Description

Adjustable supporting device
Technical Field
The utility model relates to an adjustable strutting arrangement for automatic escalator's guardrail pillar.
Background
After the escalator is installed according to the angle of actual use, the guardrail pillar has the trend of downward sloping under the influence of gravity, because what actually formed between guardrail stand and guardrail section bar and escalator's truss is the unstable structure of quadrangle, so if the guardrail can produce obvious rocking when receiving big exogenic action along handrail area traffic direction. Therefore, a stable triangular structure can be formed after a supporting piece is provided for supporting the guardrail upright post, and the shaking of the guardrail can be obviously inhibited. In the prior art, as shown in fig. 1, a support 1' has one end fixed to a truss 2 of an escalator and the other end fixed to a guardrail post 3, thereby providing support to the escalator post. However, such a support is generally a sheet metal bent part with a fixed angle, which cannot be adjusted to a desired value after installation on site.
For this reason, there is a need for an adjustable support device that can be used with a guardrail post that can conveniently adjust the angle of adjustment of the guardrail post while correcting for the offset of the guardrail post.

The description of "first" and its variants is merely for the purpose of distinguishing between the parts and does not limit the scope of the invention, which can be written as "second" and so on without departing from the scope of the invention.
The drawings in the present specification are schematic views to assist in explaining the concept of the present invention, and schematically show the shapes of the respective portions and the mutual relationships thereof.
Hereinafter, a preferred embodiment according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to fig. 2 to 12.
As shown in fig. 2 to 5, an adjustable supporting device 1 according to the present invention is installed between a truss 2 and a guardrail post 3 of an escalator to support the guardrail post. The adjustable support means comprises a base 11 and a support bar 12, the base 11 being fixedly mounted to the truss 2, for example by screws, and one end of the support bar 12 being pivotally mounted to the base 11. By way of example, the base 11 has a recess 111 that receives one end of the support bar 12, the one end of the support bar 12 being received in the recess 111, and having an aperture 121, with screws passing through two apertures in the base and the aperture 121 of the support bar, such that the support bar is pivotally mounted to the base. In this way, the support bar can be pivoted relative to the girder 2, thereby adjusting the angle.
The adjustable support means further comprises a clamping mechanism, and when the guardrail posts are deflected from their normal positions by the deformation of the escalator assembly, the support bar pivots to push the guardrail posts to their normal positions and to clamp the guardrail posts via the clamping mechanism. Specifically, the clamping mechanism includes a first clamp block 13 and a second clamp block 14 between which the guardrail posts 3 are clamped, the first and second clamp blocks having first and second through holes 131 and 131, respectively. Advantageously, the first and second clamping blocks have a trapezoidal shape. A first nut 15 is arranged on the side of the first clamp block 13 facing away from the guard rail post 3 and a second nut 16 is arranged on the side of the second clamp block 14 facing away from the guard rail post 3. A threaded rod 17 passes through the first nut, the first through hole of the first clamp block, the racetrack-shaped through hole 31 of the guardrail post (as shown in fig. 5), the second through hole of the second clamp block and the second nut, and is screwed into a threaded hole at the other end of the support rod. During the operation of the adjustable supporting device, the screw rod can move relative to the runway-shaped through hole 31 through the runway-shaped through hole, so that the orientation is adjusted.
Fig. 6 to 9 show a first block and a second block. As shown in fig. 6, the first block 13 has a first through hole 131, and as shown in fig. 7, the second block has a second through hole 141. As shown in fig. 8 and 9, the size of the first and second through holes 131 and 141 is larger than the size of the screw 17, which enables the screw to move relative to the first and second through holes when the support bar is pivoted, thereby adjusting the angle of the first and second clamping blocks so that the first surface 132 of the first clamping block or the second surface 133 of the second clamping block comes into surface contact with the guardrail posts.
The process of the adjustable support device of the present invention to calibrate a guardrail post is described with reference to fig. 10-12.
As shown in fig. 10, the guardrail posts 3 are biased downwardly from their normal position (shown in phantom) by gravity. As shown in fig. 11, the support bar is now pivoted, the angle of the support bar relative to the truss is adjusted so that the first surface 132 of the first clamp block 13 makes face contact with the guardrail posts (the second surface 142 of the second clamp block is now parallel to the surface of the guardrail posts), then the screw 17 is rotated so that the first clamp block pushes the guardrail posts back to the normal position, and then the first and second nuts are tightened so that the first surface of the first clamp block and the second surface of the second clamp block grip the guardrail posts as shown in fig. 12. It will be appreciated by those skilled in the art that the guardrail posts are aligned in their normal position relative to the other components of the escalator and therefore, based thereon, it can be determined whether the guardrail posts have moved to their normal position.
It will of course be appreciated that when the guard rail post is deflected in the other direction by gravity, the second clamp block 14 can be moved so that the second surface of the second clamp block is brought into face contact with the surface of the guard rail post (with the first surface of the first clamp block being parallel to the surface of the guard rail post) and then the screw rotated so that the second clamp block pushes the guard rail post to its normal position. The first and second nuts are then tightened to apply a clamping force to the first and second clamp blocks to clamp the guardrail posts therebetween.
In the above-described embodiment, the first through-hole of the first block and the second through-hole of the second block are larger than the size of the screw and do not include a thread. Of course, the first through-hole and/or the second through-hole may also comprise a thread, whereby the correct action of the adjustable support means can be achieved by cooperation with the threaded rod as well.
In the above embodiment, by screwing the screw 17, the first clamp block or the second clamp block is moved while ensuring the surface contact of the first clamp block or the second clamp block with the guard rail post. Of course, instead of screwing the screw 17 to move the first clamp block or the second clamp block to push the guardrail post to the normal position, it is also possible to move the first clamp block or the second clamp block to make surface contact with the guardrail post and push the guardrail post to the normal position by other means (such as manual force), and then to screw the first nut or the second nut to fix the first clamp block or the second clamp block.
The adjustable support device according to the invention has been described above. Through the adjustable supporting device, the supporting angle of the guardrail support post can be conveniently adjusted when the escalator is installed, so that the guardrail support post is kept at a normal position.
Moreover, the technical features disclosed above are not limited to the combinations with other features disclosed, and other combinations between the technical features can be performed by those skilled in the art according to the purpose of the invention to achieve the aim of the invention.
