A drip tray assembly according to claim 4, in which the upper housing structure (21) is a tubular structure open at both its upper and lower ends, the lower housing structure (22) is a tubular structure open at its upper end, and at least one weir (23) is provided in the upper housing structure (21) below the external threaded structure.

A drip tray assembly according to claim 5, in which the floor of the vertical cross-sectional shape of the overflow aperture (23) is arranged to rise gradually from the outer wall of the upper housing structure (21) towards the inner wall, or the floor of the vertical cross-sectional shape of the overflow aperture (23) is arranged to rise gradually from the inner wall of the upper housing structure (21) towards the outer wall.
7. A drip tray assembly according to claim 6, in which the overflow (23) has a vertical cross-sectional shape with a base which is inclined to the horizontal in the range 5 ° to 10 °.
8. A drip tray assembly according to claim 5, further comprising a filter screen disposed at the overflow (23).
9. A drip tray assembly according to claim 5, in which the water suction opening of the pump (3) is located below the overflow opening (23) when the closure member (2) is mounted at the through-hole (11).
10. A water tray assembly according to any of claims 1 to 9, characterised in that the bottom of the closure member (2) is provided with a screw structure (24) comprising ribs and screw direction indicating indicia (25).
11. An air conditioner characterised by comprising a water tray assembly as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 10.
