In the present embodiment, the existence of the covering edge 123 and the installation of the installation groove 124 enable the touch sensor 32 to have a sufficient installation space and the touch sensor 32 to operate stably, while ensuring stable support of the edge portion 21 of the display screen 20.
It will be appreciated that in some embodiments, the flat portion 22 of the display screen 20 may be used for display, the edge portion 21 may not be used for display, and the edge portion 21 may be formed with an indication pattern (not shown) that corresponds to the touch sensors 32 of the sensor assembly 30. In this way, the indication pattern may be used to indicate that the user may perform a touch operation on the edge portion 21, and the touch sensor 32 corresponding to the indication pattern may sense the touch operation to adjust a volume or the like of the electronic device 100.
Specifically, the indication pattern may be a silk-screen layer silk-screened on the edge portion 21 by a silk-screen method. The shape of the indication pattern may be designed to be similar to the shape of a physical key, for example, the indication pattern may include a power key pattern and a volume key pattern, so that the user can control the display and the extinguishing of the display screen 20 by pressing the power key pattern, and the volume of the electronic device 100 can be adjusted by the volume key pattern. It is understood that the user may slide up and down on the volume key pattern to adjust the volume of the electronic device 100.
Referring to fig. 5 to 8, in the present embodiment, the rear cover 50 of the electronic device 100 is mounted on the middle frame 11 of the housing assembly 10, the rear cover 50 is located below the middle frame 11, and the rear cover 50 and the front shell 12 are respectively disposed at two sides of the middle frame 11. The rear cover 50 may close the middle frame 11 so that electronic components (e.g., the main board 40, the battery, etc.) disposed in the middle frame 11 are not exposed to the air. In this way, on the one hand, the aesthetic appearance of the electronic device 100 can be ensured, and on the other hand, electronic components, such as a motherboard, inside the middle frame 11 can be protected.
Next, the operation principle of the electronic device 100 according to the present embodiment will be described.
