Secondly, as shown in fig. 10 and 11, the liquid supply member is a spraying member 322 (e.g. a nozzle) capable of spraying or outputting the disinfectant solution to the smearing layer 312, and the disinfectant solution in the stock solution can be sprayed to the smearing layer 312 through the spraying member 322 by the pumping action of the liquid supply pump 34 of the contact-type smearing mechanism, so as to replenish the disinfectant solution in the smearing layer 312.
In addition, the banknote processing apparatus with sterilization and disinfection functions according to the embodiment of the present application further includes a banknote detection mechanism (not shown in the figure), which may be disposed between the banknote separation mechanism 1 and the banknote transport mechanism, and is configured to distinguish authenticity, denomination, quality, and the like of banknotes. the contact type smearing mechanism is arranged on the paper money separating mechanism and/or the paper money conveying mechanism;
in the single paper money conveying process, the contact type smearing mechanism is in contact with the surface of the paper money, so that the sterilizing and disinfecting substances contained in the contact type smearing mechanism are attached to the surface of the paper money.

the smearing component is arranged between any two power transmission units, and a smearing surface of the smearing component can be in contact with the paper money transmitted by the power transmission units; the liquid supply part is used for providing sterilization and disinfection substances for the smearing component.

the part of the first conveying part and the part of the second conveying part extend into the banknote conveying channel, so that banknotes can be conveyed in the banknote conveying channel;
the smearing surface of the smearing component extends into the banknote passing channel to contact the banknotes in the banknote passing channel.

the smearing surface of the smearing component extends into the conveying channel and is contacted with the paper money conveyed in the conveying channel; the liquid supply part is used for providing sterilization and disinfection substances for the smearing component.
