In the present embodiment, the mounting plate 123 is disposed in the opening 127 of the sidewall 122, which simplifies the connection between the mounting plate 123 and the base 12 without providing a complicated structure.
In this embodiment, the mounting plate 123 is clamped in the opening 127. The mounting plate 123 may protrude from the opening 127 to the outside of the side wall 122 or retract to the inside of the side wall 122. In this embodiment, the mounting plates 123 are configured in a triangular prism-like configuration, wherein one of the lateral edges is located at a bottom end of the mounting plate 123, the bottom end of the mounting plate 123 is fitted into the opening 127 and pivotally connected to the side wall 122, and the other two lateral edges are located at a top end of the mounting plate 123, the top end of the mounting plate 123 is located between the bottom end of the base 12 and the flange 121 and faces the flange 121. The top end of the mounting plate 123 may protrude from the side wall 122 to the outside of the side wall 122 or retract to the inside of the side wall 122. First, it is confirmed that the mounting plate 123 is retracted to the inside of the side wall 122 of the base 12; if not, a screwdriver is used to retract the mounting plate 123 to the inside of the side wall 122 of the base 12.

Seventh, faucet 16 is mounted to and secured to top 124 of base 12, and tool G is operated so that screws 20 securely fasten faucet 16 to base 12.
The installation process of the faucet assembly 10 of the present invention will now be described with reference to the drawings of fig. 7 and 8.

1. A faucet assembly, comprising:
a base (12), the base (12) being provided with a flange (121), wherein the base (12) extends through a mounting hole of a mounting table (T) and the flange (121) is in contact with a top surface (T2) of the mounting table (T);
a mounting plate (123), the mounting plate (123) being disposed in a side wall (122) of the base (12), wherein the mounting plate (123) is in contact with a bottom surface (T1) of the mounting table (T);
a screw (14), the screw (14) mounted to the base (12), wherein the screw (14) extends through the base (12) and is threadably connected to the mounting plate (123);
a faucet (16), said faucet (16) being mounted on said base (12) with said flange (121) located between said faucet (16) and said top surface (T2); and
a water duct (18), the water duct (18) extending through the base (12) to connect to the faucet (16);
wherein the side wall (122) of the base (12) is configured to move the mounting plate (123) in the extending direction of the base (12), and the mounting plate (123) is configured to protrude or retract relative to the side wall (122); and
when the mounting plate (123) contacts the bottom surface (T1) of the mounting table (T), the mounting plate (123) protrudes from the side wall (122) to the outside of the side wall (122).
2. The faucet assembly according to claim 1, wherein a top portion (124) of the base (12) is located above the flange (121), and an inner side of the top portion (124) is provided with a through hole (125) through which the screw (14) passes, and the mounting plate (123) is provided with a screw hole (126), wherein the screw (14) extends through the through hole (125) and is connected to the screw hole (126).
3. The faucet assembly according to claim 2, wherein an opening (127) is provided in a side wall (122) of the base (12), the opening (127) extending from the flange (121) to a bottom of the base (12), and the mounting plate (123) is provided in the opening (127);
wherein the opening (127) is configured for movement of the mounting plate (123) in the direction of extension of the base (12);
the mounting plate (123) is configured to protrude from the opening (127) to an outside of the side wall (122) or retract to an inside of the side wall (122); and
when the mounting plate (123) is in contact with the bottom surface (T1) of the mounting table T, the mounting plate (123) protrudes from the opening (127) to the outside of the side wall (122).
4. The faucet assembly of claim 3, wherein the through-hole (125) is located above the opening (127).
5. The faucet assembly according to claim 4, wherein the mounting plate (123) is a rectangular parallelepiped, and a direction of extension of at least one side of the rectangular parallelepiped coincides with a direction in which the mounting plate (123) protrudes from the side wall (122) to an outside of the side wall (122) or retracts to an inside of the side wall (122).

The faucet assembly of claim 4, wherein the bottom end of the mounting plate (123) is nested within the opening (127) and pivotally connected to the side wall (122), wherein the top end of the mounting plate (123) protrudes from the side wall (122) to the outside of the side wall (122) when the mounting plate (123) is in contact with the bottom surface (T1) of the mounting deck (T).
