Abstract
The present invention relates to a seat for a motor vehicle, comprising at least one humidity and/or temperature sensor arranged in the region of the seat, in order to be able to measure parameters of the surrounding environment.
Description
Technical Field
The utility model relates to a seat for motor vehicles.
Background
In this age, motor vehicles are often equipped with devices for ventilating, air conditioning and/or heating the air flow entering the passenger compartment in order to provide the occupants with a comfortable environment at the desired temperature.
However, since such a device blows air throughout the passenger compartment, personal wishes cannot be taken into account.
Furthermore, since the device is located in the engine compartment of the vehicle, the data required for its operation may be incorrect.
The object of the present invention is to overcome this drawback.
SUMMERY OF THE UTILITY MODEL
To this end, the object of the invention is a seat for a motor vehicle, comprising at least one humidity and/or temperature sensor, which is arranged in the region of the seat such that it can measure parameters of the surroundings.
With such a seat according to the invention, since the sensor is close to the seat occupant while avoiding contact with the occupant, the sensor measures the actual humidity level and/or the actual temperature in the passenger compartment, which optimizes the operation of the ventilation, air conditioning and/or heating device.
In addition, when the seat itself is equipped with ventilation, air conditioning and/or heating means for the seat, the measurements from the sensors allow to control the adjustment of the means in a suitable manner.
According to a feature of the invention, said area of the seat is an upper area and/or a side area of the seat when the seat is installed in a motor vehicle. In the particular case of the side regions of the seat, the sensors can be located in and/or on the lateral housings of the seat part, for example the housings will be made of plastic.
The sensor can also be located on the lateral shell of the backrest, if for example the backrest fitting is made of plastic.
According to another feature of the invention, the seat comprises a headrest, the at least one sensor being integral with the headrest.
According to another feature of the invention, the at least one sensor is arranged in an upper portion of the headrest and/or in a sheath of the headrest.
According to another feature of the invention, the seat comprises a backrest, the at least one sensor being integral with an upper portion of the backrest. The sensor may also be integral with the area located on the rear surface of the backrest.
According to another feature of the invention, the seat comprises an armrest, the at least one sensor being integral with the armrest.
According to another feature of the invention, the sensor is located in an area in the rear surface of the seat part.
According to another feature of the invention, the seat comprises an electronic control module for adjusting ventilation, air conditioning and/or heating means of the seat and/or of the vehicle, the electronic module being connected to said at least one sensor.
In the description, when reference is made to a position or orientation delimiter, such as the terms "front", "rear", "upper", "lower", "side", these refer to the seat in the normal use position in the normal direction of travel of the vehicle.
Drawings
Other features and advantages of the invention will become apparent from a reading of the following description. This is merely illustrative and reference is made to the accompanying drawings, wherein:
figure 1 shows a schematic side view of a motor vehicle seat;
figures 2 to 5 show perspective views of the seat of figure 1 with several possible positions for the sensors;
figure 6 shows a perspective view of a motor vehicle seat according to a first embodiment of the invention;
figure 7 shows a rear view of a seat according to different embodiments; and
figures 8, 9 and 10 show perspective views of details of a seat according to an alternative embodiment.
Detailed Description
Chair (Ref. now to FIGS)
As shown in fig. 1, the chair 2 comprises a backrest 3 and a seat portion 4, for example, to which the backrest 3 can be mounted.
The seat part 4 is attached to the floor P of the chassis of the motor vehicle by means of one or more guide rails, for example two side rails, each extending in the longitudinal direction X.
The transverse direction Y is defined as being perpendicular to the longitudinal direction X.
More specifically, the transverse direction Y and the longitudinal direction X may, for example, lie substantially in a substantially horizontal extension plane of the floor P of the vehicle.
The Z direction corresponds to the vertical direction.
The upper part of the backrest 3 is called a cap, marked 5.
As can be seen in fig. 1, the seat further comprises a headrest 6 and two armrests 7.
The headrest 6 is fixed to the cap 5 by two sheaths 8.
Sensor with a sensor element
As can be seen in the figure, the seat 1 comprises one or more humidity and/or temperature sensors, indicated with 10.
Advantageously, the same sensor 10 is configured to measure both humidity level and temperature.
The sensor comprises, for example, a capacitive probe.
The sensor 10 is an environmental sensor, meaning that the sensor 10 is arranged to avoid contact with a seat occupant.
Fig. 2 to 7 show the areas for mounting one or more sensors 10.
In each of these figures, the sensors are arranged close to the occupant of the seat while avoiding contact, ensuring that the environmental measurements coincide with the actual values.
In fig. 2, the area 20 corresponds to the upper and side portions of the seat 1.
In fig. 3, the area 21 corresponds to the rear of the seat 1.
In fig. 4, a preferred region 22 of the region 20 is shown. This is the area comprising the upper region of the headrest and backrest 3.
In fig. 5, a preferred region 23 of the region 22 is shown. This is the back region of the backrest 3 and the upper region of the backrest 3.
Fig. 8 to 10 show an example of mounting one or more sensors 10 in the housing of one of the backrest (10-1), the seat portion (10-2), the headrest (10-3), the cover 8 of the headrest 6(10-4), the armrest 7(10-5), respectively, in the seat 1.
Of course, these variations may be combined, in other words, the seat may include sensors at one or another of these possible locations.
The seat 1 further comprises an electronic module 11, the sensor 10 being in communication with the electronic module 11.
The module 11 makes it possible to process the measurements of the sensor 10.
The application comprises the following steps: ventilation, air conditioning and/or seat heating device
Advantageously, the seat 1 is equipped with ventilation, air conditioning and/or heating means for the seat (not shown), allowing the seat to be heated or ventilated as required by the occupant of the seat.
In this case, the regulation of the device is controlled by an electronic control module which uses humidity and/or temperature information from the sensor 10 as control parameters.
The application comprises the following steps: ventilation, air conditioning and/or seat heating device
According to another embodiment of the invention, the electronic module 11 communicates with a ventilation, air-conditioning and/or heating device of the motor vehicle (not shown), which ensures that the regulation of the device takes into account the actual humidity and temperature values in the passenger compartment.
Advantages of the invention
As already apparent from the description, the invention ensures integration close to the seat occupant, which allows a more appropriate adjustment of the device for ventilation, air conditioning and/or heating of the vehicle or heating of the seat directly.
Note that the embodiments may be combined as long as they are incompatible.
