5. A floor measuring device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the hinge location of the first and second measuring portions is located at one third of the second measuring portion.
6. A floor measuring device as claimed in claim 5, wherein the hinge location of the first and second measuring portions is located at a distance of 3 cm to 8 cm of the first measuring portion from the end of the first measuring portion adjacent the second measuring portion.
7. A floor measuring device as claimed in any of claims 1 to 6, wherein the first and second measuring portions are both steel bars.
8. A floor measuring device as claimed in any of claims 1 to 6, wherein the connection is a wire.
