insulation body 33 is filled with the plastic of the insulation base 20 to fix the plug connector 30. Plug connector 30 is Type C Type interface, audio terminal 40 is Audi Jack terminal.
Referring to fig. 5, the fixing plate 50 includes a fixing portion 51 inserted into the fixing groove 28 and a welding portion 52 bent and extended from the bottom of the fixing portion 51 and formed on the lower surface 22b of the insulating base 20.
The audio terminal 40 is inserted into the terminal groove 27 of the second insertion hole 26, and the soldering portions 413, 443 of the audio terminal 40 are located on the lower surface of the second side surface 23b of the insulating base 20 and distributed in a dispersed manner, and the soldering portion 52 of the fixing piece 50 is located on the lower surface 23b of the first side surface 23b of the insulating base 20. When the electrical connector assembly is bonded to the printed circuit board 10, the electrical connector assembly is welded to the printed circuit board 10 at two lateral sides by the solder legs 413 and 443 of the audio terminal 40 and the soldering portion 52 of the fixing piece 50, so that the electrical connector assembly is stably combined with the printed circuit board 10.
Compared with the prior art, the electrical connector assembly of the present application integrates the Type C interface and the audio interface, so as to reduce the occupied space of the printed circuit board 10, and the solder pins 413 and 443 of the audio terminal 40 are uniformly soldered on the printed circuit board 10 on the side of the second side surface 23b of the fixed insulation base 20 in the front-back direction; the fixing plate 50 is fixed in the fixing groove 28 on the first side 23a of the insulating base 20, and the welding portion 52 of the fixing plate 50 is welded to the printed circuit board 10 at the side where the first side 23a of the insulating base 20 is fixed, so that the electrical connector assembly and the printed circuit board 10 are tightly combined into a whole.

An electric connector assembly is attached on a printed circuit board and comprises an insulating base body, a plug connector and a plurality of audio terminals, wherein the insulating base body is provided with a first jack and a second jack in a penetrating way in the front-back direction, the plug connector is arranged in the first jack, the audio terminals are assembled in the second jack, the audio terminal comprises a fixing part, a contact elastic arm and a welding foot, the contact elastic arm extends from the fixing part and is suspended in the second jack, the welding foot extends from the fixing part to the lower surface of the insulating base body, the fixing part is fixedly assembled in the fixing groove, the welding part is formed by bending the bottom of the fixing part and is positioned on the lower surface of the insulating base body, the terminal groove is used for inserting the audio terminal, the audio terminal comprises a fixing part, a contact elastic arm and a welding foot, and the welding leg of the audio terminal and the welding part of the fixing piece are respectively welded and fixed on the printed circuit board at the two transverse sides.

The electrical connector assembly of claim 1, wherein the connector is a Type C connector and comprises a metal middle plate, first and second terminal sets respectively disposed on upper and lower sides of the metal middle plate, and an insulative housing integrally holding the metal middle plate and the first and second terminal sets together, and the insulative housing is integrally formed in the first receptacle of the insulative housing.

The electrical connector assembly of claim 2, wherein said insulative body includes a base portion, a step portion extending forwardly from said base portion, a mating tongue portion extending forwardly from said step portion, and a tail portion extending rearwardly from said base portion, said first and second terminal sets being partially exposed on upper and lower surfaces of said mating tongue portion, respectively.
4. The electrical connector assembly of claim 3, wherein the base portion has a groove structure, and the insulative housing is formed to fill the groove structure, the groove structure being an annular groove.

The electrical connector assembly of claim 1, wherein the second jack has a first terminal groove formed on an outer side surface thereof, a second terminal groove formed on a rear end thereof, and a third terminal groove formed on a front end thereof, and the audio terminals include first and second audio terminals inserted into the second terminal groove from the rear end of the second jack, a third audio terminal inserted into the first terminal groove from a lateral outer side surface thereof, and a fourth audio terminal inserted into the third terminal groove from the front end thereof.

The electrical connector assembly of claim 5, wherein the first audio terminal comprises a holding portion inserted into and fixed in the second terminal groove, a contact spring arm torn from the holding portion and extending and exposed in the second jack, a stop wall bent downward from the holding portion and located at the rear end of the second jack, and a solder fillet bent from the stop wall and formed on the lower surface of the insulating housing.

The electrical connector assembly of claim 5, wherein the second to fourth audio terminals each comprise a holding portion fixed in the second, first and third terminal slots, a contact spring arm extending from the holding portion and elastically suspended in the second receptacle, and a solder foot bent and extending from the holding portion and located on the lower surface of the insulating housing.
8. The electrical connector assembly as claimed in claim 6 or 7, wherein the solder tails of the audio terminals are soldered to the printed circuit board respectively in front and rear directions of the second side of the insulative housing.
9. The electrical connector assembly as claimed in claim 8, wherein the soldering portion of the fixing plate located on the lower surface of the first side of the insulative housing is soldered to the printed circuit board.
